The Powertec 13132 Band Saw Blade
The Powertec Band Saw blade was all that it was described to be. This is a good product offered for a fair price. I will certainly buy more of these blades. There have been other reviews stating that the blade was too small for the saw. I did not have any problems with a number of the 62 inch blades that I purchased. There are also 59 1/2 inch blades advertised for these band saws. My bet is that this small blade size was mistakenly purchased and this was the reason for the misfit.

Good… BUT
I have been buying these blades for over a year. I think the functionality is great when it’s there, but the quality isn’t consistent of what’s being sent. Some work amazing, but others are awful right from the package… I buy 2 at a time for the price and hope I can get what I need to produce my product. I’m not perfect using the bandsaw as a newbie, but at this point a year in… I definitely know when it’s a blade a not me. Will I keep buying? Too busy to figure anything else out…. So YES.

USUALLY VERY GOOD
Good blade but sometimes the weld is very noisy.

62" Bandsaw Blade
I installed this on a custom 62" portable bandsaw I made & it cuts very well

Poor fit and teeth destroyed
The gullet of the blade would not fit the center of the wheel on my Ryobi. The back of the blade would press against the thrust bearing if I would try to center the gullet. Thrust bearing was moved back as far as possible and the blade was still pressing firmly against it. I got the 3/8 size for straight cuts. Product is advertised that it fits Ryobi but is doesn't. Tested soft scrap wood and the cuts were not clean. Switched to a hard piece of oak and you could see smoke coming off the work piece. Cut was not clean at all and the teeth of the blade were completely destroyed. You would think hard wood shouldn't be a problem for carbon steel. Totally bummed out about this.

Smooth cuts
I think of this blade as my scrolling blade. It is small enough and cuts smooth enough for some delicate fine cuts. I wish the price was better, but all the blades are somewhat expensive. Because of its small size, I tend to have them break more often than I think should be happening. Maybe its because the teeth get clogged and they overheat or maybe the tension is not right. I can't figure it out. Anyway, it is a good cutting blade.

Not enough teeth
The saw blade is of fine quality, and once dialed in worked great. I was cutting waves into hardwood. This saw blade left very deep saw marks which were a lot of extra work to sand smooth.
