unipaws Cat Litter Box Enclosure Furniture, Hidden Litter Box Cover

The product was as just as the picture showed nd came as the seller stated. I purchased this item for a "Feral Cat" that we socialized as a younger kitten. When we had him checked by our local veterinarian we discovered that he is FIV positive and now has come to live his days in our Sunroom. This cat is on Lysine and Digestive Aids and his box odors can be stronger than our inside two "Siamese". I wanted to disguise the litter box in our Sunroom, hope to eliminate excessive tracking of his litter and help disguise the odder. My husband, has many other projects at the time and being too busy to build the litter box enclosure, led me to purchase the product. Being that he is very handy in wood working he put the cat liter box enclosure together with no concerns. It appeared that is would be a very basic project for anyone to do. It came with no damage, easy to follow instructions, was a good choice of color to match the furnishings in our Sunroom. One of the ratings showed that their item came damaged with the backside in a white material and damage along the edges. The one we received is all the same type and color all the way around, with the same MDF and veneer overlay that will be very easy to clean. Charlie (our Sunroom Cat) had no problem in adjusting to using this as it contained no strange odor as some furniture can have. He likes sitting on the top, and being a cat use to the outdoors for so many months, find any litter box a place to hide. If you keep the upper high sides on the box it will be a tighter fit, yet easy to turn slightly to pull out and clean. The litter box small open area was a place that I felt Charlie would be able to seek a haven when someone comes to visit as he is not a socialized cat. I purchased this with the suggested litter box and the mats. The litter box has the higher side attachment and good especially for the male cat that he is. He also covers all his matter deeply so with the higher sides it helps to keep the litter contained and not overflow unto the floor inside, plus (so far) keep the urine from dripping unto the product. The matts are thicker and better at trapping litter from the previous similar matts that I have purchased. So far I have seen much less litter on the floor outside of the box and have yet to decide if I will add a matt at the entrance. The whole idea is to disguise the box completely and it does just that. with less sweeping of the floor when I clean the box. The one question I had, which the manufacture answered, was the formaldehyde that holds the MDF material together and its rating. They stated is is a 0.068, which if I remember correctly it should be below 0.11. I like this box and look to purchase a similar ones - yet smaller- for our inside cats litter boxes that we have. To me I found it be a very attractive piece of furniture. I did not get the matt pad for the top which would have been a great addition to the whole kit. I am able to sew one and was looking for something to match the cabin - fishing décor of our sunroom. I may change my mind later as the cost of fabric, like everything else these days, has increased more that I had anticipated. Hope you find this information helpful.

I agonized over which cat furniture to choose to hide my cat's litter box when moving to a smaller apartment space. There are WAY too many options and most end up seeming like a bad idea if you read the reviews. I am happy I went with this one, which looks really nice. The instructions were surprisingly good and easy to follow; putting it together was simple. You can put the door on either side, and you can also leave out the middle part to fit a larger box. It is sturdy enough for the purpose it needs to serve, but please keep in mind that basically all cat furniture under a certain price point is overpriced junk, so be aware that it is a somewhat cheap material and relatively flimsy i.e. probably shouldn't be used as a bench. That being said, it's a bit of a step above other cheap furniture I've had and seems like it can handle its basic purpose and not fall apart anytime soon, so I'm happy with it considering the lack of solid alternatives. I got the "So Phresh High-Back Small Animal Litter Pan" to go inside it, which works well for my small 8-lb cat - it has high sides but she also can get into it okay. She is small though and agile, unsure about larger cats who may need a box with lower sides. One thing that could make this a "no" for some is that it had a very strong odor that is only now dissipating a few days later. That wasn't very pleasant while putting it together, but I pushed through, aired it out, and my cat doesn't seem to mind the smell/the litter box overcomes it. It's fading at this point. Just important to know if you or your cat is extra sensitive, but under my normal circumstances it was okay for me. Overall, this is just fine for the purpose and looks quite nice!

So first off with pros- item looks great and is a good size. I have an extra large litter box and it fit in fine with little more room. I just had to leave divider out. It’s decently heavy and I think for just being a cat litter cover it is worth the price. Easy to read instructions/ all parts labeled. Short assemble time. Took me around an hour with no help from fiancé.( however it could take less time if my kids didn’t keep stoping me for various reasons.) Also was Delivered a day earlier than expected. Here’s a few slight cons however I would still recommend this product! First of all for those saying quality isn’t great...Obviously it’s not 100% wood but for the price it was decent and heavy. I do wish the sides were a little thicker or attached slightly better. They did seem a little on the flimsy side but not significant enough to be a deal breaker. Even if it says semi waterproof I guarantee it will have issues if feces or urine it’s left on it for long amounts of time. I put a waterproof litter mat to cover entire base of box plus some sides. I will check litter every 1-2 days as I always do. There was one piece (the box divider) that had a small dent mark on it. Was shown in pics but this piece goes on inside of box which you wouldn’t see anyways plus I didn’t even use my divider since my litter box is bigger. Other than that packaging was excellent! Just a reminder this is a enclosure for your cat poop!! Not a amazing quality end table from a furniture store! You get what you pay for I wouldn’t expect more for what I paid!! Meets expectations for me!!!

I really like the look of the Unipaws Cat Litter Box Enclosure it blends in nicely with my home and doesn’t look like a typical litter box. It fits a standard-size Tidy Cats litter box perfectly and does a great job keeping odors contained. Cleaning and scooping are very easy thanks to the thoughtful design, and the height is great for reducing litter mess. The plastic is thick and sturdy, not flimsy at all, which makes it feel durable and well made. My cat had no issues adjusting to it and started using it right away. Overall, it works great, looks great, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do. I would definitely recommend it and would buy it again.

We really like this litter box enclosure. It looks like a piece of furniture, and is sturdy. More importantly, our cat likes it. When I first put it together I waited to put his cat pan in. He would get on top and lay on the cabinet like it was his perch. That told me he was comfortable with it. When I moved his potty pan inside, he didn't have any hesitancy. It's time consuming to put together but easy. It would have gone faster had I had an electric screw driver. Otherwise, instructions are easy to follow and all the pieces were very well packaged and labeled. I did not insert the dividing wall so our jumbo box would fit, and that worked. It is very easy to access the inside to clean the litter box.

This product exceeded my expectations. I purchased the Unipaws no top version and also the matching cat litter trapping mat. Since I was replacing an old litter box cabinet enclosure and had limited space under the countertop. The height was perfect with room to spare on top, so I put a teak veneer stick and peel paper on that. The inside is very roomy and don’t let the 16.5” interior height worry you, there’s plenty of room for a large cat to be comfortable. The dimensions of the stainless steel cat box that I purchased on Amazon are 19.7 x 13.7 x 6” so as you can see that left room for an interior cat litter box pedal step also purchased on Amazon dimensions 11.8” X 8.3” x 2”. This made the entrance and exit transition easier for my cats since I have the 6” high litter pan. I also purchased mini rechargeable motion sensor light for inside the box. One more detail to add are the brushed stainless steel 1” cabinet edge pulls for the doors purchased on Amazon. These are beautiful and made a simple but attractive addition. I would highly recommend this product! My cats like their new space and now use this box more than the other one they have!😻

I was a little worried after reading some of the reviews regarding smell and sturdiness, but after receiving one and putting it together I was quite happy with it and I bought another. This litter box cover/bench is quite sturdy, looks good and easy to assemble. It does exactly what we wanted it to do, it hides the litter box from sight and does a good job containing smell. I understand that some may have issues putting it together, but if you can read simple instructions and match (parts that are well labeled with removable stickers -- unlike stuff from IKEA, with screws and connectors in well labeled bags -- unlike IKEA) with a diagram you shouldn't had any problem putting this cabinet together. Having four cats, we needed another one for a second litter box downstairs and we were happy to purchase another one and the quality was exactly the same. The packaging was well done (all pieces fit into a sold dense flat box which is very difficult to damage accidentally because of the way the pieces fit together). If we need another one I would not have any issue buying another one. This was money well spent.

We purchased two of these to function as nightstands in our bedroom while allowing our 5 cats to have access to litter boxes while they’re in our room. Pros: • They were easy to assemble and we chose not to use the inner partition to allow for more room for the cats to maneuver. • The opening can be placed on either the left or the right side of the stand without any difficulty. • They look nice in our room and have cut down on the litter dust since the boxes are more contained. • All of our cats are using these litter boxes regularly, even our large 19-pound Norwegian Forest cat! • They are easy to clean. Cons • There are slight alignment issues with the double doors that make them a few millimeters off from each other. But it’s only noticeable up close and they still function fine. • The magnet could be a little stronger for holding the doors closed. It hasn’t been an issue yet, but one of our cats actively tries to open cupboard doors and could push them open if he becomes aware of them. Overall, we are highly satisfied with our purchases and love the ability to have nice-looking, functional furniture instead of open litter boxes in our room.

Obsessed with this litter box! At first, was a bit nervous of the size height. It would be nice if it was slightly higher since having a litter box inside makes it lower for the cats when they are using it. But I have a 17lb cat and he goes in very well! This litter box is very eye-pleasing, easy to clean, and keeps the dog from coming and eating the litter! I also like that I can store a small scooper inside between the two wooden panels at the front so that it is hidden and easily accessible! There are 2 things that I wish this box allowed for: 1. Option of buying a square litter box that perfectly fits inside 2. The ability to adjust where the middle wood sectioner can be placed. I wish it was a bit more forward closer to the entrance to allow for more space in the main area. But the cats don't mind it and it works well to reduce litter from coming outside the unit onto the floor! All in all - 10/10 would recommend!

Great size and fits even the larger litter boxes. Love the divider which catches most of the litter and stops it from getting all over the floor. Cats took to it without any problems. Really easy to put together, and the instructions were very clear

Just what I wanted& expected. Well made, easy to assemble& works well with the cats. I adjusted the interior arch to accommodate 2x small litter trays but the cats use it more than the previous trays I had& it's a neater look. Love it!

Il prodotto è di ottima qualità, forse un po' caro, però un buon prodotto. Non avendo in casa un luogo adatto, ho risolto il problema di nascondere la lettiera. Il mobile è molto carino, può tranquillamente essere messo in un ingresso o in un soggiorno. Ho risolto anche il problema della sabbietta sparsa ovunque.
