Multi use pliers and good grip but hard to apply pressure if cutting wire but clean cut . Maybe need man's strength to apply pressure in order to cut. But other wise very good Quality product compared to other pliers out there.

Only just got it, but works well, and is well made: sharp accurate edges. I have a few S&R tools and trust them: they seem to be excellently made, and worth the slight premium price. All bought to replace cheaper options I was unhappy with.

Classic shape, robust, not wobbly at all, cuts soft steel wire without leaving a mark on the cutting edge, comfortable grips. On the negative side, machining of the shiny surfaces is rough and there are some rough sharp edges, so I had to do edge rounding myself. Not sure about corrosion protection, looks like very limited.

Very happy with these- I wanted something for my toolbox at home (in work I use Knipex but I couldn’t afford to purchase a whole set of Knipex pliers) these look great though and I am very impressed with the quality and the price! They feel a good quality, the jaws fit together and the movement is smooth.

Surprised by how durable they are, great product for DIY and trade work.

Only had these for a few days but as a spark I'll use them a lot, so far so good. cuts cable nice, feel solid jaws nice and solid, time will be the deciding factor

La pinza è nel complesso di ottima fattura, dai manici, alla finitura, al tagliente. Ma andiamo con ordine. I manici I manici sono ben sagomati ed essendo bimateriale, presentano la parte a contatto con le mani in gomma e dotata di una serie di sottili linee a rilievo (tre gruppi di 3) che garantiscono un'ottima presa. Oltre ad essere comodi, sono ben saldi e non tendono a girarsi se sottoposti a sforzo. In merito alla misura, faccio presente che la dimensione, in questo caso 180 mm, si riferisce alla lunghezza complessiva dell'utensile, cioè manici + parte terminale in acciaio (articolazione + testa). Ciò è importante perchè permette di determinare se l'utensile garantirà una presa più o meno comoda in base alle dimensioni delle proprie mani. Mi spiego meglio, una tronchesina ha la parte terminale in acciaio più corta della pinza quindi per la prima può andare bene una misura (complessiva) più piccola rispetto alla seconda. Io ho le mani grandi (larghezza palmo, al di sotto delle articolazioni metacarpo-falangee, pari a 92 mm) ed ho scelto la pinza da 180 mm e la tronchesina da 160 mm. La pinza da 180 mm ha i manici lunghi circa 120 mm mentre la parte terminale in acciaio è di 60 mm. La tronchesina da 160 mm ha esattamente la stessa impugnatura (circa 120 mm) perchè la parte terminale in acciaio misura 40 mm invece di 60 mm. La struttura in acciaio. La struttura appare molto solida e senza alcun gioco sul perno centrale. Ottimi i taglienti con i profili affilati ed accoppiati in modo preciso. Il trattamento superficiale appare anch'esso ottimo ma sulla sua resistenza allo sfregamento ed agli urti non posso pronunciarmi avendo utilizzato la pinza pochissimo e non in condizioni gravose. Cos'altro posso dire, il costo è molto contenuto rispetto ad utensili più blasonati (es. Knipex costa oltre oltre il doppio) e, soprattutto, ottimo se correlato alla qualità.
