We have two existing Thomas & Friends sets, and I have already tried combining them to make them more interesting. However, I've been very limited by the lack of straight track and the fact that we have only one switch between the two sets: any branch off this switch is a branch to a dead-end which is not a lot of fun. This track extension kit provides three additional switches, lots of straight track, a raised platform, and more curve pieces than you'll probably ever need. The quality and design is the same as the original sets, so everything is compatible. The accompanying photo show how I was able to add a working branch to our existing sets by adding just one orange switch and three turquoise straight tracks. I didn't even need to use the turquoise curves; I had curves left over from the original sets. And the bucket is still full of more pieces and two more switches and the pl;atform. We can move this to the floor and expand it to fill up the whole room.

Love this product for my Great-Grand-Son to play with. it's very sturdy and easy to assemble in various configurations. However, Would love to see Track master make kit for joining various sets together. such as a package consisting of straight and curved i=pieces of varring lengths. We want to connect different sets together, but can't due to not having the track parts needed to make continuous running. Some of the curved track is made at different turn radius and can't make extra connections properly. Thus, there needs to be a special track connector set, made for connecting numerous sets together for larger layouts.

My child was so excited when Santa brought this toy for him Christmas Day. It is a very great sized track for a beginning track. The amount of times he has taken apart, and put the track back together I am surprised how well it is holding up. With the ease of putting the track together, how childlike the appearance is, and the value of your money. You can't go wrong getting this train set for the Thomas lover in your life.

Bought for grandson for Christmas to use with his Thomas and Friends trains. Track works great and he loves playing with it. Storage box that the track comes in is great when not in use.

Bought these tracks for my son for his birthday. He already has this exact set but fights over with with his brothers. He loves trains and we decided to get him more tracks. They are a hit, there is now enough for all my kids to play with and since we already own this track we know how durable it is. would recommend.

Bought this on sale, and for the price you get a lot of track. This brand is definitely more expensive than the classic wooden sets, but we ended up with a bunch of these tracks and trains for free, so naturally, I had to add on with this expansion pack and build something epic with my son. I’ll be honest: I LOVE building crazy, elaborate track layouts way more than my son likes playing with them. The compatibility is a huge bonus — the classic wooden trains fit on this track perfectly, which means my son can switch back and forth between the battery‑powered trains and his wooden ones without any issues. He loves that the trains move on their own for a few minutes, and then he goes right back to the wooden ones to play independently. The fact that everything works together makes this set absolutely worth it. Great value, tons of track, and endless building possibilities. Five stars.
