I, like many, have tried many supplements looking for something outside of the pharmaceutical prescribed. Crap that doctors try to give you. I have, for too many years, suffered from bouts of insomnia and feeling little to no emotions about anything or anyone. I can’t say I was depressed or anxious, it just seemed like I was baseline all the time. Never got sad, never got happy. So I started on my journey of trying to understand what causes the body to end up this way. What solutions there were, if any, to change me back into the person I used to be. Which was a very happy go lucky, positive, spirited human being. Who loved Life” and could look at a tree and find beauty in it. For whatever reason, many years ago, it disappeared. Leaving me with little to no affect. Essentially emotionless. Sure, I would put on a brave face and smile for the camera… But inside, it was as if somebody turned off the switch. Which made the child in me essentially die. When I started reading about this and watching videos to understand what causes it, I found out there’s many people who suffer from the same thing. One of them being LeeAnn Rimes. Imagine, having millions of dollars, millions of fans, and anything your heart will ever desire, and never being happy. She said that was her for the past 15 years. Which was me. So, as I started reading and watching videos from world, renowned doctors, I realized that I wasn’t alone, and that most people that suffer from this, depression, and anxiety generally are deficient in vitamins/minerals. Which causes your entire body to react. Your transmitters and receptors in your brain cant produce enough GABA, and therefore serotonin and dopamine. Which causes depression and anxiety. Unfortunately, the medical industry has been trained to go straight to the pharmacy without truly understanding what is happening inside of their patients body and mind. They just use the pharmaceuticals as in all in one solution. Not realizing that they could easily talk to their patients about these deficiencies and try different vitamins and minerals to see if that first doesn’t help them. Then it becomes very difficult for those patients to get off of the SSRIs that are prescribed. Luckily, I never went that route. I just dealt with it, unhappily, though. That was. Until I started studying the cause-and-effect of different chemicals in your body and brain. Then, what best to try to supplement these things to see if that is the case. Doctors can’t have lab work done to check for these deficiencies, but many of them don’t, and just pull out the prescription pad. Because many don’t have the time to truly spend with the trial and error of finding these deficiencies. First thing I started, which many people, especially as you get older, or deficient of… is magnesium. But, there are many different kinds of magnesium that does different things for the body. The one that I have found that is best for brain function, and positive spirit, not to mention sleep… Is magnesium L-Theonate. Which crosses the blood brain barrier easily, and helps the deficiency in order to relax the mind and the body. Which allows for people to fission of it, to feel better and sleep better. Then, I also found Gotu Kola, which has been heavily, studied and found to promote better blood flow in the body, which helps rejuvenate your entire circulatory system and therefore your brain to function better. The last thing that I found, was exactly what I’m writing a review about here… That is this brand of Lithium Oritate by KAL. Which combines lithium orotate with essentially a lactic acid that helps it cross the blood brain barrier easily. So, what did this supplement do for me? I tried 5 mg to start and about an hour afterwards I felt a bit more relaxed. Not a lot, but a difference. I tried 5 mg a few times a day, and it helped make me a little more cheerier. I tried 10 mg about a week after the first dose and noticed that the feeling was stronger. Making me understand that I was obviously deficient of lithium in my body, and it was causing a lot of the issues. The worst of which was feeling nothing. Which I started to look around and see a little bit of beauty in the things around me again. Now this stuff is supposedly somethings that builds up in your system, overtime and depending on how deficient your body is in making it itself, it can take more or less of a dose every day. I recommend to my friends that they start with 5 mg and if after a week they don’t feel any different… Then they try 10 mg and wait another week after taking it every day and see how they feel and so forth until they find the dosage that works for them. It is sad by many experts, that it can take 1 to 3 weeks for the full effects to take.. so if it doesn’t work right away, give it some time. Overall, I am so overjoyed that I finally found a deficiency in my body. Without having to resort to pharmaceutical poison that has way too many side effects. Not to mention it’s hell to get off of. And luckily, I never went down that road. Even though I thought about it many times. I want people who feel dead inside to live again. If you go on YouTube, you will find many videos talking about lithium oritate. Study up and see if it may be right for you and try it. It only has side effects in high doses, which will be body dependent per person who takes it. I wish nothing but the best for everybody who tries this and I hope you can change your life as much as it has changed mine. Because I missed that little kid inside of me who could look at the littlest thing and find amazing life in it. Great Vitamin

Good Calcium supplement

I find these tablets difficult to swallow. It’s not so much the size, but the coating on the tablet seems a little rough in the mouth and makes it an unnecessary challenge to swallow. I’m not sure if this is a typical or batch issue, I bought the largest bottle however and just missed the return deadline. I bought these on price and prior experience with Kal.

I was prescribed Norethisterone for Endometriosis and it gave me horrible mood swings. I take these to combat the hormone induced crankiness.

Received an authentic product with properly sealed cap. The seller was M&S Nutrition. I don’t know yet about the effect of lithium orotate as I just started using it.
