First experience with ASA and very impressed. Recommended.
Recommended. The reel arrived sealed in a foil bag, perfectly wound and didn't need drying. This was the first ASA filament I've tried and the first part came out very well. Especially considering I had a 0.2 mm nozzle fitted and my printer is pretty old and not enclosed. I started with my PLA settings and increased the hotend to 260C and the bed to 90C (glass with 3DLac). I also reduced speed a bit. Update: I'm still loving this black ASA filament. Today I sanded som parts down to 1000 grit and was able to get a very smooth surface with a hint of a shine. Way easier to sand thus ASA than PLA.

It really is ASA and it’s easy to print with
Very easy to print with and great ABS like properties. The finish is excellent and layer adhesion was superb!

Great Filament
No Problems with any Polymaker Filament - Not the cheapest for the UK but worth the extra

Real pain to get to work, but it looks great.
Trying to print this on a Bambulab P1S means covering the printer with a blanket and letting it heat up for 30 minutes before starting the print, otherwise it will 👏 not 👏 stick. Other than that, it looks, feels and functions great!

extreme warping
prints fine, if it is small footprint, nice finish. Sadly it warps extremely easy if you using 100% infill.

Strong, prints very well
This is my first spool of ASA filament, which I wanted to use to print an item that sits outdoors. I had read all sorts of warnings about how difficult it was to print with, but it was trouble-free for me. I have a Prusa i3 MK3S with BondTech extruder and Mosquito hotend. I printed on the Prusa smooth PEI bed with Dimafix adhesive. Print temperature was 255C and the bed was 90C. The printer was in a heat-trapping enclosure ("WhamBam"), which is needed to prevent curling and lifting. Cooling fan was 20% (I used PrusaSlicer's "Prusament ASA" profile.) The finished print stuck perfectly, the print was strong and details very sharp,. No stringing. I am very happy with this and expect to use it more.

Producto de muy buena calidad, fácil de imprimir considerando que es un filamento complejo. Lo volveré a comprar.

Outstanding results!
I’ve printed with ABS , PETG, PLA, TPU, and now with ASA. This stuff has incredible results! Of all the prints I’ve done, this ASA gets the best results. As with the other reviews, temps work best at 250 nozzle and 105/110 bed. One thing to note is speed though. I can crank up my printer to about 300% speed with PLA and about 200% with ABS. This ASA is VERY picky about that. I can’t even get to 150% without it showing degradation. This stuff is great with acetone as well, like ABS. As for smell/off gassing, it sits between ABS and PLA. Definitely need to keep this stuff dry too. Keeping my filament dryer busy. The white filament is very white, unlike the ABS white that’s a little off white. Will definitely be buying more.
