Vinchef 10" & 12" Nonstick Ceramic Frying Pan Set with Lids, 2-Pack

I read a lot of reviews here on Amazon and also online before making my decision to purchase 2 of these Vinchef pans during Prime Days. Everything that I read about this cookware was spot on. I followed the very simple instructions to season them and put them to the test right away. NOTHING sticks to theses pans and clean up is sometimes just a quick wipe out with a paper towel. The pans are lightweight and has a deeper pot wall then other saute pans, making it so much more versatile. Because the induction bottom evenly heats the pan from the center out there is no need to cook on high temperatures. The heat indicator on the handle makes it easy to know when your pan has reached temperature. I will be replacing the rest of my cookware with this brand on the next Prime Day!

My husband and I both love using this skillet. It is deep, honestly non-stick and very easy to clean. It cooks evenly and while very sturdy, is not too heavy. The pour spouts on either side are very convienent Joe uses oil when he cooks and I don't, but both methods work well in this pan. The pan is also nice and deep and keeps the contents in the pan and off of the cooktop. We have had it for 9 months and have had zero problems. I guess we have both reached the age where we wax poetic about cookware. What can I say...this pan makes life a little easier for 2 old farts.

OMG I love this pan. I use this no matter what I cook. It is so easy to use and clean. It holds a lot of food and I don’t need to use any cooking spray since nothing sticks to it. The handle is easy for this 73 year old lady to hold. I don’t use metal utensils so I don’t have to worry about it getting scratched. It heats up well so it doesn’t take long to cook stuff.

Update: still loving this pan! Took it camping recently and used it for everything! So easy to clean and lightweight! It’s held up very well. This pan is really impressive! It’s very light weight, the non stick element is exactly what I wanted/needed, and the handle & lid topper/handle are really great. They look like a high end wood, but are silicone! After washing in warm water & dish soap, I rinsed it, dried it and put a little olive oil in the pan (it needs very little-I put too much even though I thought it was maybe not enough). I used a paper towel to evenly distribute the oil all over the interior surface. I heated it on medium/low for 3 minutes with the oil. I then let it cool and I used paper towels to get out the excess oil. I thought I got all the excess oil out, but I cooked fresh tortillas in it moments later and the first two were oily! By the 3rd the excess oil was fully removed. The cleanup was a cinch! I made the tortillas then made quesadillas. Melted cheese is usually one of the most annoying things to clean, but it came out with just a quick wipe. Hot water rinse & it was dried (a key step in order to protect this pan -like an all iron skillet). Even heating, even on a low flame, easy to clean, light weight, esthetically pleasing, and seriously non-stick! Great buy!

This pen was wonderful when I first bought it, but about two years down the line everything sticks, making it less ideal to cook with I think all of the nonstick is gone. It’s unfortunate that it only lasted for two years and now I need to buy a new pair and yes, I only use rubber spoons and spatulas. On the bright side, I mistakenly left the pan in the oven as I was preheating it. I had soap and water in it to loosen up some chicken that I had made in it into my surprise after being left in a 450° oven for about 15 to 20 minutes there was no melting in sight. I was so relieved and I think that kind of helped the nonstick just a bit somehow go figure kind of like seasoning a cast-iron skillet. By no means am I telling you to season this pan because I don’t think that’s what you’re supposed to do. I’m just saying that I think it helped.

I wasn't sure when I got this pan if the factory thought every single woman who is as old as I am would have a Philips head screwdriver laying around to finish the manufacturing process. But the pan came with the handle unattached. I almost had to stand on the pan to get the handle in the slots and then add the screw. Other than this the pan is fabulous. It is a coated stainless steel. I ordered a 10 inch skillet and it is 10 " across at the top. However, when you take into account the slant of the sides there is only 8" of cooking surface. I have noticed this with some other pans as well. so I am wondering if there is no standardization in measuring these things. I do like the indicator in the handle that lets you know when the pan is hot enough. But this pan would not do for a family meal. I cooked two eggs and 3 brown and serve sausages for myself and my dogs. But it was not large enough for 3 strips of bacon and the two eggs. This pan cooks very nicely and cleans up easily. The non stick surface is on the outside of the pan as well and makes for easy cleanup of that surface as well. The lid came well packaged and overall, I would recommend this pan to a friend who only cooks for one or needs a smaller pan for sauces and gravies, etc. I also like that the pan is deeper and I will be able to deep fry without worrying if I can put enough oil in it to do the job. Just order a few inches larger than what you actually need.

Lookwise was good but the packaging was so bad that I ended up recieving a defective product. Wish the seller gives more effort into packing the product pieces seperately before shipping it off to customers.
