Did the job, fantastic for purpose.

Bought this for my compact tractor, after I lost the fuel filler cap. It's job was to ensure that, as soon as I purchased a replacement, the old one would be found, either in the field or on the tractor, wedged in some inaccessible place. Worked a treat. Filled the hole in the top of the tank, went home pleased with the effect, and LO! next week (the next time I went to use the tractor) the missing cap was wedged in the hydraulic pipes below the tank... Five starts! (and a LOT cheaper than a proper replacement. Kubota, £35 - what ARE you thinking???) (Yeah - the cheap generic metal replacements don't fit, but this one did..)

Good quality and well priced emergency filler cap, delivered next day so I can keep my car on the road until I can get a proper replacement cap. BUT BEWARE - the title of the product is "AA Universal Emergency Fuel Cap AA5922 - Fits All Cars Petrol or Diesel - Permanent or Temporary Replacement - Easy to Fit without Cutting, yellow" but this cannot be used as a permanent replacement (and the packaging of the item says so. It also does not meet MOT requirements).

Had to trim the plastic fins to fit my petrol lawnmower but works a treat

Bought this for my sister's ford fiesta 07 diesel, she couldn't get to fit. I tried and found that the way the filler pipe is made and the angle of the filler pipe it bends straight after the opening so this cap will not go in enough to stay/lock in, it just pops out straight away. So no good for this car, pitty she didn't keep the packaging to return it.

I drive a super old car, as you can imagine, it's got bits and pieces missing. Been using this for nearly 2 years now, and it still works perfectly till today.

Does not fit Peugeot 207

The AA petrol cap is great if you lose your petrol cap as a temporary solution until you can get the appropriate replacement cap for your car. It arrived the day after I ordered it & was very reasonably priced.
