I don’t know how I ever lived without this vacuum. The Roomie Tec SlimVac is incredibly easy to use and has made cleaning my thinner area rugs—and pretty much everywhere else—so much simpler. The suction power is impressive for such a lightweight cordless vacuum, and the 2200mAh battery gives me plenty of time to get through my whole space without rushing. I also love how smoothly it glides and how convenient the handheld option is for quick cleanups. It’s become one of my favorite household tools. I absolutely love it.

This is a great vacuum cleaner. It has headlights and will run for over twenty minutes on a full charge. The main thing that I like is that it has a charging stand and does not have to be hanging from a wall. The detachable hand vacuum is easy to use and simple to empty and clean.

2nd purchase of this item, vacuums really well and the low- profile fits under furniture/cabinets. Original lasted almost four years before light stopped working & battery would not charge fully (battery can't be replaced). This newer model offers a "no tangled hair" brush, pickup is better, although it seems a bit louder. Unfortunately, the light stopped working while vacuuming after four uses. Customer Service was very helpful answering questions with the first one. Hoping they will replace/repair this one as problem started just days past return window to Amazon.

We visited a friend for a few days and she showed us the vacuum that she was using. Her daughter had recommended it to her. It was very lightweight, easy to move around, and no cord to trip over. We then went home and bought one for ourselves. It is amazing!! I can't believe we used our old clunky vacuum for so long! The new vacuum is very lightweight, and all the pieces snap together in a very easy and logical way. The suction compartment can even be popped off and used as a hand piece all by itself!! This product is a dream! I love cleaning my floors now, it's not a hassle and is actually fun to get it done so fast. It has a very simple charging station, easy to plug in and take out. I plan on recommending this to everyone, especially a great gift for newlyweds. I find the price very fair. (I saw some other vacuums included steam or wet clean function, but I think trying to cram so many functions into one piece will just make it riskier to breakdown or have a malfunction.) I still like to use my Swiffer to do a wet clean once a week, especially in the bathroom and kitchen, and then after it dries, use the Roomie Vacuum. Just like my friend, I can now vacuum everyday if I want, as there is no longer the hassle to pull out the old vacuum with a huge canister, and no cord to trip over.

I have had 4-5 of these vacuums over the years. They have repeatedly replaced them when they've failed under warranty, which I appreciate, but the last time I had to pay to ship it back to them and then the new on they sent me quit working within 6 weeks - same problems as the last 2 I had. Some wiring short causes the light and brush roll to quit working. If these worked as designed they would be a dream, I have recommended them to so many people, but I'm done with it. Seems like the quality has just gotten worse and worse. OLD REVIEW: This is a handy little vacuum and I would definitely recommend it. I was on the fence, since our corded vacuum is perfectly fine, but this has changed my life! It's extremely lightweight, the swivel action is SO easy to navigate around furniture, the suction is decent and the battery life is great. I especially love that the battery automatically stops charging when it's reached capacity so that it doesn't burn out; every other plug in Dustbuster or vacuum we've had ends up barely holding a charge when they are plugged in charging 24/7 for too long. My house is 2500 sq ft and has dark wood floors constantly left dirty by 3 cats, 1 dog, 2 kids, and a husband. We have a nice Oreck for deep cleaning, but I pretty much only pull that out once every week or two and use this stick vacuum every day or every other day in between. I can easily do a quick sweep of the entire house on a single charge and still have life left. It doesn't pick up everything - it does great with hair and cat litter and crumbs, not so great with big things like cheerios. It works well when level with the ground, but if it's not hovering right over something it can't suck it up, so like if one side of it runs up on the edge of a rug or something else not level, it won't do a good job. Initially I had only given 4 stars because I was having a hard time squeezing my fingers into this little crevice to clean out the hair and gunk that got stuck in part of the filter. After I posted my review, I got an e-mail from the company explaining how to simply twist the red part to separate it and making removing any stuck debris a breeze! MIND BLOWN. I had no idea it came apart and I'm so glad they company contacted me to give me this tip. Get yourself one of these - it's a great investment and totally saves my sanity for less than $100.

I really wanted to love this vacuum. And for the first month or so, I did. I showed anyone who would glance my way my super cool vacuum. But it's not so good now and I rarely use it because of its issues. It's losing its ability to actually pick up dirt and, in my case, litter. It has suction still, but for whatever reason everything just ends up spinning in the tube thing leading up to the dirt chamber. It'll appear to be vacuuming perfectly fine, and then I turn it off and pick it up to empty out and return it to its charger, and everything that I just vacuumed out falls on the floor. I really don't understand what the problem is, but of course this issue started just after I left the service and return time window. I clean out the dirt chamber after every use and the hand held vacuum still works fine, so I'm out of ideas. Pros: -Super light weight -The LED lights are incredibly cool and it makes ignoring all of the cat hair on the floor impossible -The rotating head is very satisfying to use and makes the job comfortable and fast -I like the bumpers because I would definitely damage my base boards otherwise. You can use a broom for edges and corners, like you're supposed to -2-in-1 thing is awesome, vacuuming the couch as never been easier -I've only ever run out of battery with this once, and that's because I hadn't put it back on the charger properly last time. Cons: -My vacuum won't bring anything up to the dirt chamber anymore. All of the dirt and litter that I just tried to pick up falls out on to the floor as soon as I turn off the vacuum -It can be a little difficult to get the vacuum onto the charger properly. That's much more of an inconvenience though than a problem -It started having issues as soon as I could no longer return it or get help from the seller for it In summary - I loved this vacuum. Loved, as in used to and no longer do. I think I'm better off coughing up the money and just getting a name brand cordless vacuum.

I have a very large open concept living/kitchen/entry & hall that is all hardwood – I also have a Shepard so I have to vacuum hair every day. I had been using the Shark Vacmop which I really like as it picks up great but the replacement pads were getting pricey. With as much vacuum as I was doing, I have to change the pads out daily. When I purchased the Roomie Tech cordless vacuum, I did so to still have the convenience of a cordless while hoping it would do the daily job as easily as the Shark Vacmop. Initially I was very disappointed; When I first received this I had to leave for a long trip so wasn't able to unbox it until I returned home - by this point it was past the Amazon return policy. Out of the box this was obliviously a return and looked like it had been well used. I charged it hoping it would work but it would not even pick up dog hair. I posted a review for the seller and they responded right away and sent me a new one, kudos for the Roomie Tech co for responding & taking care of this issue for me. I received the new one today (new out of the box this time) and I have to say I was impressed. Because it had been awhile since I purchased this item and I had never used this product before I didn't know the first one I received wasn't functioning properly (no lights & no power to the floor brush) and I didn't know it was missing an attachment. After using the new one I realized this actually works very well for my needs and was exactly what I was looking for. Only time will tell how long it lasts but so far so go & with the Shark Vacmop being only slightly cheaper but having to pay so much for the replacement pads in the long run this will definitely save me money.

Buy this vacuum! We just added 4 kittens to our household. There’s hair and cat litter everywhere. I clean everyday. This vacuum is so light, convenient and powerful. The removable hand held with the additional brush attachment is great. Easy to use, easy to charge and easy to clean. I would give it 10 stars if I could!

I am very impressed with this little device. I am replacing a Bosch battery vacuum due to the lack of battery power so I looked at newer models of battery powered vacuums. This stood out on all the good reviews it had received. Had this a month scan safely add to the good reviews and I am very critical of vacuums and loath many of the problems they so needlessly produce by lack of thought for the user. Reasons to buy this. Its cheaper but not in product quality. It has excellent suction. It is very light. It is easy to put away on the stand and it does that it bloody stands up!! haleluah. How hard is that Bosch designers !!! It is so easy to make into a hand held so I can now, while it is still running, click off the unit to a hand held and suck round the window sills for the dead flies!! or spiders that think they can live in my house. Not any more!!! It is so easy to empty and put back together. The G tech is crap in comparison as everything is down on the floor this doesn't need you to bend down at all it is all at waist height and where does all this dirt and fluff come from it finds it is truly amazing, no big fuss about cleaning anymore just pick it up and clean it up. To all young mums please train your boys to do this job so a) it normalises men hoovering after themselves and b) if they become designers of vacuums they know what they are supposed to do, vacuum, stand up, and be emptied and put back together without getting the crap all over the user!!

It has 2 settings for speed, which is great for floors and then switch up for carpet. It has lights all along the front with is perfect to see all the dirt! LOL It is sooo light, love it. The attachment works great!! Handheld is easy to disengage and re-engage. Battery has good length. Don't put it on the charger until it needs to go on!
