Awesome!
Great motorized train that fit the old wooden Thomas tracks that they no longer make. We have the table and tons of tracks and cars from our first child 20 years ago. However, they have stopped making these and the ones we have are getting pretty beat and don’t work that great. I was thrilled to find this fit and works great. It’s actually better designed than the Thomas cars as the wheels are on a pivot to make the turns and climbs better. As well as the magnets in the back. The controller is a nice touch and you can use without it as well plus it has stop and reverse, train sounds and whistles! In the video I uploaded the batteries were running pretty low but still was able to climb the hill as you can see. It’s also pretty quiet. Ordering the other models from this company. My little ear is very excited to have his “own” that weren’t his older siblings.

Battery Operated Locomotive Train: Just as Good as Brio!
The Battery Operated Locomotive Train is a great addition to any wooden train set. It runs smoothly on wooden tracks, including Brio, with a powerful motor and strong magnetic connectors. The train is well-built, easy to use, and offers excellent value for money. Its vibrant design and reliable performance make it a top choice for young train enthusiasts. If you're looking for a budget-friendly alternative to Brio, this train is definitely worth considering.

So fun
It works great! It even climbs uphill and is fun to play with even off of the tracks. Only complaint was it was a little tricky to pair with the controller but once we figured it out it was great.

He’s happy, I’m happy
Only slightly disappointed that once it starts in one direction it keeps going. I was hoping for one that would move forward only when my kiddo used the lever, but overall still a good purchase for any kiddo that likes to play trains but doesn’t realize putting their body weight into it will cause the track to crumble.

Nice
Like to point out a couple of things, small but good to know. (1) Not all the time train stops when lever is left at middle (released), which is the way it is supposed to be. But sometimes you need to "push & release" one more time in order to stop it. (2) As in instructions, before each use, use the buttons on train (not remote) to start and stop once, then remote starts to work. Overall, very nice product. My grandson will have a lot of fun with it (as Xmas gift). Being compactible with other wooden tracks is a big plus. The seller is very responsive to questions. Thank you!

Worse than a one
So my grandson loves trains we go all over riding different type of trains his favorite is steam trains he has a wood railroad I thought this would be a great addition being remote control he was very excited when it came but the first one didn't work the train would run manually but the remote didn't pair I tried every combination would not pair with the engine he was very disappointed I told him don't worry its Amazon we will just get another one so I requested a replacement two day later the replacement comes I can already tell the product had been opened previously but if it works what the heck but this one doesn't even work manually never mind remotely I tried everything back my grandson is getting upset with no luck these must be just junk don't cause your young ones to get upset stay away from these the original and the replacement are not even in the same box. I would have sent a picture but Amazon has to many permissions you have to grant them to take a picture

Not powerful enough and falls off the track
It’s a decent enough toy for a toddler, however it does have a tendency to fall off the track when there’s going around the corners and definitely struggles to go up a small little bridge on the wooden railroad. And unfortunately, it’s not strong enough to pull more than one or two train cars behind it. Other than that, the batteries have a tendency to run out fairly quickly. I’m talking about no matter of less than 2 hours of play.
