Overall very nice
Overall I like the jacket quite alot. Nice high collar to keep the wind off your neck, great for boating! Light weight and a nice long length,. It is too tight along the shoulderblades which would be problematic for active wear, especially with any thick shirt underneath.

functional and cute
Fit - I wear a size six in dresses and ordered a large to accommodate winter clothes that may be worn underneath. However, I would probably be fine with a medium because even with a fleece jacket underneath there is plenty of room.Fabric - it's a nice rain jacket but I sure wish there was lining or the option of a zip out liner. The interior actually feels a little sticky if you're not wearing sleeves. It also provides little warmth.Durability - it keeps me dry in the rain and that's what I bought it for (I live in Albania which has quite a rainy season) - so far so good!Overall: Like. I like the functionality and style, but only for the rain protection, not for warmth.

Good value for maternity coat
I am a small normally, but I bought a medTo accommodate a growing baby bump. This is just a shell jacket, no warmth, but that's what I wanted for the spring and summer. I wore it today it today in the rain and it was breathable and kept me dry. The belt is flattering when pregnant. I'm holding off on a 5 star review bc I feel like the black looks a little like a trash bag, but for the price and function, I'll get over it

Love this jacket!
I took this jacket with me to Scotland and the Lake District and it was terrific! It was comfortable and kept me dry even in blowing rain which we had almost every day. The only complaint is that the zipper tends to get caught on the liner, making it difficult to close or open it at times. This is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. I eventually learned how to pull the liner out of the zipper and still think it was worth the price. It's very lightweight and and can be rolled up and stored in a backpack when you don't need it.

What I want for traveling abroad
I ordered this jacket in a small but it is still too large, so I returned it and will re-order it in an extra small. I am going to the U.K. and wanted something along the lines of a wind breaker/rain jacket and this fits the bill. I wanted something with some style and fit and yet practical and functional and this is it. The belt provides a touch of dressiness. It is light weight enough to be compacted into my backpack. I was also looking for a longer jacket. The longer length will better help keep me dry and comfortable if the weather turns rainy and cold and it is roomy enough to wear a few layers underneath for added warmth. And I like the roll-up tuck-away type hood - when you get wet weather such as they have in the U.K. you really need a hood. I also like the zippered deep pockets although I wish I could find a jacket with "smart zippers" which fasten to clips to make them harder for pickpockets to steal things. And I wish it had secure pockets on the inside. With all the petty theft that goes on, I consider such security measures invaluable. I wish more manufacturers were designing with this in mind.

Meh, but it'll keep the rain off okay
This is a sort of crappy jacket, I'm sorry to say. It's thin and plastic-ey and loud and completely unlined. HOWEVER, if you're looking for something that isn't bulky to stash somewhere for unexpected showers, it's got good points. It won't roll up as small as those carry-with-you emergency ponchos or coats, but it's thicker and more tailored than those. It's got good coverage, too. It's not warm, though, keep that in mind.I believe it was a little large in my normal size.

Loved This Jacket But Had to Return It
When the size Large jacket arrived, I was so excited. it was exactly what I wanted! Except across the chest: it was slightly snug, especially if someone were going to put a layer or two of clothing underneath it. I tried it on with only a t-shirt and felt that I needed a bit more looseness in the chest area. I'm short but chesty. When I contacted the seller, they very nicely let me know that they bought these Charles River rain jackets in a liquidation sale and unfortunately didn't have anything bigger than a size L. I really wanted an XL, but ended up returning the jacket without being able to get a replacement. I am truly sorry -- this is a wonderful rain jacket and the styling is terrific!!

Practical affordable solution for rainy days
This is not haute couture, so don't expect it to feel like it cost $500. If you are looking for a practical, not ugly solution for some rainy days outdoors, then this is the jacket. Bought it for a trip to London and I wore it for 4 days straight, instead of carrying an umbrella. I stayed dry and warm. For days that are over 60 degrees I would not recommend wearing a heavy sweater, just a light knit or long sleeve T. Layering underneath is key to staying warm (or cool). The belt it came with is ugly so I used a trendy elastic D-ring belt to jazz it up a bit. Oh and a tip on getting the crinkles out after you get it in the mail: either use one of those handheld garment steamers OR steam iron it by laying a very damp almost wet towel over it, use a medium heat and iron the creases out.
