Rieker Men's 33810 Desert Boots

What an absolute joy! These are the first shoes I have ever bought (ever!), and I am a whopping 36 years of age, that have not required me to wallpaper my feet in plasters or blister pads or Savlon; that have not required me to limp around for a couple of weeks whilst the damn things finally settle and loosen and conform to my normally shaped feet; that have fit immediately without any initial struggle; that have arrived laced properly; that are made of god knows what comfortable, soft, luxurious material but, heaven knows, I want a supply.For the first time ever my feet have bought me a glass of champagne, thanking me from the bottom of their hearts (although, let's face it, they borrow mine), for their new levels of luxury.These are the first shoes, ever, I have looked forward to putting on.

There really comfortable and look nice the only problem is they smell like chemical's mixed with playdoh . Its not even a faint wiff of chemicals when I opened the shoe box they stunk I just hope the smell fades away cause there good shoes other than that

the boots were a wider fit than I expected, but when laced up were very comfortable and well worth the money.

Bought these for my boyfriend and he loves them, they have a very comfortable insole, warning though it does not say it on the page but they are classed as wide fit shoes, but my boyfriend has quite thin feet and they seemed fine. Very stylish, waterproof and warm.

Great quality warm inner lining so may be bit hot in summer. Leather soft so no breaking on required!

These only get 2 stars because they were actually very comfy. They are also a much lighter tan/brown than is shown in the pictures.The main problem is these are not genuine leather. It is a very thin synthetic leather over a material. It scratches easily showing the poor quality.

This item uses the "leather" word twice in its description, prominently. That's very misleading, because it's FAKE leather, synthetic. That's probably why the shoe has a funny smell, unlike genuine leather. In my opinion it's not worth the price I paid for it. It's a good fake, which I noticed only after I worn them, but with time it becomes more apparent, because it doesn't develop the the wear and patina specific to genuine leather. Also, one of the boots is developing a tear where this thin "leather" meets the sole. For this price you can find much better boots.

Arrived quickly, great fit and very stylish - well I think so. Decent value.
