Suggested Primer by the Door Manufacturer
I've used this as a primer for a new front door. It goes on well and seems to have some sort of rubber additive to help seal it. It is oil based, so brushes will need to be cleaned with white spirits and it stinks the place out, so you will need a ventilated room! Recommended.

Good quality Primer
Good coverage use it to prime my new wooden slats on a garden bench .

Decent paint
This is good, standard paint. Very high solvent content, you must use a proper mask indoors - even if it is well ventilated. Quite thin and drippy too. Coverage is ok but not great. Only time will tell how tough and durable it is. Personally I will use acrylic water based paints in the future as they are much easier to use and I think the technology is now better than this old fashioned type of solvent based paint.
