Oggi Clear Canister Set with Clamp Lids (5pc) | Airtight Food Storage Containers

Love these canisters, I've bought 4 sets over a short period of time for various things, main one being Christmas gifts at the office. Easy gift idea in 3 steps: 1. Find out a candy/nut/snack that your jerk coworker, moocher friend, milldly offensive family member, or insanely nosy neighbor likes. 2. Fill the jar with whatever it is and put a bow on that sucker. 3. That's it, don't work too hard. The jars are crystal clear and look great. They seal well and yet the lever to release the lid works incredibly easy. I work with some feeble wristed wimps (old people) and the first thing they all said to me was how easy it was to open and close. Each jar comes with a small spoon for easy portioning that has a loop to attach right on the side. I recently started storing flour and sugar in these as well and they not only keep it fresh and sealed but they look great sitting on my cabinet, no more hiding the ugly tupperware storage containers.

Ideal sizes, good quality, keeps items fresh and good value

These are nice canisters. They do a pretty good job keeping moisture out. I use them to store flour, white cane sugar, brown sugar and granola. As many of you know, brown sugar will quickly harden and solidify in a container that is not tightly sealed. Aside from a few hard pieces smaller than the size of a pea, my brown sugar is in good shape. The canisters are gorgeous and will add character to any kitchen. My only complaint is that when my seven year-old son was helping me remove the canisters out of the box, the acrylic spoon holder snapped right off in his hand. I was watching him at the time and I do not feel as if he was using undue force. Besides, he's seven. I am just a bit concerned that they may not hold up to regular use in light of this. All in all, this was a good purchase at the right price. They have held up well in the last month of use. I deducted one star for the broken spoon holder on one of the canisters. I decided it wasn't worth the energy to send it back, so I cannot speak to my dealings with the company.

Good seal for freshness.

Love using these canisters for dried pasta, brown sugar and especially my coffee! It really keeps the coffee grounds fresh and I like that the canisters are clear so you do not have to guess what is in it. My confess stays fresh and I cut the label from the package so I will know what flavor of coffee I am drinking. The only criticism I have is that when you open the kids be very careful because they are so tight (which is a good thing actually) that you need to put your canisters on a flat surface, hold firmly and open the lid slowly. In careful with my thinks but I noticed the air pressure had to go somewhere and it will pop straight up if you don’t give the air time to release. So, I pop the lever carefully and lift the lid. When I am done, I close the lid down and the brace that secured the lid to the body of the canister does not slide very easily. That’s why you have to be careftwjen you open it. Otherwise, I love thesecanisters and they look good in my pantry. I plan to buy a couple more for some other dry goods and am looking for a good cookie jar for my husband. Any suggestions?

I purchased these "like new" meaning they were probably returned. As stated, they arrived in excellent condition and were brand new! I love them and use them for dog treats. Excellent high quality product and I would recommend.

Two of the containers already have long cracks running down their sides after only 3 months and very light use. My household consists of two adults who are responsible and conscientious and no children, so these containers have not been subjected to any rough treatment. I am dismayed by how thin the material is - really thought they would be thicker and sturdier. I see other reviewers have had the gaskets fail, resulting in an inadequate seal. Crossing my fingers that this does not happen to me. Where I live is quite humid in the summer so I'm concerned that the cracks will allow moisture in and ultimately ruin the contents. I was originally using large Ziploc bags to keep my dry goods airtight, but the bags would eventually tear after being slid over the wooden floor of our cabinets. I purchased these hoping for a more permanent solution. An additional note: the spoons included with each container are cute in that each matches the length of its specific container. However, I don't use most of them so they are just taking up space in my kitchen utensil drawer still in their plastic packaging. While it looks nice to have them resting in their designated slot on the side of the jar, they are pretty much pointless because I almost never need just a spoonful of flour. Besides, the spoons are not a practical size. I was hoping they would be 1 teaspoon or 1 tablespoon, but I measured and they are somewhere between 1.5 and 2 tsp. That isn't helpful at all unless I'm doing something purely by eye or just need a ballpark. At this moment, I give this product 3 stars. The containers do an adequate job and haven't failed on me yet, and are serving their purpose as an improvement over the old gallon bags. They're not great but not terrible either... yet. I will update this review and change the rating if anything changes.

Para quem pode pensar que o preço é salgado, bom lembrar que cada pote vem com uma colher também em plástico ou acrílico. As colheres foram o diferencial para que eu comprasse o conjunto. Também vale lembrar que esses potes são ideais para alimentos SECOS. É imprescindível ler as especificações do produto antes da aquisição. Para mim os potes são perfeitos. Muito satisfeita.

Bueno les platico, estos contenedores yo los compré la primera vez en Estados Unidos y están muy buenos, para el precio están increíbles. Se ven tan lindos que los tengo afuera, sellan super bn. I really like these canisters. The locking mechanism is good quality and sturdy. They are easy to clean, the lid opens up all the way and I like the fact that they're clear....so. you can see what's inside! The spoons that come with it are a bit useless to me. They're too small to be of any use.

I recommend these canisters to anyone who likes to keep their food fresh and their pantry to look pretty.

Good quality acrylic canister set that matches the tall singly sold pasta container that I also bought. I use them to store my most used bulk beans and lentils. Good enough to stay on your counter, and easily hidden in cabinet for storage. The positive seal and clamp means I can put my brown sugars in there without the double plastic bagging I formerly used to prevent moisture loss. Accompanying matching acrylic tablespoon is an added and generous benefit. Great way to display teabags, coffee singles at the coffee station.
