Get it while the price is what it is
This is a pricey iron, but it’s worth the money that you pay. I only use Rowenta irons, and when I came across this particular one it’s the best iron I’ve ever used. It’s almost as if you had your own professional dry cleaning in your home when it comes to ironing the steam never stops it never drips and it is flawless. Plus it is cut down my ironing time in half.

A must have. Even if you hate ironing you will love this one.
I love this iron so much that this is my second one I have purchased. I iron everything so quickly that I have inspired numerous others to buy one as well. I have one in my sewing room and one in my laundry room. Great value for the money. It is a workhorse that will last forever if you take care of it. It is easy to use and a must have. You will want to iron everything!

Good steam station for professional sewist (iron is on 3-4 hours a day at a minimum)
I have bought several steam stations (Reliable $899, this Rowenta prof steam station, in 1999 owned a Delonghi steam station which is very similar to this Rowenta one). I have a professional sewing business and my iron is on for hours. I love the cork handle which reduces stress on the wrist and love a heavy iron. Those home irons just does not do the job. The steamer on this works very well. Heats up fast and works remarkably well. Water capacity is good, however the water does evaporate after turning off and I go through jugs and jugs of distilled water. If you want a steam station with good water capacity, fast heating, ergonomic and weight, this is for you. Cost is inline with the product. My Reliable was very pricey and it broke down in less than one year. I ALWAYS purchase the warranty (3-4 years) depending on cost due to the usage of the appliance and cost to repair. I was able to return the Reliable and purchased this one. It has broken down on me once and I sent it in for repair (covered under warranty) and it was fixed within 3-4 days and the sole plate was cleaner than ever! I have to admit that I do not clean it out as instructed and had to do a extensive clean recently (have had it for 2+ years now). I use distilled water only to reduce the mineral calcification. However, I had issues trying to figure out why brown water was still coming out after a thorough clean of the boiler. As it turned out, there was calcification on the sole plate which I cleaned with baking sode and water (paste) and also wiped with vinegar. Then I turned the iron on hot and sprayed distilled water on it to clean everything out. it took a while before the brown discharge went away. Needless to say, i will now clean it monthly! Good buy from a seasoned iron user and have bought several professional grade irons.

I have support this company over 25 years not no more.
If you could do 0 star I would. I purchase this iron in September 2024. It stopped working by putting out lots on water as you iron. It only work for ten months after purchased. This iron was purchased from my daughter account who is disabled. It was purchased to make her life a littler easier. The ironing of her clothes takes a long time with the regular iron. I am her legal guardian and also the conservator over her money. To pay over 400 dollar for an iron to most people is unreasonable. But as a caregiver your time is crucial. If you can save time, the extra time is very important to use to take care of your love one. I have contact Rowenta about this problem, They act as if it no big deal. It is a big deal because It not their money. They send a return label to fix it. It was returned to me damaged and I don't believe it is the same iron I send them. What I send them didn't have any cosmetic damage to it. What was return to me did have damaged too it. Being that I have to answer to the Court every year to justify her spending. If the company doesn't do the right thing. I will let the court handle this matter. By the way some of Rowenta customers service are very rude on the phone. Attend is picture of the iron that was send to me after they said they fixed it. If they do the right thing. I will do a follow up email. Today is July 22, 2025 and I still don't have a work iron that I can fill comfortably using.

Best Home Steam Iron you can get
I recently purchased the Rowenta steam iron, and it has been a game-changer for my laundry routine! The iron glides smoothly over fabrics, and the steam function effortlessly removes wrinkles and creases. I've used it on delicate silks and heavy denims, and it's performed flawlessly. The iron's design is sleek and ergonomic, making it comfortable to hold and maneuver. Plus, the water tank is easy to fill and lasts for a decent number of uses. Overall, I'm thoroughly impressed with the Rowenta steam iron - it's a worthwhile investment for anyone seeking a high-quality and efficient ironing experience!

Nice steam iron. Quality control needs to be better. Fast heat up and a lot of steam.
Took two tries to get one that worked. First one did not turn off steam flow completely so leaking water when steam cooled down in iron when returned to cradle. Second one is still working after couple months. Nice heavy duty steam iron. Hope it lasts as long as the Rowenta it is replacing, 10 plus years.

Power and Steam!
I'm replacing a used Rowenta power station that I got from Goodwill. After suggestions from my friends to get a gravity or Euro iron, I purchased and then returned both. They were too fussy to use. This new Rowenta is perfect! It holds a lot of water and heats up fast. It has a nice weight to it but, isn't too heavy for this 60+ years old lady. I'm a quilter and seamstress that sews almost every day and this iron works well for these crafts.

No me gustó
En febrero compré esta plancha y ahora ya se me descompuso, la verdad así no vale la pena porque es mucho lo que se paga para que en 7 meses la tenga que llevar a componer y lo peor es que no hay garantía.🫤

Came with unusable plug
The product was delivered with a US plug despite being sold on Amazon UK, and nothing about this being mentioned in the description. The representative at Rowenta customer services was rude and told me he had no idea why.

Recommend with no reservations.
I dithered for days, before buying because of the price and because I was looking for Tefal models, which my sisters in Germany own and which are not available in Canada, and I am entirely happy— A big plus is the ability to release the steam blast at will, after positioning the iron where it is wanted- a great perk for sewers . Also the steam cord is generously long and does not tangle, unlike that of the Tefal. I tackled a huge basket of very crumpled clothing dating back to August, and finished all easily and very quickly! Yuhuh:)

Worth Every Penny
This iron deserves 100 stars. I genuinely cannot say enough good things about it. As a humble housewife, this has completely transformed ironing from a chore into something almost enjoyable. It glides effortlessly, cuts my ironing time in half, and leaves clothes looking far better than my previous top-of-the-line traditional iron ever did. Absolutely worth every penny. Ironically, it was a Mother’s Day gift — but it turned out to be one of the best gifts I’ve ever received. 🤩
