Solid Build, Smooth Typing, and Great Value
I’ve been using this keyboard for work for a little while now, and I’m really impressed. The build quality is top-notch, this thing is HEAVY. That might be a con for some, but it gives the keyboard a really solid, sturdy feel. There’s a slight flex, to the board, not the body, but you really have to push to notice it, so the mounting feels secure. The gaskets and switches provide a buttery smooth typing experience with a nice, muted popcorn sound. It reminds me of an old office keyboard, but it’s not too loud. Bluetooth has been flawless, and the battery life seems excellent so far. I also love the little touches like the included cable, the keycap and switch puller, and the fact that the USB dongle can be tucked away into the board, super convenient so you don’t lose it! The only downside is that it doesn’t have adjustable feet, but for me, it’s not an issue. The size and angle are almost identical to my Glorious GMMK Pro, and honestly, this keyboard gives it a run for its money, especially considering it’s way more affordable with no extra work required.

great prebuilt keyboard, specially when on sale
Caught the sale for this cidoo v75 before it went back up to 139. it is a great keyboard even at that price however. It competes handily with the keychron Q1 Pro. The only issue is spotty via support, it does work, however it seems to work best when used in wifi mode. It doesn't seem to matter which driver/keymap you use, whether the 2.4g .json or the USB. I also had some luck using the Cidoo V75 Pro file versus the Plus, as one is for a previous listing of the board and the other is for the kit version with no rgb lighting. Via issues aside, this is a very well built prebuilt, it is massive. As in it will shake your desk if you drop it from an inch on one side. Gaskets seem to be preinstalled from video breakdowns I watched trying to find a new prebuilt for my girlfriends setup. Preinstalled Matte switches are no-name in my opinion but are actually very nice linear switches. Will replace them at some point, one thing to watch for it that the switch legs may be a bit loose or not too tight in tolerance, as a few times when removing keycaps the entire switch came out along with it. It seemed to occur most with the number row. If you can catch this board on another sale like I did at 69 (I really wrestled with buying a second at that price just to have an extra, but I think I'll put that money toward a Paper80 groupbuy) get it without hesitation, particularly if you're looking for an easily matchable case in a neutral color, in a sub-TKL layout, and with a knob. Great keyboard all around, give it 5 stars for the deal alone, at 139 it's a four star board as it does have some corners cut like no alternate colorways and not much in the way of etching or ornamentation in the case back. But if you're like me and just want something that looks great, feels great and particularly types great, then grab one of these epomaker cidoo v75's

An honest surprise.
So I've built quite a few custom keyboards over time, everything from $50 builds all the way to $500. And I stumbled on this keyboard from some youtube reviews so I decided to give it a try, especially considering the low price for an aluminum keyboard. If I can summarize this review with one sentence, it's that this is the first pre-built keyboard I've bought that I genuinely felt I didn't need to mod myself afterwards. Pros: The stabilizers and box switches it came with were actually adequately lubed. The keycaps are actually surprisingly thick (1.7mm according to my caliper) and have a decent pbt texture so I'm actually going to leave them on instead of swapping them out like I usually do. The 2.4GHz receiver was zero hassle, I've had several keyboards in the past that it wasn't reliable and I had to switch to wired mode to use them. The bluetooth also works surprisingly well, there's minimal lag compared to some others that I've tried in the past, but if you're gaming I def recommend the 2.4Ghz mode because it seems to be nearly instantaneous. Good news was I was able to connect it to VIA, I've had others in the past claim they could but could not. And last but not the least, omg the sound typing experience is amazing. It's definitely good if you want a "clacky" experience out of the box, but with some Morandi switches it definitely sounds a lot quieter. Cons: The RGB is alright at best. I think the colors look a little muted compared to those by Keychron. And i wish the V75 came in a larger selection of colors, but at least the one it comes with has a cool retro keyboard feel so there's that at least. If I make anymore mental notes about the keyboard as I continue to use it I'll update my review accordingly.

Best custom Keeb for the money, beats Gmmk Pro and Keychron Q1 Pro. I only wish it had QMK.
This is an exceptional keyboard, and it honestly feels better than keyboards that are significanltly more expensive. I has almost everything you need in a 2023 "enthusiast's" keyboard. The construction is impeccable, it comes with most of the common mods built in, and it has quickly become my favorite in my collection. Everything here feels as if it was designed by an enthusiast who loves premium keyboards. I had to significantly modify my Gmmk Pro to get much of what this has, and it's still not nearly as nice as the V75. The case is especially well designed and built, significantly better than Keychron or Glorious, and the powder coating feels superior to anodized finishes. It feels like one big piece of metal, and has no case ping. Most importantly, it can sound excellent with or without foam. Yes, every piece of foam you could want is already included, but you can take it all out and still have an excellent sound. That takes a lot of design and engineering to do properly, and they did a better job than Keychron or Glorious. The V75 is loaded with almost everything I look for in a custom group buy. It costs less than most quality barebones kits, but includes every piece of foam (1mm insulating case foam, 2mm poron pcb foam with hotswap socket cutouts, switch foam sheet, and plate foam), nice poron gaskets, force break pads designed into the case, a polycarbonate plate with plenty of flex cuts, the proper tools to work on the keyboard, a pcb with cables properly placed for easy removal. Quality, thick screws, and a unique and classy design. Screw-in stabilizers are pre-lubed and feel high quality, with no clicks (I hate tuning stabs, this is incredible). Switches from Kailh and Gateron fit snugly in the plate and don't come out with the keycaps. The included switches are excellent (thocky, smooth, fast, tight tolerances, lubed). Plus the included caps are thick and thocky, with excellent printing. Apple users will appreciate a dedicated Apple mode with proper legends on the keys. The Bluetooth connectivity and range is excellent, you can type from across the room. The 2.4ghz dongle is perfectly stored in the coolest little magnetic compartment, and I don't notice any lag compared to wired mode. A physical switch allows you to enable either wireless mode, and bluetooth reliably connects to 3 seperate devices. If you want a 'true' gasket mount typing experience, you just have to remove the bottom pcb foam with the cutouts, which will allow more bounce and flex with no further modification. Without that foam, it's only very slightly louder, and that can be tuned with a quick masking tape layer on the pcb. The rgb lighting is bright and excellent, and you can also set it to a dim static tone if you like. Although it doesn't have a specific white mode, you can make them solid white by increasing the saturation, while still maintaining your preferred brightness. There are plenty of cool animated rgb light patterns. My only complaint about the lighting is that the cool little light panel next to the knob can't be dimmed, and it also resets it's color every time you turn it on. Fortunately, you can turn that panel off while still using the keyboard lights. VIA programming for remapping keys and making 4 layers works well, but can be imperfect. You need to figure out how to upload the .json: In VIA settings, enable "show design tab". Then in the design tab, enable V2 definitions, and finally load the .json file, which you already downloaded from Epomaker's website. You have to load the .json every time you use VIA. VIA also needs some help with Macros, as it can add too many steps. You can edit the macro codes, and it's a lot easier than you'd think. It's all super-basic QMK commands, and you can quickly google them. Some VIA programming is wierdly limited, especially the knob. The keyboard will only recognize the knob assignments on the first layer. So, if you assign macros to the knob directions on Layer 0, then volume and other keys on layers 1,2,3, the knob will only input the layer 0 macros, even if you're on layer 1,2, or 3. All other assignments on those layers work fine, but that knob only respects layer 0. It will recognize what's on layer 1 (fn layer), but only when you hold the Fn key, even if you program it to toggle to layer 1, you still must hold the Fn key to get the knob to input your intended assignment. This was very frustrating for me, as I use the knob differetly in different apps. Although the VIA programming uses basic QMK coding, it lacks any of the more advanced QMK functions. I couldn't get the Mod-Tap funtion to work, so I can't give one key two functions based on hold or tap. It seems there is no programming for timing, as the Macros don's allow timing at all. There is also no way to assign lighting colors to individual layers or keys. Epomaker support confirmed that this keyboard is not QMK compatible, so there are limitations here that other premium keyboards don't have. Despite the smaller downsides, I highly recommend this keyboard. If you're considering Glorious or Keycron, consider this first. Even if you want to provide your own switches and keycaps, it's one of the best deals you can find on a custom keyboard of such high quality. You get more for your money than any other keyboard I've looked at.

Amazing Keyboard for its price
I just got this keyboard and I'm totally in awe about it. Coming from a Logitech G915 Lightspeed this is a huge uplift in typing and tbh even quality feel. And the "thock"....Did I mention the "thock"? I've watched many many reviews of mechanical keyboards on YouTube before deciding on buying this. I'm glad I did. The overall feel of the keys is great. The RGB works and looks amazing. The keyboard is a very heavy quality feel full aluminum build. And its integration in VIA is great too so u can remap keys as needed. Also totally love the "retro" look of it. I was used to a numpad but tbh I can live without it. Have so much more room on my desk especially for mouse movements. Might later add the separate numpad but not sure yet. So far I don't really miss it that much. For $139 u can't go wrong. I definitely highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking for a 75% keyboard. Actually typing this review on it. The only real disappointment I have is there is no spare switches with it. From all I've seen most keyboards usually come with like 3 to 5 spare switches. Not sure if they were just forgotten to be added or if it just doesn't come with them?

Creamy and Marbly - Recommended
I bought this keyboard for $69.00, and no hype is needed—it has been great in all aspects. The thick keycaps are of excellent quality. The colorway is old school. It sounds marbly and deep. There is no clack. The stabilizers are smooth—no ping. I recommend it for typing more than gaming, but that is only because the board has slight tactility. I do game with it as well. I appreciate that they removed the num pad but kept the DEL and Fn keys. Epomakers are not my go-to option. I typically hate the mushy flex of their gasket mounts. You don't get any of that with this board. I have tried for a couple of years to mod a board to sound the way this one sounds out of the box. I wish the switches were a bit heavier, but besides that personal preference, this keyboard is worth the total price. Bravo! Would recommend.

Well, I'm very surprised!
I had ordered, and was waiting for, A Keychron Q2 Pro (which arrived and I love it). But I was very curious about this keyboard from Epomaker x CIDOO. It was a brand that I hadn't heard of before (I'm not too well versed in mechanical keyboards), but there was just something about the look of the board and the rave reviews that made me want to try it out. Boy, I'm glad I did. First, the build quality is absolutely incredible. The keyboard is heavy and incredibly well built; no sharp edges, no misalignment, and a very solid build. Second, the sound and feel of this keyboard is unlike anything I've tried before. I feel that people spend hours and a ton of money to get other keyboards to sound and feel the way this does right out of the box. I haven't touched the insides of this keyboard in any way. Third, I don't care at all about RGB lighting, but the options on this board are quite pleasing. I cycled through the options and all I can say is that all the effects are very smooth. I can't say too much more about this because I mostly turn them off rather quickly. Fourth, I'm a Mac user and this keyboard works perfectly out of the box. Unlike Keychron, there is no physical switch to change from a Mac/PC style, but it is a key combination (I think its fn+s). Although I am only just now dipping my toes into VIA customization, it seems easy. For many of us (or perhaps many of us Mac users) you need to use Chrome and also download the profile file from the Epomaker site to begin the layout customization. The value, the build quality, the sound/feel, the packaging--all for less than a similarly built Keychron (who was heretofore the leader in quality for value) is a feat worthy of praise. I am writing this review on it and since getting this keyboard I received my Q2, which I also love, but it is sitting beside me not being used.

Great keyboard, shipping issues
The v75 is an excellent premium budget keyboard with 2.4g, bluetooth, and wired mode. The included matte linear switches feel excellent and comes pre-lubed as well. The range of lighting options already on-board the keyboard was impressive, and the construction of the board seems very solid with a alumnium body with okay gasket performance. It also comes with a knob with a click to control the volume by default. However, the software compatibilty with VIA is iffy at best with new profilessometimes not syncing to the keyboard. Also, my biggest gripe with this keyboard was not the keyboard itself but the shipping and handling of the package - I arrived one keyboard with a crushed box with two corners ripping apart (but everything else was new), and another in similar condition but with only one corner ripped apart. I know the keyboard itself was new from the unopened tape but it put a damper on the purchasing experience as my first impression was a crushed board. I would 100% recommend this keyboard to anyone looking to get into the keyboard hobby without the need to build a board (especially with 3 different connectivity options). Also I would re-lube the stabilzers to eliminate the slight rattle I had with mine.

Sounds and feels great out of the box
Very solid and heavy build. Switches sound good. The knob is tactile and feels premium. VIA works easily but you need to download the json file from their website. Although the keyboard is gasket mounted, there is barely any flex, but that's what I prefer anyway.

Solid pre-build keyboard!
I done a few high-end custom mechanical keyboard and mod some pre-build one and no doubt this epomaker cidoo v75 the best for less than 500dhs pre-build full aluminium keyboard. The switches is smooth enough and the stab is perfectly factory tuned.. the sound profile up to my liking. Recommended for people not bother to mod as this one is solid out of the box.
