Great easy to use power station for my pop-up tent trailer/RV
Ordered this so I could power my pop-up tent trailer for trips longer than a weekend and as a backup generator for my pellet stove and sump pump for winter outages (but mostly for my RV). I only use about 250-300W per day on my pop-up...but even with my 210AH batteries I can only get ~4days before that batteries are below the 50% mark (told I should no discharge batteries below 50% to lengthen battery life. The problem is that I often go for 2 weeks and need the electric to run my gas fridge if nothing else (but also want to occasionally run the water pump as well. I don't want to rent a site with electric because they are 2x as expensive as a primitive (no hookup) tent site (there is a weird loophole what a popup is considered a tent even though my pop-up is 21' long and has a bathroom, shower, full kitchen, etc. just like a full RC). I had brought a small 2000W Honda generator which is very quite but ran into 2 problem: 1) the campground I use most frequently doesn't allow generators at all, and 2) instead of it taking about an hour or 2 to fully charge the battery the pop-up when into regular charging mode which is only 5A so a full charge would take over 10 hours of running the generator (apparently to not damage the battery) The ECOFLOW solves my problem in 2 ways: 1) it has a full 2000WHrs of power which should be enough to power my popup on its own for over 7 days (with another 4 from the trailer batteries), 2) It can fully recharge in less then 1.5hours using either AC or my Honda generator and then give me another 7 days. The recharge time for me is key as it means that for my next planned trip for 6 weeks I can either bring the generator to the men's room and plug it in for an hour, or go to a parking lot outside the campgroup and recharge with my Honda generator. I test with the Honda generator and it works just as expected. It took just a bit longer than I had hoped (1hr) only because the Honda was only able to source 13A continuously instead of 15A and I also wanted to go to 100% not 80%) I also am considering just getting a 200W or 400W solar panel that they sell and probably would not even need to recharge with AC or generator for the duration. Build quality is excellent and while the unit is heavy it's not that bad to carry with the 2 built in handles (with 2 people it's a snap) Very happy with this purchase and as a bonus it gives me piece of mind for the occasional power failures we get during the winter. While a bit pricey I think what you get is probably worth it and is a great solution for my situation.

Great battery backup
What is it? It is a Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max made by ECOFLOW. They call it a Solar Generator however it is a 2048Wh battery unit. It does not CREATE power so it is not a generator. Once charged it can be used to power devices like a cell phone charger, refrigerator, or even an air conditioner. Using this as a backup solution for your home is also a good option as it provides plenty of power for many of the things you'd want to utilize during a power outage like a deep freezer, Wi-Fi router, Television, Microwave, CPAP, coffee maker, chargers, etc. Why do you need it? If you need battery backup or stored energy to power things, this may be the right product for you. What are some of the best features? It can be charged via grid (1,800W AC input), solar, or even charge from your car. I was able to charge mine from 0% to 100% in one hour and fifteen minutes using grid. Once the colling fans start, you can hear them if you are near it but they are pretty quiet, wouldn't disturb your favorite television show. If you choose to charge using solar, you can do so up to 1000W max using dual 500W inputs. You can also charge via grad at the same time. *Per ECOFLOW website: "With its upgraded LFP battery chemistry, DELTA 2 Max has a lifespan of 3000 complete cycles until it reduces to 80% capacity. You'll get pretty much 10 years of power, even if you use it every day. That's 6ร longer than other power stations with a similar capacity and output." **Lithium Iron Phosphate battery chemistry (also known as LFP or LiFePO4) is an advanced subtype of Lithium Ion battery commonly used in backup battery and Electric Vehicle (EV) applications. You can add up to two additional battery unit to this providing up to 6144Wh. It has a FIVE YEAR warranty. There are six 30AMP outlets, two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, two FAST USB-A ports, two DC5521 12 volt ports, and a Car Power Output (cigarette lighter for us older generation) What could use improvement? 1. It would have been nice if it would have included a pair of solar charging cables. ECOFLOW website nor ECOFLOW Amazon Store had any available so I ordered these: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CCRTB5N7 You will want the XT60i, it must include the "i" if you want to have the capability of 500 watts each. The XT60i connector has an anti reverse insertion design. 2. Occasionally when connecting the solar panels, the unit wouldn't auto-start charging right away. Sometimes I'd have to disconnect the solar cable a time or two before the Delta 2 Max would start charging from the panels.

Powerful, Fast, and Amazingly Well-Built
I just received the DELTA 2 Max, and right out of the box it made a strong impression. The charging speed is the first thing that stood out to me. When I plugged it in for the first time, the percentage jumped so quickly that I actually double-checked the display. Getting to 80% in under an hour is not an exaggeration โ it really does it. The overall build quality feels premium. The LFP battery chemistry was a major reason I chose this model, and even as a new owner, you can tell itโs designed for long-term durability. It gives a sense of confidence that youโre not buying something that will fade out after a handful of uses. I immediately tested it with several of my own devices โ my computer setup, my monitor, some studio gear, a few household items โ and it handled everything without even blinking. Seeing it push out clean power to multiple things at once reassures you that the 2400W rating is not just theory. The number of outlets also makes it practical; I never felt limited or cramped trying to plug in several items at the same time. The quiet operation is another pleasant surprise. When itโs charging, itโs barely noticeable. I had it sitting a few feet away, and it never became a distraction. The expandable capacity is also a smart feature. Even though I havenโt added extra batteries yet, just knowing that I can turn this into a much larger backup system if needed is a big plus. Overall, as a new owner, everything about this unit feels solid, fast, thoughtfully designed, and genuinely capable. It delivers exactly what I hoped for when I ordered it.

Best bang for the buck on the market right now for battery generators.
I've had many battery generators over the past few years from all the top brands. When the Delta 2 came out it was my favorite battery station of 2022. I think I can now say the Delta 2 Max knocks it off it's lead so long as you can handle the extra weight that comes w/ doubling the battery capacity. I'll try to highlight some pros and cons below. Pros: - now uses LFP battery chemistry which is safer and has a much longer cycle count than the prior gen. - dual MPPT charge controllers allow for 1kWh of solar input and you can have two varying arrays. - AC inverter efficiency was 87.4% which is exceptional, especially for a 2,400 watt AC inverter. - 100w USB C outputs. - EPS (UPS) feature - Best app and software in the industry. - exceptionally quiet. - 1,800 watt charging with the ability to slow it with the flip of a switch or the app. - Dual P150 DC output so you can run 2 spare batteries, or a spare battery and their smart generator or Wave 2. Cons: - ~52 lbs is not light to move around. I think it's the lightest LFP 2kWh battery option out, but still not an easy lift for some. - no wireless charging - Lower VOC input than I'd prefer with the MPPT charge controllers, although good for the class Neutral - DC inverter efficiency is 81.8% which is decent for the class, nothing noteworthy. - Would be nice if all output ports were on the same side (AC outlet and cig lighter in the rear). Overall I would call this offering a slam dunk. It's crazy how far this segment has come in just the last 5 years. It isn't perfect, but it makes a solid leap forward in every notable way over the predecessor and stands out as a class leader to me.

Will Power a Gas Home Furnace for Hours
This is enough to power a house-sized furnace blower for multiple hours (gas furnace, not electric, of course). We permanently keep it plugged in to our vaction house furnace to provide an automatic USB-like cutover when we are gone, to keep the house from freezing during shorter power outages. When the power is on, it powers straight through this unit to the furnace, without invovling the battery. It works great for that purpose; just be sure to set the AC output to "always on". Although it would only run the furnace continuously for 3 hours when the power goes out, the furnace does not run continuosly so this battery runs our gas furnace for about 7 hours in the winter keeping the temp at 70 when it is freezing outside; would probably run much longer if you were keeping the temp at 50. The free iPhone app that comes with it, allows us to see what is happening remotely when there is a power outage at an empty vacation home. Of course, you need to put another smaller version of this item on your WiFi system, to use like a USB on steroids, so it stays up and allows you to remotely monitor the house while the power is out. We bought the solar panels for backup, but we have not plugged them in to try them out yet. UPDATE: SEVERAL MONTHS AND POWER OUTAGES LATER: I read the review above, by "curt", complaining that this unit is not reliable. I would suggest that his complaints are "operator error". If you read the directions thoroughly (they are very good) you find out that most of the features time out if you do not set each one up to never time out. And, they do ask you every time before they do a software update and require an affirmative "yes" to begin (I never do the update remotely so I can check things out in person) and they do warn you when you begin a software update that you should re-set the features after the update. The default "timeout" on each output, was to preserve battery life if you are using it as a battery and not a USB. But the control software on your iPhone is very good, and if you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS you will know to toggle on all of the "never shut off" toggles. I tested this on my furnace many times by pulling the power cord when the furnace was running. Not even a hiccup. Also, we woke up one morning at the mountain home with news that a huge pine tree feel on a power line over night in the cold of winter. We didn't know, because the furnace switched over to this battery backup without any intervention, and we were still toasty warm in the morning although we had no lights. It kept us with heat long enough for the power to come back on later in the day. Another time, there was a scheduled power outage that was supposed to last for the whole day. We had to leave in the middle of the day before power was restored. We were able to log on remotely to this unit, to find out when power was restored later in the day (it shows you input and output wattage; when the input wattage is restored you know that you have power again). Read the instrutions. Du'oh.

Great Backup Power Station
I bought the Eco-flow Delta 2 Max power station a couple of weeks a go and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. The unit is very well designed and a solid build build. It's very easy to setup and charge. In fact the fast charging feature allows you to fully charge the batteries in under two hours when plugged in to a wall outlet. There is an excellent app that you can download from the Apple App store. The app gives you up to the minute information as to the status of the device. You can see when it's charging and adjust rate. You can also see the wattage of of a connected device drawing down the battery as well as an estimate of how long the battery will last at a given rate. You can monitor the device remotely using the app even when you are out of town. I also like the 10 year battery life of the LFP batteries and the 3,000 charging cycles as compared to other similar devices. The device weighs in at about 50 lbs which is not light but easily manageable. We have a lot of power outages in my area and my main reason for the purchase was for backup power for our refrigerator and wifi modem and router. I tested it on our Samsung refrigerator and could monitor the discharge rate and time. It worked beautifully and will help us avoid losing a lot of food from our fridge and freezer in the future when there is a power outage. Overall, this was an excellent purchase. I like the company and the support they provide on their website. I also purchased the solar panels to go with it for times of extended emergency power failures.

Customer/product support non existent.
So 1, like 2 million other Houston residents, lost power for several days after our most recent hurricane. I thought I was covered with my delta 2 max and dual fuel smart generator. I was wrong. I spent about 75% of the blackout drenched in sweat fighting to get the "smart" generator to cooperate with the delta 2 max. I had constant issues. The main problem being that the generator would rev up like it was about to send power to the delta but then zeroing out seconds later while still revving as if it was sending power. Constant 520 codes among others. It only worked about 1 of every 10 attempts. The "smart" feature that's supposed to run the dual fuel to charge the delta when it drops below a certain percentage worked 1 time in 5 days without power. Meaning waking up in the middle of the night to fight with it for an hour before I could get it to send any power and usually resulting only a partial charge before I had to fight it again in 100 degree 100% humidity weather. So completely disappointed in what was a major investment for myself and my family. Step in EcoFlow customer service. I called in the middle of the blackout on a particularly frustrating day and was shocked there was no one I could speak to that had any technical knowledge of the system. All the support agents don't even scratch the surface of technical support beyond checking for frayed wires. Extremely disappointing. I was told they'd escalate and send an email so I could enter product info and they'd have someone from technical support call and help me out with diagnosing the issue and warranty support. 3 full days later and nothing. Called back and just got off the phone with them and nothing has changed. No new information. No explanation, no timetable, nothing other than the same useless customer support experience I went through the first time. It's unbelievable that you can invest so much money into an emergency power system and receive zero technical support in a timely manner especially during a time of crisis. I'm currently still waiting on a callback. Think long and hard before you invest into this ecosystem. Their support is nonexistent in my experience. One of the worst I've ever dealt with.

Great Start to my Disaster Prepping!
I bought the Delta 2 Max as a start to having a solution to keep the necessities in my home running during outages. Since I bought it, I haven't had any outages, but I did test it with several of my home appliances. It ran my mini-fridge (80W) for 53 hours, and my big stand-up freezer (130W) for 26 hours. That's about double what you might calculate (and what the Ecoflow says on the screen when you first plug the appliances in), but that's because fridges and freezers don't have to run constantly - they kick in and out to keep cool as needed. Next I'm going to test it on my regular fridge, but I assume that will be similar to the freezer. That type of runtime will probably do me for most of the outages we get around here! Of course, if I tried to run all of these appliances at the same time, the Delta 2 Max wouldn't last long, so I'll have to try to gauge how long I think the outage is going to be, and prioritize what to power! I am also considering using the Delta 2 Max as an EPS - keeping the fridge plugged into it, so that when the power goes out I don't have to worry about my food getting spoiled if I'm not home. I hope to add a Smart Generator and/or maybe some solar panels to my set-up so that I can keep the Delta 2 Max charged during an extended outage. I found the device easy to set up, easy to use, and it seems to work very well. I love the app for "geeking out" on power draws and things like that. After draining it on my appliance tests, it charged up again ridiculously fast for such a big battery. That's quite amazing. Also, it is much lighter than its competitors with similar power, which is important for me as I'm a smaller person. Even so, I find it difficult to move around at about 50 lbs. I contacted customer support with a question and they responded right away, but it was just a quick, "We're sending your email on to the correct department". It took 6 days to get an actual answer. So, that's not super responsive, but at least they did get back to me. I guess that might be a symptom of dealing with a smaller company who doesn't have a large team dedicated to answering questions, although I'm actually not sure exactly how big the company is. All in all, I'm very happy with the Delta 2 Max, and I'm almost looking forward to my first winter outage this year so I can pat myself on the back for being prepared!

Easy to use and well made
I bought the ECOFLOW Portable Power Station DELTA 2 Max to use as a backup for my home and for camping trips. I was amazed by the large capacity, the fast dual charging, and the multiple output ports. It can power almost everything I need, from my fridge to my laptop. It is also very easy to use and monitor with the EcoFlow app. The power station is very user-friendly and convenient. It has a clear LCD screen that shows the input and output power, the battery level, and the remaining time. It also has an EcoFlow app that allows me to control and monitor the power station from my phone. The app is very easy to use and intuitive. It connects to the power station via Bluetooth or Wi-Fi and shows me real-time data and alerts. I can also update the firmware and access customer support through the app. The product came in a well-packaged box with all the accessories and manuals included. The packaging was sturdy and secure, and it protected the power station from any damage during shipping. The box also had a handle for easy lifting and moving. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase of the EcoFlow Delta Max. It is a powerful, reliable, and versatile portable power station that meets all my needs. It is worth the money.

Great for back up power for our freezer
Use as a back up power supply for our extra freezer. Has been great, no problems. Was recommended by our electrician as was cheaper to buy from Amazon than from his company.

Keeps getting better, not perfect, but wow!
We purchased this unit to do our own variation of time of use on some appliances we run. It works well to a degree, and IFKYK, the work around for expansion is awesome! I'm a long time user of these portable power stations, and these things have gotten impressively useful - particularly with this iteration, same weight, double the battery capacity of the first unit I bought nearly a decade ago. The general ergonomics of it is good - almost everything where you'd expect/want it to be - at least for my implementation/orientation of install. It's not quite "perfect" - can still overload, even with the Xboost feature enabled, but it has done so fewer times than the unit it replaced (which also had a ~ 2000W inverter). So for all intents and purposes, this is better. I also happened to buy this during a sale, so they were about the same cost as well. It should also be noted, I dealt with the EF customer support team, and similar to another tier one company (a competitor), I'm very happy to say that EF support was also excellent to work with. They didn't go the extra mile, but they did everything they could, so that was appreciated. I even made a suggestion to them off their website since some of the info they represented was inconsistent and confusing - as this was a replacement unit for another EF model that was returned. The usability of these things is getting really good, and as a compact all in one unit, the argument for them is getting better and better, especially if you can pair a 400-500W commercial solar panel to it.
