I originally got this from my doctors office. When I ran out, I googled since my doctor is over an hour from me and was glad to see it was sold on Amazon. I got it immediately. Easy to swallow and the product size lasts. Paid same price as my doctor's office.

It works quite well as a probiotic prescribed for me.

I love the CEO & business model that Researched Nutritionals is built on. Even their tagline is smart and clever on multiple levels, “Solutions for Life.” Their package designs are sharp. The CEO insists on science behind the supplements. They pay for clinical research by third parties that gets published in peer review journals. They focus their products strategically on a health issue or a body part that has a need. Then they tailor their supplements in a multi-pronged approach to those needs to solve problems for patients and provide resources for doctors. Most supplement companies say that their assertions haven’t been evaluated by the FDA. This company says we have the scientific proof that our supplements work. For all of these reasons, I expect quality from their supplements and have ordered 3 of their products so far. Positives for Corebiotics: -No refrigeration required -Hardy & heat resistant strains -Prebiotics -Supplements support a healthy microbiome and overall gut health They are pricey compared to lesser quality supplements. But CoreBiotic is top notch, and I love taking these supplements!

Update: I have been using it now for over a month on alternate days and it seems to help. I had not thought about it until I ordered this product, that some probiotics are spores and others are not. It would make sense that a probiotic in spore form world stand a better chance of passing through the intestines in a more potent condition. I am not a Gastroenterologist so I could be wrong, but I am willing to try this. My Gastroenterologist recommended I take some probiotics to help me with my IBS. Fingers crossed. It looks like a quality product so I am hopeful.

This is a high potency spore probiotic to replenish good bacteria and fight bad bacteria. The capsules are a medium size and are easy to swallow. There is no smell or taste to them. They are also shelf-stable which makes them more convenient for travel. The spore based probiotics are highly resistant to stomach acid, potentially resulting in the delivery of more viable probiotics to the small intestine. The price is reasonable for the quality of the product.

I have taken all kinds of probiotics and most take a week or more (for me) to make any impact if they're going to. This product, however, seems to be affecting me almost immediately, and I have realized this is the first brand I've tried that in spore form for improved absorption. I believe it is having a faster impact because I get a mild Herksheimer's effect the day after I ingest one, which for me looks like mild itching on the palms and soles. I have experienced this when doing a cleanse or taking anything that creates bacterial die-off in the digestive tract. While there's nothing in this product to cause die-off, I am wondering if the additional bacteria in the capsules create it naturally for the unwanted biome. Nonetheless, this is not a reaction to the product and it has gone away with continued use. The capsules are easy to swallow with liquid and have no flavor or odor. I think the price is a bit on the high side and can support shopping around or experimenting with other spore-formulated probiotics.
