Awesome pack.
Awesome pack. It wouldn't take much to rip the zippers out of the TSA locks with any tool, but they do stop someone sliding your bag open while it's on your back or left for a few minutes. With the cable wrapped around something and locked I felt comfortable leaving it for a short time knowing someone couldn't just walk off with it. Inside it is mainly full size pockets, it could do with a few more smaller shallow pockets as small items will find their way to the bottom of the pack quickly.

Piece of Mind
A well thought-out piece of travel luggage. Well made and just what I need. Looking forward to my first trip abroad knowing that my belongings are protected.

Took this all over when travelling. We walked through France, England, Scotland, Germany, Spain, and Greece with no issues at all. The zipper locks add a wonderful sense of security when walking through unfamiliar places. Absolutely and truly love this backpack. I now use it on a day to day basis in the US when going to a from work.

I like the features but I find the backpack too heavy and too crampy (interior is too small) Still thinking if I should keep it.

This is a well built and comfortable daypack. I bought it sight unseen (though I emailed the manufacturer to send interior pictures and alas never heard back) as a replacement for the previous well used daypack that did double duty as a briefcase, and wanted something a little more secure since I do a fair amount of overseas traveling. It is a bit smaller than what I had before but that is not too much of a problem in terms of schlepping documents inside. Several deep interior zippered pockets but I find that such can end up being black holes that you have to scramble through to find stuff. The less good that I see are as follows: 1. No key fob. Lots of daypacks these days have a sown in tab with clip that you can attach your keys to so you don't have to dig around, which you do here as the pockets are quite deep. The mesh pocket provided does sort of work, but it's better used to put your change in when going through security (or more digging later) if you have a bunch of keys as I do. I plan to stitch in a length of Dyneema line for that purpose. 2. No designated place to put your sunglasses in. There is a pocket that sort of works (same one mentioned above) but it's not deep for sunglasses. Sure one can use the water bottle pouch for that purpose but I've found in other daypacks that sometimes they fall out, an expensive mistake if you wear prescription glasses. 3. The pockets on the outside (rear most) compartments (i.e. inside the smaller zippered compartment) are too small to comfortably fit passport and wallet, phone (again handy for going through security) so you have to use the deep zippered pockets and dig around as things settle My previous pack had a couple of zippered pouches that worked well for that purpose and also had room for checkbooks, and a small place where your earbud cables did not get entangled with everything else. Of, course this can be solved with ziplock bags, but this is an area where the design can meet user needs. 4. The mesh pocket at the rear is nice to stash a book or magazine but it offers limited room to secure a fleece jacket (usually needed when flying, given the absence of blankets these days). 5. There are two clips near the shoulder straps, evidently for a short strap so you can attach the pack to handles of a wheelie bag, but the strap did not come provided. All that said, it is well built, and comfortable to carry. Good padding for your laptop. It's definitely secure but without items 1-3 above I can't give it a 5 star ratings, in terms of practicality, at least not for the price. In terms of overall construction and security, yes. I'd also prefer that the slash proof part was not advertise, which might suggest you really have valuables in your pack. I'm more of a stealth guy.
