It's a relief to have found a solution to my problem with dark, shadowy photos. The Torjim Softbox Photography Lighting Kit, 16" x 16" is perfect, as I only have one LED ring light and have had many problems with my photos due to a lack of light or shadows. This softbox kit, despite its size, is surprisingly portable and an ideal addition to my small studio. Its compact design allows me to set it up anywhere, solving my problem with photos that are too dark or too light, and saving me time on editing. It is very easy to assemble and use, and it is built with quality materials. The tripod is sturdy and offers three extension modes: 47, 59, and 71 inches. Equipped with an 85W energy-efficient bulb, with an operating temperature range of 3000-7500K. The inclusion of a remote control adds convenience, making it easy to operate and switch the light to the required mode. Top tier quality. The brightness can be overwhelming if used in a closed space but it is truly amazing for photos. It’s light so it’s not much of a hassle.

This is a pretty good, basic LED light and soft box. The stand is made from very thin metal and not good for anything but home use. The remote control works most of the time but, not always. There might be different modes of use that don't activate the remote but, with no real instructions, it's difficult to tell. It seems to work if you turn the light on and off a couple times via the power cord switch but again, there are no instructions so this is just a guess. I like the carrying case because everything fits in it. The case is made from thin material so it's for light duty use only. Overall, this is a good light, stand, light box, etc of the price.

Excellent softbox kit! Bright, even lighting and super easy to set up.

I needed something on a budget that would do the job - and this was it! I got two for either side of my clients room/profile and it worked great. Especially considering the only light prior was from ceiling lights and windows, you don’t consider the shadows these cast on a face until it’s too late😅😂 These have several settings for warm or cool light and you can make the light as bright or soft as you need. Once put in their place, their stability was good, especially for the money, not insane but definitely worthy. I didn’t have to touch them throughout shooting. It was pretty easy to figure out the setup and year down and doesn’t take too much time. The bags are very helpful for carrying and storing everything together. These ones are worth the cost, definitely glad these are the ones I bought.

I have very mixed feelings about this item. I have now had it for a number of months and I seem to use it less and less. It does work and it does create a lighting system that is superior to the ring lights that I have bought. That is the good part. Now for the negative. No matter how hard I tried, I was never able to get the box light into the shape that appears on the picture on Amazon. That did not turn out to be a terrible problem as I found that it really doesn't matter if it's a little bit wrinkled. Still projects a very good warm lighting feature on the face. What I noticed was that this unit is very top-heavy and a number of things started happening that were immensely frustrating. The metal structure that holds the thing together started bending because of the top-heavy weight so now it is just a sad looking thing facing down. The weight of the top part actually bent the pole over a short time. Taking it up and down, essentially collapsing it, which is what you are supposed to do, damaged it over a short time. The legs also started to collapse from the top heavy weight. What I think is going on is that because this unit is so top-heavy, it actually damages the rest of the unit that holds it up. It looks like I'll be taking the financial loss and I am now in the process of trying to find something that does not deteriorate with normal usage. Might want to keep on looking on this one. I cannot recommend this. If you are just going to set it up and leave it without taking it down each time, then this might be okay for you. But if you're going to collapse it after each use, which it is meant to do, then I think you'll be disappointed in the quality of this unit.
