The Makita DUR193Z is exactly what I needed for quick garden tidy-ups. It’s lightweight, well-balanced, and very easy to handle — even for longer periods without feeling fatigued. The 18V motor has plenty of power for trimming grass and edges, and it runs smoothly without excessive vibration.I already have other Makita LXT tools, so using my existing batteries was a big plus. If you’re new to Makita, just remember that this is the bare tool only — no battery or charger included.The adjustable shaft and rotating head make it versatile for edging and general trimming. Noise levels are much lower than a petrol trimmer, which my neighbours definitely appreciate.Perfect for small to medium gardens, especially if you’re already in the Makita ecosystem. Reliable, solid build quality, and easy to store.

Was cautious when I purchased, but was surprised how good it was, the battery lasted a long timeWas easy to adjust the telescopic pole to my requirements, a very sturdy tool which seams to be consistent with most makita products, being cordless was so much better than having power cables trailing behind you which over the years I have managed to cut , no fear off that anymoreExcellent value if you have already got batteries

Really good product worked very well. My only grip was the delivery was really bad as they kept saying they tried to deliver when they clearly hadn’t.

Mit 1,98m bin ich zwar kein Riese aber auch nicht gerade klein. Bei den Rasentrimmern, die ich mir in der Vergangenheit ausgeliehen habe, musste ich mich immer irgendwie ein bisschen bücken um die gewünschten Stellen vernünftig bearbeiten zu können. Mit dem Makita DUR193Z hab ich das Problem so nicht mehr, denn die Länge des Geräts (einstellbar) und der Gurt passen so, dass man sehr komfortabel damit arbeiten kann. Auch das Gewicht finde ich ist absolut in Ordnung, wobei es sich nicht billig anfühlt sondern hochwertig. Ausgenommen davon ist das Schutzteil, das einen vor herumfliegenden Graß, Steinen etc. schützt wobei es seinen Zweck schon erfüllt.Mit dem vollgeladenen 18V Akku kann ich im Garten alle Flächen bearbeiten und habe immer noch genug Ladung übrig um auf die Heckenschere zu wechseln und damit weiterzumachen. D.h. wer schon Mankitageräte mit einem 18V Akku hat braucht für diesen sparsamen Trimmer keinen weiteren, um im Garten ohne Zwischenladen voranzukommen.Die Lieferung kam auch sehr schnell zu Hause an und mit ein paar kleinen Handgriffen und einer Schraube war der Trimmer zusammengebaut (Montieren der Schutzhaube) und Einsatzbereit.Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät und kann es uneingeschränkt empfehlen.
