DOUBLE THE STARS, AWESOME PRODUCT!It's more than my expectation and saved me at least $50 from Simolio.I’m hearing impaired and used to make TV much loud which disturbed my family a lot. I was seeking everywhere for a good product. I made comparisons to several similar wireless TV speakers before ordering. For Simolio SM-621D, besides the built-in digital optical converter and additional power adapter for speaker charging and power supply independently, it also provides an under-chin designed headset which can be connected to the speaker for quietly hearing TV . But for the other similar one, if I prefer optical input and don’t want to return the receiver to the transmitter base for charging . I will have to spend extra money to purchase a digital optical converter and two power adapters (one for digital optical converter, another for receiver), which means I need totally three adapters to support the whole set unit . what a mess. By contrast, I tended to buy from Simolio. I heard Simolio is a professional seller. It turns out that I am completely right. I have to say this is one of my most successful online shopping so far. The unit is extremely easy to set up, built-in digital optical converter box, works perfect for my Smart TV, I can put the speaker next to me, and the TV dialogue is so clear and close to me.Thanks for their thoughtful idea to provide two AC adapters.The super cost performance also makes me very satisfied, I love the speaker. Highly recommend.

Bought this for my husband 4 months ago. We love it and are purchasing a 2nd unit for the downstairs family room. There are a few things to know that might be helpful. It works a little differently from TV to TV. Example being.. mine is in our livingroom and my in-laws purchased one after hearing ours. When hooking it up on our tv, I had a few adjustments in the sound/audio settings on the tv for the speaker to produce sound. I have a new Sony Bravia (smart tv). It took my an hour or so to figure out what needed to be changed for it to work. Which I am not very tech savvy so that timeframe could have been due to me. BUT...once I got it, sooo worth it. We just love it. I can take it outside on our screened patio and still hear clearly and as loudly as I want (I like to play my music through it sometimes). I can get approx 35 feet away from the receiver before it starts to cut out.So when I hooked it up my in-laws speaker, there were no sound adjustments that needed to be made in the settings of the tv itself. I simply plugged and played. Super easy and done within 3 mins. Their tv is a 5ish year old roku.You do not have to get up off the couch or outta bed at night to put it on its charger if you don't want. Simply drop it on there in the morning when you wake up. Ours seems to last approx 8ish hrs before needing a charge.I do find it slightly pricey for a tv speaker. You can get a decent sounding sound bar speaker in this price range. BUT this is not a "surround sound/sound bar" sound. It does not and is not designed to work that way either, so don't expect that. We have a good sound bar and still needed this for the voice hearing. We had to turn the sound bar up so high to hear low voice talking that the whole house could hear our tv. lol. This focuses on the voice. So if you are having to turn your tv up loud to hear them talking, like we do, or if you are hearing impaired, this unit will be just what you need.**update 7/28/23** The battery in one of our two units went bad and quit charging. I emailed Simolio customer service and explained my problem. They replied the very next morning. After doing some troubleshooting to confirm it was only a battery problem and not something else, they got me a new battery in the mail. They have a 12 month warranty. I didn't have to do anything but give my Amazon order # and mailing address. They handled everything else. Great customer service.

Really like this unit. I bought it strictly to take with me when I’m traveling because I cannot hear the TV from across the room in some hotel rooms. I am hard of hearing but some hotels has a volume control limit on their TV’s that you can turn them up as much as you want and the volume only goes loud to a certain level and stops, the volume control graph bar goes to max but the actually volume really doesn’t reach that level. This is where the hunt went for this unit. I have a pair of wireless speakers already in my bedroom that I bought years ago so I knew what to look for; the problem was finding it because all the external speakers are Bluetooth now. Being that it’s not my TV and the hotels I would have to know if the TV is Bluetooth compatible, not really a good option to bank on. The volume control is very loud all the way at max. Not sure what other reviews noted that it wasn’t, I can’t even listen to it at max. You have three tone levels, treble, normal, and bass settings. I first had it on the bass setting but it sounded somewhat muffled at times and reverberated. Switched it to normal and it sounded so much better and clearer, think that setting just cuts the high end of the 20K frequency spectrum to make it sound more bassy but it doesn’t work for me, so I keep it on normal.It’s a good solid portable speaker. The features that I opted for when buying it was the independent volume control and all the cable connections to hook it up (will get back to this one), plus the ability to plug both units to a source individually with a power adapter. It does come with rechargeable batteries but knowing you can plug the speaker up to a source and not worry about battery life is a bonus.Okay…about all those cable hook ups that comes with this unit. This is the complete hook up package and very glad I got this unit verse some of the others I was looking at. You might not think you need all those cable connections but it’s good to have them, then not to have them at all. Case in point, this past weekend I was at a hotel over the weekend my usual optical hook up and cable output on the TV to the speaker base unit would not output any sound to the speaker. Even going to ‘menu settings’ for audio/sound on the TV it would not give me the option to output or turn on the output through the optical link on the TV. Called the front desk to have someone come up to reprogram the audio settings to get sound out for externals speakers and found out since they are using a TV provider everything; even the TV controls is controlled through the providers box and it’s nothing that can be fixed on their side. (Explains the limited volume control on some of these hotel TV’s) Roadblock…lucky for me I bought all my cables that came with this unit and swapped the optical cable out for the 3.5mm phono cable and plugged it into the ‘Speaker Out’ on the back of the TV and the receiving end in the speaker base unit. I’m really not that smart and had to look online to find out I could do this with this TV (LG model) but just having that 3.5mm plug was all good and can’t stress enough if you move around from TV – TV and housing bring all your cables with you as back up, it’s all you need to get this unit working as advertised.

It's easy to setup, good straight forward directions and delivers everything that's promised. I'm 90 and have been battling being 'hearing impaired' for about 20 yrs, so I've been down this pike a few times. The speaker has a 3mm jack and with my hearing aids removed and a good pair of headphones I get the best sounds I've heard in years. For me, that alone makes this a wonderful product.

The seller should tell people that the speaker and base unit of these items are not specifically paired to each other. If you have two units in the house and you use both units in the wireless mode (i.e. speaker not in the base unit) the speaker may connect to the other base unit connected to the other TV.I have one for the living room TV and was very happy with it. I purchased a second one for the bedroom TV. After I hooked everything up for the bedroom TV and started using it in the wireless mode (i.e. speaker not in the base module) the bedroom TV speaker connected to the living room TV. I was getting the audio from the TV in the living room not the bedroom TV.I placed the speaker for the bedroom unit back in the base and it played the audio from the bedroom TV. When I removed it from the base module it stayed connected to the correct TV. However, when the living room TV was shut off the speaker for the living room unit started playing the audio for the bedroom TV.When the living room TV was turned on again the speaker for this unit continued to play the audio for the bedroom TV. In order to have the living room speaker connect to the living room TV again, the bedroom TV AND the base unit in the bedroom had to be shut off. I have disconnected one of the units so I guess I now have a spare.

I'm changing my product review from 3 stars to 5 stars. While it worked perfectly on youtube tv it didn't work on netflis or prime. But after several back and forth emails with simolio, we got the settings corrected and now it works! Their customer service was very responsive and helped us to correct the problem. The audio is perfect and I can move the speaker to whatever I'm doing (i.e. washing dishes or cooking) and I don't have to have the living room tv blaring which interferes with my husband listening to his programs in the den. I also think that the simolio audio is clearer than my new 75" tv with soundboard.

I was able to install this for my elderly parents easily. The Optical cable worked for their TCL Roku TV, it has an optical audio port that was not being used. I did not have to do anything extra with the TV settings. They have a small cable box in use with the TV but no other accessories. Their box is not a DVR box and has no time display- very basic. I did not have to place the base far from the TV for it to work. That was a concern due to TV placement in their home and access to plugs, but it works fine sitting 1 foot from the TV. So I plugged the base into the wall and used the optical audio cable to connect it to the TV. I placed the speaker across the room and plugged it into an outlet under the sofa. The sound was perfect and very clear. The speaker is simple with just a dial for on, off, and volume so my elderly parents can use it due to simplicity. They used to have TV volume higher than 50-60 to hear and now it can be below 20 as they basically can hear the TV through the speaker very clearly and at a reasonable volume as well. (they have refused hearing aids for years!) What a great product. Very satisfied.

Really had high hopes for this product because was impressed with the fact that it came with all necessary cables plus a set of stethoscope headphones.The good:- Easy setup, intuitive operation- Decent sound quality- Versatile cable/power options- Relatively compact design- Independent volume control*The bad:- *Independent volume control means muting TV doesn't do anything (LG)- Appears to have a timeout function so have to turn off then back on after idle for some time- Above issue means that volume position can't be set and left alone between watching sessions- Headphone jack is on the back and overrides speaker (can't leave plugged in/have to reach behind)- Tone switch is also on the back of the unit so have to reach behind to make adjustmentsThe unimportant:- Doesn't have a remote (only mentioning since it was in the feature rating section)- Uses power brick which is difficult to fit on full power strips (nice to have 2 power adapters, though)- Power lights are a bit bright but easily hiddenFor what it's worth, my parents were happy with this for the short time they used it but the headphones were never used and the volume kept creeping up due to continued hearing troubles (one with good hearing stopped reaping the benefit) before it all became moot for them.

Par prévention et avoir une batterie au cas où, ils m'en ont envoyé une autre tout aussi rapidement que la 1ère fois. Finalement le soucis venait du câble audio entre l'embase et la télévision.En conclusion, Service Clients exemplaire que l'on aimerait retrouver chez tous les vendeurs !!!

以前は国産メーカーのワイヤレススピーカー使っていましたがこちらのスピーカーはコスパいいですね。より遠くまで電波届くので音が途切れにくいです。その代わり電池の消耗は激しいですが。ACアダプターが二個付属なのはありがたい。

This product is amazing. We love that we can now all listen to the TV at a comfortable level and my Dad, who is hard of hearing, has quality sound beside him. We have had great customer service from the moment the product was shipped. This was a big success with my mother in-law. She normally has her TV on full volume. With this device installed (very easily) she is able to have the wireless speaker right beside her armchair. The sound is extremely clear on the normal setting, though it also has a tone setting optimised for speech. The volume has thankfully come down to a much more sensible level and my ears have stopped bleeding.She’s very non technical, so the simple single rotary volume/power knob is ideal.The base station has to be powered by a mains power supply, but the speaker unit is rechargeable if you place it on the base when not in use. However, to avoid having to recharge, a second power supply is provided for the speaker unit. It is advised to remove the lithium battery pack if this is the chosen setup.The speaker unit is light and easily portable, the size and shape of a small handbag.A simple stethoscope style headset is also supplied, which works fine, but sort of defeats the object of the wireless speaker.There are several possible connection options at the TV end. All necessary leads are included. A comprehensive manual is also supplied, which I studied AFTER quickly setting up 😀
