tried severa lof the CD boomboxes and this is the only one that was good enough to keep. not likely to be unhappy or disappointed with this CD player. no needless high tech "improvements"....just plain old simple "push this button" and it plays beautifully. also has easy to use repeat funcytions. real nice little CD box.

I purchased this item July 8, 2021...and will be ordering another ASAP. Did it break? Nope. Did it stop playing discs? Nope. Did it get bad reception? Nope. New kitten, liter training,since the cat still learning...well...it didn't end well for the boombox. *sigh* If not for the cat, however, I'd still be using it now! My kids and I go to the park (trails and the tennis courts when empty) to roller skate and we always bring this little thing along so we can create our own outdoor "rink" complete with music blaring. The sound quality is pretty amazing for the price/size, much better than even I expected. Can't wait to get my new one...but I will definitely be keeping this one away from all things furry!

Not a bad little cd player. Plays well as is very easy to use. Kind of cheaply made, but it serves the purpose. I was looking for a small cd player that didn’t take up a lot of room and played and worked well. For the money, this is a fine little cs player! I would recommend it to someone who has need for a small little player like this. Great little player!

Well I am covered in beads of sweat and POed to the max after trying to get the C batteries in place. That's right. It took forever. Why? The spring slip around as you are trying to center the battery and compress the spring flat. I shoved that battery as far as I could so that it would stay put but it kept flying out of it's compartment and straight UP into the air. After several attempts I'd get ONE in and as I'd be working on the next battery the fist one would decide to pop up on me. I was outside and my next door neighbor heard me cussing and she offered to help me. Young and fit jogger had to same issues so now we are BOTH cussing like sailors. I told her "I can't WAIT to write a review on this thing!" and here I am. NOTHING should be this hard to do. I bought a magnavox portable CD player identical to this one at least 10 years ago and I remember that the batteries just went in super smooth and easy. I still have the original one to compare. It works I just needed a second one for a vacation home. I examined the battery area on the older one and the plastic components on it are FAR superior as they are thicker MUCH harder plastic and the springs are softer and compress like a dream. NOT LIKE THIS NEW ONE I was cussing as sweat poured off of me. I'll do a another review of this after I've played the radio and the CD player because right now I just need to pour me a glass of wine, hit the recliner and decompress. I'm giving it one lousy star just for WEARING ME OUT!

Still going strong. The radio tunes in really good and the cd player works as good as new still.

I ordered this product and the delivery time was amazing. However, I found the speakers too small and sound quality lacking; it had too much base and 'insufficient treble.' So, it did not work for me. I gave it to my grandchildren. The tuning selector is difficult to read with no reference point for the tuning dial, so tuning into a specific station is difficult. At least, it was for me. I could not find our local radio station. The LED display is for the CD player only, not for the radio tuner. It has an INPUT 3.5 connection for playing auxiliary units through the radio's speakers, but it has no OUTPUT connection for headphone listening. I thought that odd. The handle is good and the unit is not heavy--ideal for children who don't worry oo much about sound quality. Some music stations come in clearly. But I could not use it for playing my non-music CDs. It has an INTERNAL antenna, so kids can't break it off. For around $30 I'm sure they'll be happy. Personally, I will need to find a higher end unit with larger speakers.
