Teint Idole Ultra Wear Natural Matte Foundation- Longwear, Medium-Full Coverage, Natural Finish, Waterproof & Hydrating Formula

The old formula was awesome. Full coverage beautiful, with a matte finish that lasted all day. The new formula? $53 for a bottle of runny, drippy, light coverage makeup, that does not have a matte finish. I am so disappointed. Can't even return it. Moving on to a new brand.

This is exactly what I did NOT need in my life right now- - needing to find a new foundation for my ultra picky/sensitive skin. Been using Lancôme foundation for FOREVER. It covers everything, feels light, actually isn’t comedogenic, & had amazing colors. Now there are wayyy too many different & unnecessary ingredients: 4! dimethicones, probiotics (why!?), hyaluronic {which I’m like probably alone in that it makes me breakout every time!}, more sunscreen, moringa/various plant roots& juice (yay more things for my skin to overreact). VERY DISAPPOINTED they changed something that was perfect, simple, & classic. And the skin colors are different now too. :-D and I dislike the new packaging as well. Went from 20 ingredients to now 37 ingredients! There’s pretty much no way my skin isn’t going to be inflamed & start breaking out from this new formula; has too many new unnecessary ingredients that I do not use on my face. Couldn’t be more sad (no more clear skin/flawless makeup!) & disappointed…ugghh! Update 9/26/23…using the “new” Lancôme formula daily for 2 weeks & I can positively tell you that it is making me breakout. Nothing else in my routine has changed but this new mkup formula. Every day there is 2-4 small whiteheads. And the same color (220BuffC) is a lot darker than it used to be, it was quite light previously, now it looks orangish/too dark on my skin. Still very sad that the mkup that used to give me flawless results/stunning coverage is now doing neither :-( Update 5/23/2024: still breaking out like crazy & have tried 4 more colors of this junk to try to get a color blend that matches what used to be my color in just 1 bottle. Still cant find the right color, their chart is garbage. Really HATE Lancôme for changing the formula/colors- - - still don’t hv the time or patience to figure out a new brand of foundation; lucky for Lancôme who is still getting my business (GRRR!) but I’m stuck with “the Devil that u know” vs. searching for a new/good foundation brand (& surely having some that will break out my sensitive skin; possibly even worse than now Lancôme does). Gee, thx Lancôme (*eye roll*) for making a foundation that now looks too orange + breaks me out + costs $11 more with worse results; when it used to be the bomb! & helped me look/feel great!!

After reading all the comments about the reformulation disappointments, I still wanted to be hopeful that my shade replacement would be okay. I’ve been using the original foundation for years after trying many, many other brands. 220C Was the recommended replacement for the old 160W. In my picture the 160W is the lighter foundation on the left. I could tell just by trying it on my hand the new color would be way too dark, and it looked even more ridiculous when I tried it in my face. I felt like a 13 year old in the early 2000s again, with my face a couple shades darker than my neck. Soooo disappointed in the color match fail 😕 In terms of the other qualities of the foundation, one review said the new foundation smelled weird. I detected no noticeable difference there. However, the new formulation is noticeably thinner in texture. I couldn’t wear it out in public because of the color issue, but I wear the old foundation to the gym and love it because it stands up to all my sweat and still looks pretty good after a couple hours in the gym. From the texture of the new one I am doubtful it would do the same. After testing the new product I ran to my computer to buy a couple bottles of the old formula and suggest you do the same. At least gives me a little more time to get into an Ulta to test some new products as I suppose I’ll need to find a new brand.

Totally lied a out the color. No way to retirn this overpriced and way over rated product. Buyer beware. A wastr of money. If I could give this a minus rating I would. I feel cheated!

Long time Lancome user - used this for 14 years !!! cannot get on board with the new formula and colors. I have tried for a year to adapt and it just isn’t happening. Old formula was the best, longwear and not as watery. It could be the hyaluronic acid that was added which does help smooth it into skin when applying, but after I just look like a greasy mess! I am so upset that this was changed an will not be rebuying again. Sorry Lancome.

I’ve been using Lancôme for years and this foundation is the perfect in between coverage, smooth, great color, kinda creamy, my skin is very happy with this product. Also has SPF 25 and lasts very well throughout the day. Also appreciate that it’s formulated in France, as the EU has stricter requirements on allowed chemical ingredients than the rest of the world, including the US. Definitely love!

No Bid deal. Nothing magical just like the cheaper brands.

I moved from the desert to the coast. I preferred this makeup when my skin was dry in the desert. Now with humidity it gets a bit too dewy for my liking with this makeup. Recommend for dry or aging skin though. Great that it has SPF. has never made me break out.

Amazing product, colour match perfect and the price was so much better than in store.
