Why isn't it glowing in the dark? We got black and white cow. The green parts dont glow. Do we need to press anything?

Sunlight usually activates glow in the dark

Should I open them before giving them to my grandkids at Christmas?

I would unwrap it, absolutely! It expands with some air, and you can also fluff it up a bit and get maximum Floofness . I wrapped mine using cut-apart, black trash bags and it was an extra bonus having everyone go, "what the heck is that???!" upon seeing the shape and size. Add ribbons around bag for extra confusion.
