New Balance Men's 574 V1 Varsity Sneaker

Awesome sneaker, my second pair since high school.There is no arch support and the sole near the arch is cut very narrow, so those who are flatfooted, like myself, feel their feet move inward.The sole is rock solid, which is why my doc recommended them to me to wear while I rehabbed my ankle injury. Lo and behold, my ankle is amazing now and very sturdy. I do thank these shoes for this because I have had ankle problems for years until wearing these.Like my Nike Air Force Ones, however, you will wear out the inner sole way before the outer sole. Also, the front, outer sole, wears out before the heel, so your foot winds up aiming downward as you walk after having worn the shoes for about a year. It's fine though because it is recommended that you buy new shoes/sneakers every 6 months to 1 year.The other con is that the shoes ARE very, very slippery on any surface that isn't absolutely dry, so keep that in mind.Other than that, they are solid shoes that support your feet and body well!UPDATE 7/6/2016 - Nearly a year after purchase (7/26/2015):The shoe fits just as it did when new. The fabric has stretched, overall in a good way; The vamp has widened all around, giving just slightly more room around the toes and midfoot (feels good, more breathing room since the shoe is worn), the quarter has stretched a bit, which allows more wiggling of the ankle and heel (so this I do not like). The heel treads of the sole have not worn much, but the forefoot treads of the sole have nearly flattened, so the shoe somewhat feels heel-like nowadays, but it feels super comfortable. The inner sole is still in tact, but has nearly flattened and is beginning to separate from the shoe. Overall, the wear is appropriate for the age of the shoe and it is still 90% comfortable and sturdy; remember, sneakers are meant to last between six months - one year.

These are good shoes for the price, for what I do with them. I have weird feet and ordered them based on the reviews of others. These shoes are some of the narrowest-running shoes I have ever seen in my life. Mine fit fine because I paid attention to other peoples' reviews and ordered accordingly. If you have super wide feet, I would seriously look elsewhere. The other issue is with grip - these shoes have none. The tread looks good when you look at it, but once you actually wear them... I don't know what it is, but they are CRAZY slippery, especially on wet grass. If you work on a tile floor, you might very well slip and crack your tailbone... It is that bad. I use them for general day-to-day wear including walking dogs on grass, gravel, and pavement. They are pretty comfortable once they are broken in.

Stylish shoes. So-so comfort. But for a guy with flat feet and weighing over 200 lbs, I shouldn't be too critical since these ARE casual kicks. If I'm going to be on my feet for extended periods, I'll wear shoes that provide better cushion and support like Mizuno Wave Rider. Having said that, I am happy with this purchase. I really dig the dark gray version of these shoes and have gotten lots of compliments.

This shoe is the best/most comfortable around, no doubt about it. The only reason for 4 stars is that the picture did not match the color of the item received. Go by the written color (i.e. silver/gray) rather than the picture when ordering. The pictured shoe was brown even though the color said silver/gray. When I opened the item it was silver/gray. Perhaps a dumb move on my part, but what can I say, I like pictures.

This is a great shoe. Fits perfectly and its the same style I saw in the stores. Only problem is a tear opened up on the side of the shoe. Its on the right shoe outside and looks like the stitching opened up. Never had a shoe do that to me so soon. Other that that they are great. I have them in other colors with no problems.

If you wanna look like the coolest, chubby, single, mid-thirties white guy around... BUY THESE SHOES. Honestly, one of the more comfortable shoes to put on after working hard at selling useless products all day and coming home to play Call of Duty. My feet feel so good right now, doing what 99% of their owners do; Sitting in front of the computer, wasting time. Don't even come close to exercise with these bad boys. Just sit and ponder why you're still single at 30. At least you'll be comfortable while contemplating suicide.

Perhaps my favourite colour of any 574 I've owned - please re-issue these!!!! They fit me about a 1/2 size too tight.I usually wear an 11.5 D, but wear a 12 D in 574's.

I wear a size 15 2e-4e (depending on the style of new balance. Ive tried them all the brands and new balance fits me the best. These shows are light and stylish. If your flat footed like me I would suggest you trying these on. Having such a big foot it used to be hard for me to find shoes that were of my taste. Thank you new balance for making cool shoes for big feet!!!!

Il prodotto è al solito molto confortevole, la qualità delle NEW BALANCE non è da osannare ormai credo sia non a caso un marchio affermatissimo con ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo, io adopero le 991 e le 574 e la vestibilità è molto diversa, il mio piede è un 44 scarso e delle 991 porto il 44,5 mentre delle 574 per avere la stessa vestibilità ho preso il 45,5 un numero secco in più delle sorelle 991 !!! Quindi, prodotto ottimo, leggero e con suola molto soft confortevole, la painta è un pò più stretta delle 991 e la calzata veste circa un numero in meno del solito, non avevo mai comprato un paio di scarpe 45,5 in vita mia ! Comunque OTTIME !

Premetto che, avendo altre due paia di 574, la scelta della taglia è stata solo una formalità.Le New Balance 574 le raccomando vivamente, sono le scarpe più comode che abbia mai provato. Il colore in questione è anche particolare perché molto difficile da trovare nei negozi.Io le raccomando vivamente. Bisogna stare solo un po' attenti quando piove, perché diventano molto scivolose. Spedizione Amazon incredibile, ordinate martedì, venerdì erano già ai miei piedi. Prezzo in linea con quello dei negozi di Bari

Tenia mis dudas sobre comprar zapatos en Amazon, para el tema de la talla pero también para estar seguro que no sea de imitación. Compre estos zapatos en 2015 y todavía las tengo, son unas maravilla sobre todo si te gustan las New Balance. A peina se han gastado y eso que las he llevado kilometros. El numero 43 correspondió perfectamente con mi numero 43.

Ho preso un 42 in quanto prendo lo stesso numero nella maggior parte delle Nike (un modello ho 42.5). Quindi veste circa un numero di più.Tempi di consegna ottimi e una bella scarpa ad un ottimo presso.Non é troppo leggera quindi nonostante in estate possa risultare "pesante", questo permette di sfruttarla per quasi tutto l'anno

Hace ya dos años de la compra y siguen haciendo kilómetros. Hay que decir que ya están para renovarlas, pero ya me gustaría que otras zapatillas aguantaran lo que están haciéndolo estas. Las puntas que es lo que primero se deteriora, aquí están como el primer día, y la suela de 2,5 cm un acierto.
