I bought this to help me count my mantras each day during my Buddhist Ngondro training, which is over 2,000 mantras per day for 100 days. There's so many to keep track of that I thought this might be easier than using my mala beads. I haven't had it long, but so far I love it. I looked at digital ones but felt uneasy about them turning off or losing track of where I leave off during the day. I like that this keeps the count until I clear it. It clicks easily, I was a little worried it would take a lot of pressure but it doesn't take much at all. I also like the audible 'click' I get from this so I know I'm accurately counting even if my eyes are closed during meditation. I looked at another one that was a couple bucks cheaper, but this one had two advantages: 1. The knob is metal - the other one was black plastic, so I think this one would be more durable. And 2. This one came with two straps and the other version didn't have any straps included that I could see. Once I received it I realized the longer lanyard even has a 'quick release' clasp, so that's a nice bonus. My only concern is that I'm not sure how durable the lanyards will be, they attach with a very thin piece of string that I imagine will break fairly easily, but I hope I'm wrong. Regardless, this was a great purchase. And now I've got to sign off and do my 2,021 mantras for the day. UPDATE: Well, within a couple weeks the lanyard did break as I suspected it would. But the counter itself is still working great and I often double the number of mantras referenced above and it still holds up. So the lanyard isn't very durable but the counter is holding up nicely.

Though the strings on the included lanyards could be more robust, the device itself works great so far. No bells, no whistles, no Bluetooth this or software that, no charging or batteries required: just a sturdy metal body, a trigger with a clear audible and tactile response to every press, and a four digit counter with an easy reset knob.

I walk our circular hallway at work. 17 rounds = 1 mile. I use this to count my rounds. I love how durable this is and every 10 clicks is slightly harder to press so I know how many rounds I've made without looking at it.

My husband and I recently joined a gym and spend a lot of time on the indoor track. It is so easy to lose track of laps so this counter keeps track for us. It fits nicely in the palm of our hands and also comes with 2 straps - one for the wrist and the other is a lanyard. A quick finger movement easily advances the counter then the dial on the side allows you to return the count back to zero.

I purchased this item for work. i am in the retail business and though we have a register, it doesnt count items just scanned or any other form of customer service. I wanted to get an accurate count of actually how many customers i was assisting per day. This item is great!! Great if you are involved in sporting events as well (example to count runners crossing a finish line). Super affordable and better than expected!

It stopped working after 3 day. Waste of money. I would request seller to change it or refund.
