Superb heater for the loft and hopefully no more burst pipes!!!!

I have this heater installed beneath my central heating boiler, with the blessing of the heating engineer. It was installed after the lagged pipes froze leading to a catastrophic boiler failure, flood and new heat exchanger. The low wattage is perfect to leave on for days when the outside temperature is close to zero and is set to come on and maintain a temperature of 4C. Excellent value for money, both cost and running cost and fits perfectly in the cupboard in the garage that houses the boiler.

I am so pleased with this. I needed to take the edge off the summerhouse over winter, as in the past it's got very damp and I keep artists materials in there, so some were ruined. While it certainly didn't make it hot it kept it temperate enough that everything was fine and stayed dry, and now I'm using it to keep seedlings warmed on cold nights. It's been on all winter, and I was quite nervous with the cost of electricity, but it hasn't made a significant difference which is amazing. It was relatively easy to fit, and the thermostat works well so it merrily goes on and off without you having to do anything at all.

I have placed one of these within my indoor rabbit enclosure (I wouldn't use the word "hutch" as it is open and has no door). This is located downstairs in a room with a flat roof and poor insulation so it can get quite cold. You may be able to see from the thermometer that it went down to 10 degrees before I got the Dimplex heater. Now it is installed, it warms the immediate vicinity by 4 or 5 degrees compared to the air around the rest of the room. Having a built in thermostat is such a benefit on such a device too. At 80w it uses negligible electricity to run, even if it is on 24/7 (which as it's almost December, it is at the moment). I'm a happy bunny, oh, and so is he!
