After 30 years of not practicing ballet, I decided to get back to it. I chose to do it from home for now and this barre is perfect!! I went with the pinewood double barre black. I wanted actual wood, and after contacting the seller, they told me to choose the Pinewood. I know some reviewers complained that it wasn’t real wood. That means they picked the coated version. The barre was very easy to assemble. I am very happy with the overall quality. It is fairly sturdy and has non slip pads so that it doesn’t slide. However, expect it to wobble a little bit if you put too much pressure on it. I wouldn’t recommend it for a business unless it was for little ballerinas.

Not at all worth the price we were charged! Flimsy, and does not stay put together. Additional they are advertised with and addition support bar near the floor between the two poles, however ours did not come with one. Wish I sent it back when I could. Now it’s become a catch all rack.

Overall, this is a beautiful ballet barre and the customer service was wonderful! I purchased a used one through Amazon and it arrived with a few missing parts. After contacting the seller, they promptly sent the missing pieces at no charge, which I truly appreciated. The barre was easy to install and looks great once set up. I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it can shift slightly during certain movements. That said, it’s not designed to hold a lot of body weight, so as long as you’re using it properly, it works perfectly well. Overall, I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend it!

I did a lot of research for a portable ballet barre and this one rocks. It's a fake wood barre but from far away it looks real and has a nice, smooth texture to it. It's very easy to change the height of it when needed and its held up very well. I believe it looks the nicest too and looks more expensive than others I've seen. The only "complaint" is that the legs stick out a little further, providing great support, so you just need to angle yourself while doing certain exercises at the barre like grand batements/stretches etc.

The feet need to be flat to the ground. The barr tips over easily. We had to anchor the barr with sandbags on the legs.

The terrific Barre set came in a double-packed carton. It was a breeze to assemble, and surprisingly, for a 6-foot barre, it takes up a relatively small footprint in the family room. The barre's adjustable height is a perfect setup for my two granddaughters. It will surely complement their summer activities and keep them fit and pretty. I contacted the seller, Artan Balance, regarding the product's use and suggested accessories to purchase. I received an immediate and thoughtful reply and recommendations. Overall, an excellent product and a very pleasant purchase experience.

I really wanted to love this portable ballet barre, but it ended up being a bit of a mixed experience. While it does work for what I need most of the time, it isn’t nearly as stable as I expected—especially given the price point. Pros: Adjustable height makes it usable for both kids and adults Easy to assemble and move around the room Looks nice and fits well in a home workout or dance space Useful for stretching, barre work, Pilates, and light practice Lightweight and portable for home use Cons: Wobbly during use, especially for balance-heavy movements Not as sturdy as advertised despite “enhanced stability” claims Feels overpriced for the level of stability and materials Not ideal for more intense or advanced ballet/barre work The non-slip pads do not stay on and are constantly falling off Not easy to store it either without having to break it all down. Final Thoughts: This barre is functional, but it doesn’t fully live up to expectations. If you need something portable and don’t rely heavily on it for full weight-bearing balance, it can get the job done. However, for the price, I expected far more stability. It’s fine for light practice and stretching, but serious dancers or barre enthusiasts may want to invest in a sturdier option.

I absolutely love this ballet bar! It was easy to assemble and I was able to do it in my own. It is sturdy but light enough to be moved throughout the space. I am very happy with this purchase.

Bought for my Eleven year old granddaughter, she wanted a bar long enough to share with a friend. The six ft one is perfect for this. It comes well packed and is very easy assemble and adjust to suit. The rail if free standing so can placed anywhere and it can be stored flat against a wall. The materials look durable and well finished. It is very stable when fully assembled. Overall great product and very versatile.

as a Prima ballerina and director of ballet schools,i used many ballet barres in my life.I can reassure that the Artan barres is one Excellent Product, easy to montage,great value for money, perfect size, easy to use, very high quality! We used it in our UK AND ITALIAN BALLET SCHOOLS as well i have 1 in my home for training.Light to move and stability in balance.Highly recommended!!!!

If I could give zero stars I will !!! A waste of money!!! Not worth £89.99 at all!!!! Very poor quality!!! I received it and I am returning straight away! The actual barre can’t be assemble properly as it’s so cheaply made that don’t even fit !!!!! Also the picture is very misleading!!!!!! The barre is much more smaller than shown and advertised !!!!!!!

Easy to assemble and looks nice but felt too unsteady

It's so easy to put together and has a gorgeous finish to it. Doesn't wobble and love that it you can buy inserts to extend it. Perfect!
