so I wasn't expecting much from this shampoo as I've been using T-gel shampoos for years with fine results, however for me their ended up being a huge difference. This shampoo has a minty smell that helps cover up the coal tar smell, but its not overpowering mint like some shampoos that leave you smelling like a girl scout cookie or something. It really cooled my head down and relieved itch from dandruff but another plus is unlike other coal tar products, this shampoo did NOT strip my hair of all its nutrients. My hair felt clean and my scalp refreshed without my hair feeling squeeky or like staw like other coal tar things do. Then there is the conditioner. Another product I wasn't expecting much from(from experience with other similiar products) but it was great as well. Not only does it have a fresh peppermint scent that works well with the shampoo, but it was thick. Usually similiar shampoos are pretty runny and don't last long. This stuff was rich and creamy so I didn't have to use more than like a quarter size for my hair, if that. I am going to see how long this stuff lasts. I don't shampoo with it everyday, may 2-3 times a week I use head and shoulders and a few of the other days of the week since the ingredients attack dandruff from a different angle. If you are suffering from dandruff or an itchy scalp I totally recommend this. I'm starting to learn that with many things, you pay for what you get. Its a little more on the pricey end which my reason for hesitating for so long but I believe now that it is worthy the price and if you follow their directions of only using it a few times a week I wouldn't be surprised if this bottle last 2-3 months which eases the sting of a higher price, but like I said, you pay for what you get. Will definitely be a frequenting customer.

After years of trying everything from brands like head and shoulders and selsun, this was the first shampoo and conditioner team that actually helped me manage my dandruff! Smells great, and makes me look great! I've been using for 3 years or so now, and am planning to keep on using it for the future. Highly recommend!

First off, I don't review anything... so that should say how much I liked this and encourage anyone with dandruff problems to get it. I can't tell you how many dandruff products I have tried over the past few years, all garbage, and not a single one did a thing. Head & Sholders? Nope. T-Gel? Eh kinda, but it smelled like crap and I could not use it every day. So I got this since I needed new shampoo and like the styling clay and didn't honestly expect it to do much... I was wrong. This is the only dandruff product I have used that both works, but actually smells good. On top of a great shampoo the conditioner is really quality too, none of the "2-in-one" garbage here that does nothing for your hair. I'm definitely buying it again when I run out. I fully recommend you try it yourself if you are coating everything around you in dandruff like a walking snow machine.

I love this shampoo/conditioner combo. Yes, it's mainly marketed to men, but I'm a woman who uses it. I love that it helps keep my psoriasis controlled as long as I use it 2 or 3 times a week. My hair always feels soft and manageable. My only complaint is that the conditioner is so thick that it's difficult to get out of the bottle. I don't even bother trying to use the flip cap. I screw the cap off altogether. Even with that, I have to violently shake the bottle to try and get the product to the opening. I even try storing it upside down, and that doesn't help. My bottle is mostly full, and I struggle to get product out. If it's going to be that thick, it really need to be in a tub.

Okay so far so good. I have very annoying dandruff that adapts to different shampoos/conditioners. The only one that worked for me for the longest was this axe anti dandruff i used many years ago. They changed that formula and it’s been a struggle to find something that consistently works. I just started using this because I seen an ad for it. I have way too many shampoos and conditioners and treatments for dandruff than I care to admit to. Having added this to my routine I think I will be getting rid of a few of those products. I tried these two on their own and they felt great. But, I didn’t feel like the two of these were enough for me. Adding another couple products I use has reduced my dandruff to the tiniest little flakes. But I’ve only been using it for a week so I’m hoping it’s only improvement from here. I think my dandruff is at about 98% controlled and that makes me ecstatic. I would say the other products I own would control about 70% sometimes. Can’t wait to get back to letting my hair grow and styling it once again. I have super thick hair wavy/curly and becomes a mess when long so when I comb this mane flakes are my worst nightmare. This has brought me back some hope because I was ready to wear hats and shave my head and lather it with vaseline for the rest of my life.

I normally don't write reviews. But the fact that I cannot return it after trying it just once compelled me to write this review and save someone else their money. I really wanted to like this set and become a lifetime customer. Does it work to clean your hair? Sure... I think most shampoos will, but it has some chemical scent resembling petroleum mixed with a little bit of peppermint/mint. It concerns me that I'm putting on my head and absorbing into my body who knows what. Ugh, I want my money back.

Smells like chocolate mint ice cream, mmm yummy, but don't eat it. It's mild on my scalp and lathers up really well. Good product, I'll be buying more. This product was born from Aaron Marino and his stylist Mr Posta. They developed this and he even went on Shark Tank with it. If you are a young man I highly recommend this product and also recommend you check out Aaron's YouTube channel, iamalpham. He has great advice for men of all ages but mostly younger men. Warning: if you watch him too much you may find yourself spending money. UPDATE: I'll admit that htis stuff is over priced, you can go to the grocery and pick up shampoo and conditioner for under $10, but this is a splurge on yourself type item, imo. I also replaced the bottle for the conditioner to a pump type bottle I found at the dollar store. I was having trouble sqeezing the conditioner out of the bottle it came in but now I can have measured in my palm every time.
