Lovely little lyre
I have 3 lyres and this is my favorite so far. It tuned very quickly and easily the same day I got it, and hasn't needed any adjustments over half a note overnight. The sound is rich and pretty. This style of lyre does have the strings closer together than the ones without antlers, but I haven't had any trouble playing this one and prefer the design since you can easily reach all notes from front and back. The pattern on the front and the wood color are also just beautiful! No big logo and exactly as pictured. Very pleased so far. Edit after several months: Still love this thing, it still holds a tune well, but after using several other lyres, I can say that I think this one is tinny sounding in comparison to some. It has gotten worse over time because there is nothing to keep thinner strings from biting through the panel on the bottom. Other lyres I've had have a metal line that bears the brunt of the pressure, keeping the strings on top. Still my favorite one for appearance and reliable tuning, though!

Great for beginners
This instrument is beautiful. The sound quality is excellent, and it fits perfectly in the hands. The case and extra equipment is a wonderful addition, and I really like the beginner's guide. It's very easy to follow. Overall, the instrument is well made and strong, and for the price, it was a fantastic investment.

A very nice instrument
I really like the lyre. Tuning it is not like the violin. You definitely need a lot of patience when first getting it tuned. I still have a couple of strings that tend to be stubborn. Other than the tuning, it sounds wonderful. I am enjoying playing it and look forward to many years with it.

Prettiest lyre
Pros and cons. So beautiful. I love the notes engraved in the wood. The strings are a little close together and the top strings are a little tinny.

Great Lyre
This harp is adorable. My daughter was so happy to receive it for her birthday. It is a practical harp that does work. Tuning is very easy. All you need to tune the Lyra is a tuner app on your phone or a tuner. The case is padded and keeps it safe. The lyre is the perfect size for holding in your lap. It’s much simpler to play than a harp. If you know anything about keys the you’ll pick this up no problem. As long as you take care of it by keeping it in its case it will last you a long time and won’t be damaged. It’s not very versatile. What you see is what you get.

Nicer than I expected!
The lyre is beautiful, prettier and lighter than expected. Because the strings are new, it had to be tuned several times, as new strings stretch until they are well seated. I used an online video on YouTube to tune it by ear, which worked well. I found that as I tuned each string to pitch, if I pressed the string down towards the body to stretch it, it helped a lot to get it set and would then stay in tune. The tuning pegs are quite sensitive and just a little pressure with the supplied tuning key will bring the string to pitch. Overall, a wonderful gift for my wife and the family loves it.

Great, especially for the price
Great for the price, the sound is nice, and tuning after getting used to it isn’t too hard. It’s held up well and it’s a great value.

Perfect Little Lyre
I've wanted one of these for a while, and I will be attending a renaissance Halloween party, and this will be part of my costume. I've really enjoyed learning some songs on it. It takes several times to tune because the strings need to stretch a bit. Like any other string instrument ( I have an play others), you need to be careful tuning it, barely turning the tuning pin changes the pitch. I downloaded the InsTuner app (free download), and it worked perfect. Nice instrument to add to my collection.
