Great TV and good delivery experience.
Great TV and great improvement on our last LG 4k TV which was 8 years old. TV is quite similar to our last one but I guess technology has moved on as the picture quality is so much sharper. Had to play with the sound settings as the standard setting is very muffled and found that the clear voice setting was best and for picture was best to turn off power saver and change to standard. Very pleased with the TV. Delivery was perfect and actually came a day early. I was nervous of it being damaged on arrival as other reviews mentioned this but thatโs only a few compared to the thousands sold. Driver was very careful with the TV and even offered to bring it in if we wanted him to. Recommended!!

Beware the separation of the legs
This LG TV is great value for money. This size of TV is cheaper now than similar-sized ones were ten years ago, probably because people desire ever larger screens these days. 43" is more than enough for me. I've also been impressed with the longevity of the previous LG TVs I've owned, all of which have lasted at least ten years, and hopefully this one is similarly long-lived. There are numerous sound and picture settings, which should be enough to keep everyone happy. Connecting to the internet is simple and straightforward. You can access all of the various apps and catch up TV services easily enough through the menus. There are 3 HDMI ports, which is more than the 2 present on older LG models. The remote control is of reasonable quality, with a few useful shortcut buttons. However, it is very important to note that when you screw in the two (quite flimsy) legs required to stand the TV up, that they are approximately 76cm apart. I didn't realise this before ordering, it's probably not something most people look closely at, and consequently the TV will not fit on my quite large TV stand as the legs are simply too far apart. It worked out OK for me as I could just swap the TV with another one from a different room, but I can imagine other people wanting to return it because of this issue. Unless you plan to mount it on the wall of course, in which case this would be a non-issue. The other thing that I find troublesome is connecting the TV to a desktop PC via an HDMI cable. There is quite significant lagging, which makes it almost unusable with a PC as it slows everything right down. This was notable for me because connecting a ten year old 42" LG TV to the same computer with an HDMI cable leads to no such issues. I'm not sure if this issue could be resolved, but I can see no settings that are able to be changed to fix the problem. Overall it's a decent TV with a good picture quality, but there are a couple of things to be aware of as noted above.

Fantastic purchase. Extremely pleased
Fantastic value. Came extremely well packaged. Fantastic quality picture for the money. Ignore the negative reviews regarding damaged screens on arrival etc.... recommend this item 100%. Set-up dead easy.

LG LED UR78 43" Smart TV - rubbish
Worst TV I've ever had. It won't tune into West TV deciding that I must have SW (Cornwall & Devon) when I live in North East Dorset. It thinks its a computer; switch it on & it shows a screen full of apps and suggested programmes that I have never watched and never will. The TV selection requires two remote presses. For iplayer it refuses to go backwards using the programme guide, you have to go into the iplayer app which takes time to find the programme (if at all) that I missed. It has a myriad of folders and subfolders to adjust all sorts of things I don't need - 'eye care?' I have a desktop, 2 laptops and a good smartphone & don't want to watch utube on my TV. 'LG programmes' are a selection of other firm's programmes - why? I was not well when I bought it so didn't get it onto the wall bracket for 3 months therefore missing my chance to send it back in disgust. Absolute rubbish - bad design, difficult to navigate & does not do what a basic TV should do. A total waste of money.

Excellent TV
Mounted this on the wall and it was easy to do so. the TV itself has a good clear picture is a cinch to setup and is very lightweight. The sound is actually good enough (spare room) to use without a sound-bar which makes life a lot easier. The remote is my least favourite part as i think it could be a bit bigger and easier to navigate as most of the high usage buttons are the same size as the others seems silly.

Great 4K tv for the price.
Great tv, good value, only downside is all the apps and operating system are outdated (2023) and require updating, but not a big issue really... Also could benefit from having a "magic" remote ( available as an additional purchase)
