May be good or bad for you+/- Apparently requires more maintenance than other pedals- Paint/dye is okay. Already starting to chip/scrape off after six months. (still looks really nice though)- The audible "click" when clipping shoes is not that loud.I mainly use this for my commute to work. I have two legs for my commute: from home to the station and from the station to work. This is roughly 10 miles long. Pedals work well with my hybrid road bike set up.

These are my second set of Crank Brothers. The first were some cheap things, lower than the Candy 1, which came on the bike. But I liked the design so much when I finally destroyed those I decided to get the 3's. I have no problems getting in or out quickly. The materials feel pretty good. Never had a problem with mud or other debris using this system. I've also used SPD and find I prefer these. They do come with a little maintenance schedule. The maintenance is pretty simple, and you can find instructions online or on youtube. I also like the ability to rebuild these or upgrade parts.

These pedals work great, easy to clip in and easy to get out when you want(you can change it so that it is harder to get out). but one con to the pedal is they don't look to good after a few rides. The stainless steel parts(where the 3 and grandmother logos are) get rubbed on and rubbed the 3 of on my pedals. Also the middle of the spring has gotten marks where it is silver. But it's better to have a good pedal than a good looking pedal.

These work well. There is no functional issues. My problem is that I have very large feet and I use these on my commute with a softer sole cycling shoe and I can feel the lack of a platform. So, not a problem with the pedal, I'm sure a stiffer shoe would rectify the problem,

The pedals and packaging appeared to be brand new but somehow got two left pedals. I returned these and bought the same pedals at REI, they are more expensive but I needed them right away for my weekend adventure. I use them on my hard tail mountain bike and CX bike. These are my first clip less pedals and it didn't take long to get used to them.

This is the second pair of Crank Brothers I have bought. The best pedals ever. Only one thing you need to keep in mind, You will need to give them good maintenance at least every 6 months so the bearings will last alot and you dont have the need to replace the bearing. That will cost you $19.99.

So far so good. I was looking for a mid-range pedal for my cyclocross bike, something that sheds mud quickly, and after 8 weeks of use I have no complaints with these, as they seem very durable. Very quick and easy to clip in and out.I'll add updates with more use as the season goes on.

Nice upgrade from Shimano SPDs. I've been using Shimano clips pedals for years, but they finally wore-out. This time I wanted to go with something I can rebuild vs. replace, so I got the Candy 3.So far I've been using them for about 300 miles. They're definitely a different feel when clipping in, as others have noted. To me they clip in more smoothly. They provide great float and are easy to get out of.I'll update if anything changes.

Compré estos pedales para mi bici de ciclocross y hasta el momento me han encantado. Por el momento no me ha tocado usarlos en lodo pero en ambientes urbanos y terracería no he tenido problemas.

Son mis primeras calas, las uso para MTB y me han gustado mucho, me sentia un poco insegura de usar Calas por miedo a caerme y eso pero n he tenido problemas al usarlas, la instalación ha sido fácil y su uso también
