Korky Strongarm Universal Metal Toilet Handle & Lever in Brushed Gold

I love our American Standard toliet, but I hated the cheap plastic shiny silver handle that came with it. I have been looking for a new handle with a finish that matches the brushed bronze of our sink faucets and towel bars. I found this universal handle and I'm so happy. I didn't expect it to be as nice as it is for the price. Like other reviews says, it feels solid and heavy, very stable and has good spring back after the flush. It was so easy to install and adjust it to fit our toilet. I think it truly is universal because of how it is designed. You can adjust two points on the arm. The finish looks great too. I like the color of the brushed brass. It's not too yellow and was a close enough match to the finish of our faucets that it looks natural in our bathroom. It was such a small change but it makes a big difference. Our bathroom looks classier and feels more cohesive.

Got this to replace the Kohler San Souci chrome lever, which is also metal and not bad but I wanted something to match my brushed brass fixtures. This gold color matches well, it is not gaudy and the handle is metal. Install is easy once you realize that the red holding clips can be installed along with the entire assembly "upside down" from how it seems to work, in order to get the plastic flushing lever that attaches to the chain to sit behind the toilet's flushing hardware in the tank. I first tried to install per the directions with the flush lever attached to the bowl and then the long black plastic lever attached to that, and then connect the chain to the black lever, BUT, in the upside down position of that lever, attaching the chain is difficult. I pulled the entire inside assembly off the toilet lever instead and pried the metal clips for the chain into a more open position. Then with the black lever loose, I was able to install the chain all the way up to the closest position to the toilet flushing lever, rather than on the other end by the toilet tank mechanism, and that rectified the loose jangly chain issue inside the tank. I then installed it back on the flushing lever and placed in the red clip to hold it there and was done. So add needle nose pliers to pry the chain connection open to get around the black plastic internal lever piece and you will have an easy time of putting it together. Nice solid flush now. PS: I had to reorder this initially because the first shipped lever had a tiny spot on the front where the brass coating was missing and silver was visible beneath it. It was a tiny tiny spot but I worried it would grow over time, or possibly rust, so I swapped it out for a new lever and that second one was installed and is working great. Recommend for sure, it is as nice as my Delta lever in my other bathroom that cost three times as much.

Have American Standard. Ordered replacement handle recommended through their company. DID NOT FIT!!!! After 10 days of flushing, by pulling up flapper from inside of tank, I lost it!! Was told by American Standard... “There is NO universal fit handle.” So I researched and found this product. While reading reviews, one person wrote they had American Standard with no numbers in the tank. My AHH-HAA moment!!! Mine didn’t have numbers either!!! So I ordered it and the install was as easy as advertised!!! It looks beautiful and matches the bathroom fixtures perfectly. QUALITY!!! From the crappie plastic one that came with the tank.... to this new installed handle.... sturdy , spring loaded so it comes back up on it’s own, elegant finish and color.... the decision is easy. BUY IT!!! I would rate 10 STARS if possible!!!

Very clever design. User friendly installation for a simpleton like me! Looks much better than our stick flusher so it made dealing with a broken one worth while to upgrade to this pretty thing!

The old flush handle had seen better days. My wife picked this item based on quality, price, function, looks and reviews. I ordered and it came the next day. Easy and intuitive instructions made installation a breeze. This works perfectly. So perfect, I ordered another one another bathroom toilet that was not up to par. Thanks again for a great product.

Product feels sturdy and looks classy. Instructions were provided, and the install was very easy. A novice could easily install this without help. However, the fit is a little wobbly. It feels like a doorknob that is coming loose. I am going to put a rubber washer immediately between where the nut tightens against the inside of the tank. Hopefully this helps, otherwise I may have to return. I cannot stand a handle that wobbles every time I flush.

16mm square hole fit, for flapper flush mechanisms. Very customisable, using simple plastic clips to secure in place. Extremely well made and simple to fit. Not many alternatives in the UK. Would definitely recommend!

A neat and good quality product but it’s smaller than I imagined and definitely needs to be supplied with a chain! Points off for that!

Don't bother with this product. It looks lovely on but functionally is rubbish. The only thing holding it in place is a tiny red plastic clip that definitely doesn't do the job. Its come off as many times as days it has been installed. Poor design, steer clear
