A Great Value, A Good Every Day Shoe
I needed a new every-day shoe to beat around town, but didn't want to spend a lot. I usually wear a 10.5 in most shoes, have somewhere between a 3E and 4E wide foot, plus a high instep while also being flat footed. These didn't come in half sizes above 9.5, so I went with the size 11. It fit me 90% well. Not perfect but close. The length was good, the toe box was roomy, my instep was comfortable, however I feel a slight bit of tightness on the sides of my midfoot (I wear these with socks). After 5 to 10 minutes I don't even think about it. Oh, and also there isnt arch support, which is great for my foot shape. These have been my "around-town beaters", and primary gym shoes for a year. I've gone on plenty of walks in these, and have racked up some miles. I am super impressed with them and how they've held up. They've been pretty comfy this whole time with good padding around the ankle, The sole is still going strong, with just the usual wear. Nothing is wearing through on the sole or upper...and all the sewing and glued areas of the shoe remain in good condition. I could get another year out of these shoes easily. I would definitely say buy these. Even if you are unsure, buy them because for the price, as you don't lose much if you don't love them. I've been buying barefoot shoes for a few years, and it's nice to have some cheaper options when compared to the usual popular "name brands". I gotta give Whitin credit for showing me that cheap barefoot shoes are available and punch above their weight. I am very pleased.

Worthwhile Purchase
These shoes are great! Sturdy design while still being lightweight. I love the extra width. Great shoes at a great price.

Great Fit! Better than the Expensive Name Brands
These are exponentially better than the more expensive brands. I exclusively wear bear foot sandals (Luna and Earth runners); but, occasionally I need a pair of shoes. These appear to be better quality than Xero shoes that I have purchased for 3X the price. They are much wider (which I love!). I find Xero shoes to be no wider than a regular shoe. My go to size to order is 11.5 in most shoes; I went with size 12 in these. They are a perfect fit. I have not worn these out. My initial try-on thoughts: Plenty of room for toe splay. I walk with my toes extending up and reaching far on the step-up. These seem to have plenty of room for me. I normally have a big problem with my toes feeling cramped in a short toebox. I feel my foot can move the way it does in my sandals in these shoes. They look pretty sharp. I have had a difficult time merging style and function in the past several years since I went exclusively to bearfoot shoes. These look good! The canvas seems breathable and moveable. They do not have the typical “clown shoe” appearance. I plan to use these for walking on concrete on my visit to cities. I plan to wear the insole, which is very comfortable so far. You will not have full ground feel, there is a bit of cushion, which is what I was looking for. For those reviewers saying they don’t have enough arch support: That is the point of bearfoot shoes. I can not speak to longevity or long term wear. I will date after testing them out for a while. The only reason I give 4 stars, is because I don’t know how well they will hold up to a lot of use. I’m hoping they can last me a summer. I recommend trying these out.

They are okay for the price!
I found these shoes to be okay, because they don't provide a lot of arch support. I won't be wearing them on any long walking activities, but they are okay for around the house and yard.

Buy a pair (or two). You will not regret having them, especially at this price.
The first time I took these babies out for a spin, I had a fellow flipper-footed gent ask me about my exquisite footwear, and I was too happy to gush about my new steppers. They're durable (for the price), and they look great (for the price), and they're nice and cool in Texas summer. Lightweight, sleek, comfortable. I am happy. Plus, it's nice to find an honest Size 13.

Great affordable wide toe box
I bought them for work since they say non-slip. They’re a great cheaper alternative to the Lems that I was using. The toe and heel have a different texture of grip, so I do slip in the kitchen if I put too much weight on my heel, but for everyday use, they’d be fine. I actually may end up getting a pair to use outside of work too since they’re comfy and don’t look bad. They are a little snug if you have an extra wide toe box, but it’s not super noticeable, and the heel fits fine while also providing toe space.

Highly recommend
Lightweight. Great fit. Really like the canvas and how it breaks in for a comfortable shoe.

They’re INTENTIONALLY wide, people.
My usual shoe size: US 11.5-12 (women’s) Ordered: US 11 / EU 45 (men’s), WHITE I just got them, so I can’t comment on long term comfort or durability. But so far, they are very comfortable! I don’t have super wide feet from sole to heel, but I’ve been wanting a little more space in the toe box area for my bunions and wiggle room for my toes (apparently that’s part of why I have bunions. Who’da thunk). These fit great for what I was wanting! It blows my mind how many people gave these a low rating because of how wide they are. THAT’S LITERALLY THE WHOLE ENTIRE POINT. If you aren’t intentionally shopping for “wide toe box” shoes for a good healthy toe splay (google it), then these probably wouldn’t be a good fit for you! 🙂 I personally like the look of the wider, rounded toe. I’m 6’ and have larger feet than the average woman (thanks mom), so I always think sneakers with a narrow toe makes my feet look long and funny. iiii think the width makes them look more proportional to my body and not “clown like” at all. But that’s just my opinion! I would say the canvas color is a true, clean, bright white. The laces and patch on the heel are a bit more cream…which I love! I docked one star for the outer toe area being caved in on both shoes. It was hard to capture in a picture, but they are just smashed in. I’m sure it was an issue with how tightly they were packaged together, and they’ll hopefully loosen up to their original shape with time and wear. I might stuff something in them to speed up the re-shaping process a little. It’s not a huge deal, nor is it a deal breaker…I just think a brand new pair of shoes should arrive good to go and ready to wear! 🙂 All that being said, I would probably purchase them again. Even if they only last me a little while, you get what you pay for and the price was right for me! Hope this helps someone.

Size up compared to what you wear in 'normal' shoes
Bought these for my husband, who is new to barefoot shoes, and he really likes them. He says they are comfortable. I did go up a size for him - he normally wears a 12, but with barefoot shoes I normally go up a size, so I got him 13 (the largest size available), and he says they are perfect.
