Any installation that involves a transmitter, you should use the best materials available. These cables are professionally terminated with sealing compound and heat shrink collars. I was so impressed with the workmanship. I recently used this cable while installing a CB in my Jeep. During the SWR check, the needle barely moved. I used to use RG-8X on mobile installations, but this RG-213 is way better.

Good build quality, heavy RG-213with pl-259 connectors. Solid, not too flexible. Excellent for connecting multiple antennas to a remote antenna switch.

This cable is about half the price of HAM Radio cables. You pay for what you get. The Coax is stiff and seems ok. It has no specs on the package other than the words CB on it. It is sold as RG 213 Cable. It looks and feels like it, so it probably is. It is not very flexible as it is .405 inch COAX. The connectors are where the quality suffers. These are crimped connectors, not soldered. The center condutor on the connector is even with the end of the connector. On higher quality connectors the center conductor is about an 1/8 inch out. I found the connector at first hard to screw on to its female connector. You have to push hard to get it to screw on as they did not have the threads go all the way to the inside of the connector. The threads start back about 1/4 to 1/8th inch. These cables in my opinion are fine for low power CB transmission or less than about 100 watt transmission on HAM radio. I do not recomend usiong these above 100 watt power transmission. So they are ok and more affordable than spec US cables which exceed Coax and connector quality, but cost about twice as much! Wow - this one thick cable! Heavy duty for outside for sure. Will need 10mm clamps to tack this along a wall. Build quality looks good! Connector ends are weatherproofed with a heavy vinyl/plastic double layer. Time will tell if this holds up. Looks good so far.
