One thing that really surprised me was how well it holds its altitude. You can get it to a certain height and it just stays there, no constant throttle adjusting needed. The product is quite satisfactory. Despite numerous falls and drops, it has endured significant impacts from various walks and objects. Nevertheless, it remains largely intact, with only minor scratches. The battery life is relatively short. Overall, it offers a good value for money.

It flies good. But I've had it less than a month and the power switch just snapped off, so no way to turn it on or off. Probably about 10 flights total. Sent emails to Syma through warranty, and their company email with no response yet. Also initiated a replacement through Amazon, but had to connect with the seller, which is syma, and no response yet. So, its a cool little toy. Works well, till it breaks. You might get more life out of it than I did. But for the money, I wouldn't have expected it to break so soon. **********UPDATE**************** Syma offered me a choice of a refund or a replacement. I chose replacement, and that was a mistake. They sent me a new one. But this doesn't stay bound to the controller. The left stick is more like an on/off switch for the rotors than anything else. It's essentially unflyable. 1. left stick up full power. Stays at full power till midpoint where it basically goes into idle. Push the stick back up, and about half the time the rotors don't spin back up. 2. Rotors go to idle without any input from the throttle. I had the original one figured out and could fly it pretty well. So, I'd say avoid these. You might get a good one. You might get a cool-looking paper weight. That's what I seem to have gotten. And if your breaks and they offer you a refund or replacement, take the refund. No promises your replacement will be any good.

I purchased this helicopter for my eight year old grandson for Christmas. Of course, I tested it! Lol. Let me first say that in all the years I had children living at home, my husband got to “test” all the remote products purchased in our household. So, just to spell it out, I have ZERO experience with any remote not a TV remote. Out of the box, you will need 4 AA batteries and to charge the helicopter for 1 hour (at least). After that you are on your way. I will also add that I didn’t feel like the directions was specific enough — they should have said to turn on the helicopter and then to connect the helicopter and the controller simply move the left controller up and then down. This connects them together. It took me two minutes to figure this out though so no biggy. Now on to actually flying the helicopter. It has an amazing one button start up that will simply lift the helicopter off the ground for you. After that you can move the joysticks and control it any way you want. And also, that one button that can lift it in the air can also set it straight down. I LOVED IT! I will admit with no experience whatsoever, it took me about 4 times before I could successfully fly the helicopter without crashing. But the positive side is that I can tell you I ran that helicopter smack dab into my oven top, my microwave, the front of my refrigerator and straight down to the floor FULL SPEED. And the darn thing never broke. LMBO. I can’t believe it. I have had to send off for part for “Christmas gifts” my husband broke within 5 minutes. This helicopter took a licking and kept ticking. I will add that the downside is that this helicopter lasts less than 10 minutes before it needs to be charged for an hour so you can fly it again. But that isn’t a big deal for my eight year old. He has a short attention span anyway so it works perfectly for him. The other thing I will mention that I really liked is the instruction manual had a list of all the parts, so when something does break, you know what part number to order and where to order it from. Definitely a company I’m going to look at more of their toys simply because of this. Life is too short to be searching the internet for the name and part number of something you need just one (1) of. Another thing I read in the manual was that you could purchase two (2) helicopters and fly them at the same time (so if you have two kids your fine with no channel overlap) or if your are one (1) teenage boy that likes to impress your friends you can simply fly TWO (2) helicopters at the same time with one (1) remote!

This RC helicopter is sooo cool. It flies very stable and after a few tries I got it working. The battery doesn’t last super long, but the charging is pretty fast. Very durable! The rotor blades never broke when it crashed. Speed is good, and it looks very good. Overall a great RC helicopter.

Good toy but for very short time, it doesn't matter how long you charge it it will just play for 5 minutes!!!!
