This Yohood Basketball Hoop Outdoor 10ft Adjustable is absolutely fantastic—highly recommend! First of all, the build quality is solid. Once you fill the base with water or sand, it becomes very stable, even for adults playing. The backboard is sturdy with great rebound, giving a nice, realistic playing feel—perfect for both kids and adults. The adjustable height feature is a huge plus. It easily adjusts from lower heights up to the full 10 feet, making it ideal for kids to practice and grow their skills over time. One hoop can last for years, which makes it a great value. Assembly was easier than expected. The instructions were clear, and all parts were included. It took about an hour with two people. The overall design also looks great in the yard.

After my first experience, I really thought there was nothing else that could be done, but their team reached out to me directly and took the time to help resolve everything. This goal is the perfect size! We bought it for our 4yr olds birthday and it is short enough he can play but then also goes as tall as regulation height! Great quality, stability is really good and was super easy to put together!

UPDATE (3/31/26): Yohood reached out to let me know that they will have replacement rims in stock starting in May and will be sending one. Since the lack of replacement parts was my main concern, I really appreciate them addressing it. Knowing this, I’d recommend this as a solid choice for a backyard basketball hoop. I’ve had the Yohood basketball hoop for a couple of years, and while it served its purpose early on, there was one major issue buyers should be aware of: replacement parts weren’t initially available. Despite using three large pavers to weigh the base down, the hoop has blown over several times. Each time, the rim bent a little more, and it eventually became unusable. When I first reached out to the Yohood team, they weren’t able to provide a replacement and suggested I look elsewhere, which was frustrating at the time. That said, they’ve since followed up with a solution by offering a replacement rim, which makes a big difference. For something that lives outdoors and takes regular impact, having access to replacement parts is important—and it’s great to see the company stepping up.

This basketball hoop is very easy to install, made of good quality material, and features adjustable height, making it suitable for both children and adults. It's perfect for playing basketball at home—excellent choice!

I’m really impressed with how sturdy this hoop is. Assembly took a bit of time, but the instructions were clear enough. The base is strong and sturdy, and it hasn't budged even during some pretty windy and rainy weather this week, pretty impressive . The height adjustment is super smooth, which is great because I don't want it to set it up too high and get my basketball bumping over to the neighbor's back yard. It looks like fitting in the drive way as well . Solid purchase for the backyard!

Overall, this basketball hoop is pretty good. The structure is sturdy, and the assembly isn’t too complicated—just follow the instructions step by step and it should be easy to set up. The height is adjustable, so it works well for people of different heights. I mainly bought it for the kids. They can play and shoot hoops in front of the house or in the yard, which helps them stay active and is much better than spending too much time on electronic devices. The base is also stable after filling it with water and doesn’t tip over easily.

I'm still not clear how I feel about this basketball hoop. There are about a million different brands to choose from and each one has several negative reviews. This hoop was cheap at $140 vs. the $400-$500 hoops at Dunham's I feel are overpriced with plenty of negative reviews as well. I put this hoop together myself, first thing I noticed is it's extremely lightweight, I feel the parts could bend very easily. I live in the woods so I don't anticipate wind being a problem, but if you're somewhere windy I suspect this may blow over or bend the parts. It probably took me about an hour to put together. All pieces fit together nicely. I added all 3 sectional poles for maximum height. My boy wanted it lowered so I adjusted the height of the hoop. It is fairly easy to adjust, but does take a bit of muscle. Needed a stepladder, socket wrench and regular wrench to adjust. It took me less than 5 minutes to adjust, but It's not a simple adjustment like many hoops, it does take a bit of work and most will probably leave it and one height due to the slight difficulty. A child cannot adjust the hoop height. The backboard is soft and when the ball hits the backboard it flexes or sways back and forth, so it doesn't bounce off nicely like a solid backboard will. My boy is under 13 and he's happy with this hoop so far and I don't expect him to be dunking or abusing the hoop in any way, but I don't know if he'll get annoyed with the flex of the backboard as he does play on a team when school is in session and knows how a real backboard should work. I don't expect this hoop to last long, if I get 2 years out of it I'll be surprised. The base again is flimsy, but I filled it with water and it holds nicely so far. We have hard winters so I'll have to empty the base and take the hoop apart so it doesn't freeze in the winter. Overall it serves the purpose it's made for, but I wouldn't count on it lasting very long.
