Good quality handheld, very well made, nice & clear RX & TX, good battery life (USB C rechargeable) same unit as the ‘Thunderpole’ for those that are wondering. Get yourself a long BNC telescopic antenna, makes a world of difference 👍

Excellent radio with so many features. Just beware that the UK band is FM only. The stock antenna is good, I tuned into a chat from inside my house! Love how it can be charged with a normal USB.

Nice size radio eash to navigate menus set up easy feels well made but maybe battery life not sure yet the flexy antenna I like feel is good large display usb charging port is a bonus 😀 👍

This is a great hand held cb. It works as it should. It comes with a little rubber ducky antenna which works great and has good range. I bought a thunderpole extendable antenna to try to improve the signal, but the radio seems to prefer the rubber ducky. It comes with the car kit too. This radio is ver similar to the Thunderpole tx. And i mean very similar. Ok so the layout of the display and buttons are different, but performance wise they are similar....except the TX doesn't come with the car kit.

It's a great easy to operate radio but the one got was set up for the European market which was putting out nearly the advertised full 4watts of power but on the UK 40 channels which I bought it for was only outputting 2watts It's hard enough working off 4watts and 2watts for me isn't fair and PNI would sell lots more in the UK if they calibrated it to as close to the 4 watts they advertise Other than that it's an excellent tadio

Build quality and functionality is really easy to use and a sturdy piece of equipment. We thought the signal quality might be rubbish considering the price was so reasonable but it actually works extremely well.

The PNI escort HP 82 is an absolutely fantastic handheld CB radio. I did change the antenna on it first thing for better reception. Longest contact I have made on it was 2.5 mi away with a base station operator. It shipped in EU/UK/international mode for Europe. To put it into US mode: Turn on with 'FUNC' + PTT and select 'Table 7'. This radio also has configuration 'Tables' for EU, UK, Australia/NZ, US/NA, India, Thailand, and full 11-meter mode (Table 2). 📻🇺🇲🌎

la radio llego en perfecto estado, en su propia caja de embalaje, trae 1 antena, 1 cable de alimentación para ser conectado a la entrada del encendedor de cigarros de tu coche, en este mismo cable trae una conexión para conectar la radio a una antena exterior, 1 adaptador de corriente con su cable tipo C para alimentar la radio a la energía de casa, o con un banco de energía externa a 5 voltios, un pequeño clic para fijar la radio al coche o a la pared, la radio es muy fácil de usar, tiene 40 canales, funciona en AM o FM, según lo configures, se pueden escanear las 40 canales automáticamente, tien control para alta y baja potencia, squelch, tono de llamada, y tono de botones, y lo mas importante NO hay que joderse teniendo que tener una licencia de radioaficionado, pues en España aun es legal tener y transmitir por la CB 11 metros y se puede hablar de temas normales sin tanta tontearía. y para un caso de emergencia podrían funcionar, yo le he comprado una antena extensible con conexión BNC para 27.000 mhz banda ciudadana 11 metros,

Die Menüführung ist selbsterklärend, sodass man auch während der Fahrt schnell den Kanal wechseln oder die Squelch-Einstellung anpassen kann. Die Reichweite ist für eine tragbare CB-Funkstation beeindruckend. In freiem Gelände konnte ich problemlos mit anderen Funkern in bis zu 5 km Entfernung kommunizieren – bei leicht bewaldetem Terrain waren es immer noch um die 2–3 km. Die Lautstärke des eingebauten Lautsprechers reicht selbst in lauten Offroad-Umgebungen völlig aus, und die Sprachqualität bleibt klar, ohne Rauschen oder Verzerrungen. Positiv aufgefallen sind mir außerdem: Akkulaufzeit: Mit dem integrierten Li-Ion-Akku komme ich bei moderater Nutzung auf rund 8–10 Stunden – ideal für lange Einsätze unterwegs. RF-Gain und Squelch: Feineinstellungen gelingen einfach, sodass man auch in dicht belegten Funknetzen störungsfrei arbeitet. Zubehör: Die mitgelieferte Antenne liefert ordentliche Performance, und das USB-C-Ladekabel sorgt für schnellen Nachschub. Kritikpunkt: Einen kleinen Abzug gibt es für die fehlende Möglichkeit, das Display zu dimmen – bei grellem Sonnenlicht erkennt man die Ziffern nicht immer perfekt.
