Incredible stuff. I have tried everything. It's very difficult to stop this review sounding like some kind of ad. I didn't have much Hope because I've tried so many different specialised products for cleaning very old and stained toilet bowls. Finally this worked after only two overnight applications and a small amount of scrubbing. Very sad sing to admit, but I'm utterly overjoyed.

The crystals are rather big so they don't dissolve that well in cold water. Expect of that good product

just the job

Good basic bulk citric acid at a reasonable price. Used in our home (hard water area) for regular kettle cleaning and washing machine cleaning as necessary +general cleaning - works very well. One teaspoon in kettle and boiled up removes all chalk (rinse well after !!). Can also be used as a 'mixed-up' strong solution or spray to clean 'chalk' deposits from shower-room walls and glass , around sink taps etc. Be aware that bulk crystals (we bought 5kg) MUST be stored in as dry a place and air-tight container as possible or it will absorb moisture and 'cake' - dispense crystals into another container as required/for-the-use-of and keep the bulk as dry/airtight as possible. FYI 'Citric Acid' is the same acid as in citrus fruit so is generally non-toxic but, as with any concentrated chemical, precautions should be taken for using strong solutions/sprays such as gloves and avoiding contact with the eyes.

Got this for cleaning my kettle. It’s great and does the job better than buying it in more expensive bags. Good value as lasts ages.
