For the price this is a good connector, works exactly as it should, allows for orange blue and green wire sets to be connected in a phone/AT&T broadband cat. Used this to replace the standard AT&T wall plate so I could add Ethernet plugs to the wall. Did not reduce speed, works exactly the same as the original AT&T wall plug.

Easy to punch down and they work well. Fits with most wall plates and surface mount boxes designed for keystone jacks.

Wasted my time with these, only to come back here and read another reviewer experienced the same exact scenario I did. These will probably work find if you are working with a single-phone line (pins 3/4). In my case, I was working with a two-line set, so I needed 2/3/4/5. After troubleshooting every other component I narrowed my problem down to these Jacks. After I pulled one, I confirmed that pin 2 is NOT connected internally; thus the 2nd line will not work. I have since tested the remaining jacks out of the 5-pack I bought and found none of them are working properly.

These keystone jacks work well enough, but do NOT use an impact punchdown tool on them. Doing so breaks the copper pads off the small PCB inside the jack. I went through about a dozen jacks before I figured out what was happening. I finally tore one of the "bad" jacks apart to see what was going on. I ended up just using the blade of my punchdown tool to manually push the wires into the connection points. In almost 30 years of terminating Cat5/cat6 on keystones, I've never seen that happen.

Did what it needed to do. With the shift in how people communicate, the phone jack is one that is getting tougher and tougher to find

I had to rip out every single one of these after finding out pins 2 and 5 (the most important ones in my case) didn't work on any of them! This is likely due to the fact that the actual IDC blades are off centre and offset, and not all in the centre like a typical 110-style punch down block. Will definitely be returning!

Description claims these are 110 punch down type keystones - they are not. The IDC blades are not centered like a 110-style punch down block so not compatible with 110 tools. Useless !
