Sonos PLAY: 3 HiFi Speaker System Wireless

As usual, this a great product from Sonos - I have had this stuff in my house for about 7 years now and its fantastic quality and this unit is no exception. what WAS disappointing was that this unit was supplied with a European power lead (2 pin). I've checked and i can't see anywhere in the description where it states this and i would have expected something supplied by amazon.co.uk to have a power lead fit for use in the uk? aside from this issue, we are v pleased with this unit (we had another power lead in the house from an old printer that we were able to swap in) and i would recommend it.

What's not to like (ok maybe it could be a little cheaper) Very easy to set up, small and unobtrusive and hooked up to a music subscription service of your choice just brilliant - works well with Spotify. I have the Play 3 in my study and it's plenty big for that. We have a Play 5 downstairs in bigger rooms. There is a difference in sound quality - the Play 5, to me at least, is a little warmer and deeper but the Play 3 is still a very, very nice bookshelf speaker.

Fantastic sounding bookshelf speakers. Impeccable build quality, they have a real nice weight to them. The sound quality sounds “expensive”, this may seem ridiculous, but it’s awesomely warm and well rounded sound. Highly recommended!

Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't - the speakers interrupt tracks right in the middle to skip to the next one. I'd look elsewhere if I were shopping around again.

Gekauft, schnell geliefert, in 2 Minuten angeschlossen -> fertig. Besitze den Connect für das Wohnzimmer und das Streamen von Musik funktioniert hier sehr sehr gut zu meiner Überraschung. Meine Anlage im Wohnzimmer ist komplett auf Stereo ausgerichtet, mit CDP Vor/Endstufe etc. und HighEnd Laustprechern. Eigentlich höre ich CDs und LPs über mein Wohnzimmer System, ich wollte aber das "Streamen" unbedingt einmal ausprobieren. Der einfache Grund -> Es kostet nur 10 EUR im Monat (Wimp/Spotify) - dafür habe ich aber die Möglichkeit bzw. den großen Vorteil Alben bekannter sowie unbekannter Künstler schnell und unkompliziert "vorzuhören" bevor ich mir eine CD/LP kaufen. Diesen in meinen Augen sehr großen Vorteil möchte ich nicht mehr missen. Vor allem ist die Bedienung recht einfach über das Tablet/Handy etc. gestaltet. Meine Ohren sind sehr gut und das schöne ist aber das ich überhaupt keine Unterschiede zwischen meinen 3000 EUR CDP vs. Stream hören kann. Mehr möchte ich auf dieses Thema nicht eingehen - nur soviel ich war positiv vom "streaming" überrascht und werde es weiterhin für meine Bedürfnisse nutzen. Den Play 3 habe ich mir nun für das Schlafzimmer bestellt - hierüber höre ich am Abend hauptsächlich meine Podcasts etc., dafür eignet sich dieser kleine "Brüllwürfel" recht gut. Musik kommt natürlich auch raus - aber ganz ehrlich man sollte hier keine Wunder erwarten. Für einen Radiowecker reicht es allermal doch mit HiFi hat das natürlich wenig zu tun. Aufgefallen ist mir aber das der DSP doch sehr Bassbetont ist soweit man diesen hier zuschaltet (Loudness). Gefällt mir persönlich gar nicht so recht das "gewummere" im Eck meines Schlafzimmers. Habe zwar Laudness nun an aber dafür habe ich den Bass auf 1/10 runtergeregelt. Bei Podcasts kommen die Stimmer sehr gut rüber! Möchte man ein Mittagsschläfchen machen so ist dieser Laupsrecher auch sehr gut für eine leise Hinergrundbeschallung zu missbrauchen. Den Play 5 habe ich aus dem einfachen Grund nicht gekauft da mir dieser für meine Bedürfnisse keine großen Vorteile bietet - auch ist mir dieser für diesen Preis einfach zu teuer und zu groß. Der Play 3 passt wunderbar überall hin. Denke ich werde mir irgendwann noch ein/zwei Play 3 für die Küche und das Bad leisten. Obwohl ich aber das nur zähneknirschend machen werde. Bei ~1000 EUR für drei Minilautsprecher kann man schon deutlich ! bessere Stereolautsprecher kaufen, vor allem gebrauchte. Im Endeffekt muss jeder für sich entscheiden wie er Musik hören oder genießen möchte. Ein Stereosystem würde ich auf Basis des Play 3 bzw. Play 5 niemals aufbauen wollen. Aber meine Ansprüche an Musik unterscheiden sich hier wahrscheinlich deutlich von dem "Normalohörer". Zusammenfassend möchte ich nochmal betonen das Sonos ein sehr einfaches und vor allem funktionierendes System geschaffen hat. Qualität stimmt! Die Bedienung ist einwandfrei (sollte aber durch Updates weiterhin verbessert werden).

Tout a déjà été dit au sujet des enceintes Sonos. C'est un pur bonheur de les configurer et l'utilisation au quotidien fait l'unanimité. La Play 3 est venue compléter la série déjà présente à notre domicile et sa puissance est très bien adaptée à une pièce de 30 m2.

Teniendo en cuenta que compras un altavoz (o sistema de altavoces) que es inalámbrico (por ethernet también se pueden conectar si el wifi no llega) y que no es autónomo (no tienen batería y por tanto deben estar enchufados), me parece una solución magnífica para instalar en muchos sitios. Se configura en nada de tiempo y lo hace prácticamente solo. te permite escuchar música streaming de diferentes sitios de internet (con o sin suscripción, depende el sitio) y toda la música que tengas en tus dispositivos, ordenador o NAS. La calidad de sonido se nota nada más probarlo. El sistema de medición de ruido de la habitación me parece un punto excelente. Llevo dos días con el sistema en casa y estoy encantado.

Come dimensioni, potenza e prezzo si colloca tra il play 1 e play 5. Nel caso non lo conosceste, Sonos è un sistema che permette di portare musica in più stanze delle casa tramite wifi. L'installazione del primo speaker è semplicissima è molto ben guidata, possiamo procedere da cellulare o tablet attraverso l'apposita app o da PC o Mac via web. Una volta collegato lo speaker alla corrente e avviata la procedura ci verrà chiesto di connetterlo alla nostra rete via wifi o via cavo (in dotazione nella confezione). ATTENZIONE: una volta era necessario avere almeno uno speaker collegato al nostro modem via cavo e/o il costoso bridge, attualmente ciò non è più necessario, io ho installato tutto esclusivamente wireless. In seguito ci verrà chiesto di specificare in quale stanza utilizziamo la cassa e (almeno nel mio caso da dispositivo mobile) di tararlo per la stanza camminando con il microfono attivato attorno ad essa mentre lo speaker emette dei forti suoni. Eseguiti questi pochi passaggi il dispositivo è pronto all'utilizzo, rimarrà sempre acceso e potremo far partire la musica con il tasto play sopra esso (in qual caso riprenderà la produzione dell'ultima playlist o stazione radio) o dalla app / via web. Attraverso la cassa possiamo riprodurre la musica presente nei nostri dispositivi, ma soprattutto collegare al nostro sistema Sonos i principali servizi di streaming, come Spotify e Apple Music. Possiamo inoltre ascoltare le stazioni radio attraverso TuneIn. Il suono è eccellente e può raggiungere volumi molto alti senza distorsioni. Concludendo la qualità costruttiva e sonora dei prodotti Sonos è al top, ma se siete interessati all'acquisto di una singola cassa o playbar spendendo molto meno sono presenti sul mercato soluzioni altrettanto valide. Il vero punto di forza è il sistema che il produttore ci permette di creare all'interno della nostra abitazione e la semplicità con il quale possiamo gestirlo. Quindi diventa un acquisto molto consigliato nel momento in cui vogliate investire in due o più prodotti della linea Sonos.

Provato assieme a play5 e jam Symphony. L'idea iniziale era x2 jam vs una play3... E poi non ho resistito per testare la play5. Devo dire che le due jam anche assieme non tengono il confronto con sonos. Oltretutto la app sonos è decisamente più curata. La 3 costa la metà della 5 ma devo dire che la preferisco. Molto più diretta e "in faccia" come suono rispetto alla 5, che invece trovo molto indietro di medi pur restituendo più dettagli, oltre ai bassi che fanno invidia ad un sub (davvero, tremano i muri a volumi medi). Il suono però è timbricamente troppo indietro e rilassato per i miei gusti. Quindi costo/godimento la 3 per me è lo sweet spot. La 5 la vedo bene per riempire la stanza e usarla come parte di un home Theatre (dove per capirci la 3 farebbe da centrale perfettamente per la sua timbrica più focalizzata). Terrò la 3 quindi per uso musicale specialmente per la sua attitudine a musica aggressiva
