SeventyTwo Mini Transparent Pocket-Size Eyedropper Fountain Pen Fine Nib 0.5mm (Multicolor)

These make great gifts, write well and hold a ton of ink.

Please note in my review I meant to say it’s not the best paper instead of pen. I love it, it’s smooth and beautiful. The ink comes out easily but not too much. Buy it!!

It was very disappointing to receive an all purple pen instead of the pen pictured that is a combination of purple and blue. The pictured pen is very pretty and although there is nothing wrong with the all purple pen, it just did not meet expectation. Beyond that, it is a nice little pen. Fits well in my hand and does not fatigue my fingers in the way some other pocket pens do given the size of the barrel and grip section. That said, I would not have ordered this pen but for the represented color scheme as there are other similar pens with a color I would have appreciated more then what I received.

This is the third Moonman Wancai Mini eyedropper that I have bought over the last three years. The first two were the mint-green swirl finish, and I bought this one because I liked the new color. As with the first two, this pen is a nice writer. The steel nib is surprisingly smooth with a hint of feedback; it is firm with no flex. It lays down a moderately wet line despite being a fine point. The wide girth and the fact that the cap posts by threading onto the end of the barrel makes the pen comfortable to hold and write with for extended periods. As with all eyedroppers, the Mini has a large ink capacity, so you can writing extensively over a few days without needing to refill. The pen refills by simply unthreading the grip and nib section from the barrel, then using an eyedropper to pull ink from a bottle and emptying it into the barrel. The nib/grip section has a a rubber O-ring that seals the two sections securely; I've never had any hint of a leak with these pens. The Wancai Minis have a low price, but while inexpensive, they are not cheap pens. The simple construction and design make for a fun pen to use, and the small size makes them a great pocket pen. I would recommend getting leather sleeve, such as a Kaweco Sport sleeve, so that the pen doesn't get scratched up by coins or keys in a pocket.

This pen looks nothing like the one in the photo. It needs to be updated if everyone is going to receive a variation of what I got. The product photo is very misleading. The pen performs well, but this is not the color I wanted. It’s somewhere between pink and purple.

The Wancai Mini is such a cute pen! The purple swirl design on the clear acrylic/plastic barrel and cap is pretty. The pen is really small but it’s comfortable to write with when posted and it can hold a lot of ink when eye-droppered. The nib writes smoothly with certain inks (non shimmer, non sheening inks seem to work best). The pen appears to be very sturdy. This is my 4th Wancai Mini and none have cracked or leaked so far. The price is reasonable and it’s fairly affordable to collect the different designs.

The pen seems great but my package did bot come with the ink cartridges as pictured and like others say they have received. So now I have to find and order the moonman cartridges since they are proprietary. Would it have been so hard to just make it to fit the standard international cartridge? So annoying.

I hope they come out with new designs more often. The pen writes flawlessly, as soon as you pop one of the incliuded cartridges in. Love it. My only wish is they mine had more of the red specks of color in it.
