This Scriveiner fountain pen exceeded my expectations. I'd never heard of this brand before, but was looking for a fountain pen within my budget. I chose the stainless steel with chrome finish, and it’s absolutely gorgeous in person — sleek, elegant, and weighty in the hand without feeling cumbersome. It has a luxurious feel that makes writing a pleasure. I went with the fine nib, which writes smoothly and consistently. The ink flow is excellent straight out of the box, with no skipping or scratchiness. In practice, the fine line isn’t dramatically thinner than a medium (I also own a Parker medium), but the Scriveiner offers a more refined writing experience overall. The included refillable converter is a real bonus — no need to rely on disposable cartridges if you prefer bottled ink. At £44, this is more than I’ve ever spent on a pen, but it feels absolutely worth it. It's perfect for journaling, planning, or simply enjoying the act of putting words on paper. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a pen that combines beauty, comfort, and performance but doesn't cost as much as a mortgage payment.

In truth, I haven't used pen and ink since being forced too when at school. (Yes I'm that old!). The desks having a hole in them so as the ink well could sit in there and you dipped the nib of the woooden stemmed pen into the ink and practice joined up writing. Invariably it would scratch the paper and often tear into it. Not a happy childhood memory. However, a few years ago I was asked to sign an important document and the person produced a fountain pen and the sheer joy of signing my name with this pen was tangible. In recent years I have been asked to sign a number of documents and whenever I do I recall being offered that fountain pen, and I knew it was time to lay the ghosts of childhood to rest and purchase a fountain pen of my own. So I researched which pen would best suit me and, based upon the postive reviews, the Scriviener fountain pen seemed to stand out. Having purchased this pen, I have not been disappointed. It is beautiful to look at and the weight of it is perfect. The ink flow to the nib is consistent and the fluidity of the nib on the paper makes for a smooth and easy writing action. Simply signing my name seems to add a creative flourish to ordinary writing tasks. The quality, elegance and design of the pen belies its price point. It is sheer luxury at an affordable price. It is so perefct that it encourages me to write more as opposed to typing everything on a keyboard or on a mobile phone screen. The pen adds a touch of elegance and is wonderfully beautiful. An extremely happy customer.

Beautiful pen with superb balance I recently purchased this Scriveiner Silver Chrome fountain pen with a broad nib and am extremely pleased with it. The presentation straight out of the box is genuinely luxurious, it feels like a premium product from the very first moment. The pen itself is perfectly balanced and very comfortable to hold, even during longer writing sessions. As someone who learned italic handwriting as a child, I particularly appreciate the broad nib, which produces smooth, expressive strokes and comes very close to my ideal writing experience. Overall, this is an elegant, well-made pen that delivers both in style and performance. Highly recommended.

This pen doesn't look good and feel perfectly balanced, it writes beautifully - smooth movement across the paper, with just the right amount of ink distributed as I write so that there is little need for blotting paper (unless you are in a hurry!). In addition, it comes in a handsome presentation box - it would make a good present for someone who would use it, though this one is definitely staying with me!!

I have been searching my whole adult life (I'm 52) for a fountain pen that was as good as my fathers when I was growing up... MY SEARCH IS OVERRRRR!! And it is in fact better than my fathers 😆 beautifully weighted & it writes like a dream, and as long as I don't lose it like my father did with his, my new pen & I will spend many years together putting thoughts onto paper 💗 totally recommend 🙏🏻

Full disclose; I've only had the pen a few days so I can't attest to its durability. However, my first impressions are largely positive. Pros: 1) The pen certainly has a premium look and feel to it, arriving in a nice (albeit damaged) presentation box with cleaning cloth and a couple of cartridges. 2) It's quite weighty and very well balanced. 3) It's tasteful in design - not quite as ostentatious as some of its peers. Cons: 1) Oh boy - this is a thirsty pen. I got two sides of A4 paper out of a single cartridge, so if you're using a premium ink, things will get costly very quickly. 2) The grip design is uncomfortable when using for extended periods and the nib isn't particularly forgiving if you write at a slightly unconventional angle, as I do. 3) The converter reservoir is tiny, meaning you'll probably spend as long refilling it as you will writing with it. Having said that, this pen works every bit as well as some more prestigious brands out there, including some at four figures. It's not a true premium quality pen, because there are a few annoying issues that could actually be fixed quite easily, but it does punch well above its weight and is perfect for using in short bursts. Well worth a punt if you're looking for a quality pen that doesn't necessitate taking out a mortgage to buy.

Very satisfied with the quality feel of this pen. Good weight and nicely balanced, the fine nib I'm using feels smooth across the page, and the ink flow is consistent. Quickly becoming my favourite pen to write with.

Fantastic Fountain Pen. Bought as a work anniversary gift for myself. It feels lovely to write with. I look forward to using it. I like that you can refill with ink or use cartridges. It looks truly specialand feels a good weight. I’d recommend.

À peine l'encre fut remplie, le stylo Scriveiner à plume Fine s'est employé à tracer de belles lettres sur le papier. Produit de grande qualité, dont le poids n'est pas dérangeant et qui fonctionne parfaitement depuis 2 semaines, quotidiennement. Le capuchon s'emboîte avec une légère résistance, qui s'assouplie au fil des utilisations. Très beau stylo. Je recommande.

Es una pluma con buen peso y balance, con apariencoa muy fina, color rojo muy llamativa, su escritura es suave; biene con 2 cartuchos y un cartucho rellenable que funciona muy bien. Seria un muy buen regalo en caso que asi fuera.

Esta pluma siempre está dispuesta, después de tres o cuatro días, sin usar, lo hace instantáneamente, un plumin de trazo suave y limpio, está pluma en este momento solo es comparable con mi Montblanc, tengo plumas Waterman, Parker, Schafer altas de gama, y para nada son mejores. La estética es clásica,,,muy bonita, y el cierre del capuchón es impecable. La recomiendo

Een fijne vulpen die ook lekker in de hand ligt en een aanwinst op je bureau is. Ook voor linkshandige mensen te gebruiken want de pen blijft altijd schrijven.

Inte helt nöjd med skrivupplevelsen då spetsen är ganska "vass". Fungerar absolut och är otroligt snygg.
