The scent smells weird but it absorbs quickly, and the skin feels soft.
The first thing I noticed is that it absorbs quite quickly. Within a few minutes, I could see that my skin looked better, was no longer dry, and felt soft and smooth. Even if I don’t use lotion before applying the serum, my skin seems to get rid of its dry state. Skin feels a little brighter after use. And use only a few drops per day. Then again, I did not notice a reduction in pigmentation and blemishes on my skin. But the skin does look more radiant than before. And it didn't cause any irritation to my skin, not at all. I’ve been having some redness on my cheeks lately and I’ve been using this serum, and I’ve noticed a reduction in the redness over time. But as other reviewers have described, the scent can smell weird and may not be palatable to some people. I would say if someone doesn’t mind its smell and the price is acceptable, this serum could be a good skincare product as it does give a radiant and smooth look to the skin based on my experience.

Remarkably effective, worth the price and smell
I prefer unscented skincare products. In this case, I got what I asked for. Yes, the smell is unpleasant, but completely worth it for the results, and it fades after a few minutes. I am even less happy about having to wait ten minutes between cleansing and application, but again, the results are remarkable and are noticble in a just a few weeks! I'm also not looking forward to repurchasing @ $145, but I’ve wasted so much money on ineffective skincare that I’d be an idiot not to, and since you only use 5 drops at a time that won't be for a while. I 100% recommend this product.

Smells awful
Too much money spent for something I am embarrassed to put on due to the smell.

Absorbs quickly, treated area feels pretty soft, however, the serum's scent... :(
I believe this serum carries really good ingredients. I have a bunch of freckles under my eye area, and I am very excited to try this serum on my freckles. The serum has a yellow oil type of texture and once applied, it gets absorbed very quickly onto my skin, and the treated area feels pretty soft when touching. However, I have big trouble to feel comfortable to the scent of this serum. I usually don't complain about the scent of skin care products, but this serum's scent is way out of my tolerance. I am actually wondering if I accidentally received a bad batch...the scent smells like rotten fish skin to me and it is pretty strong. It lingers long also. I applied the serum last night before bed time, this morning after I wake up, I can still smell the scent. I am not sure if I am able to give more trials on this serum due to the scent...If I do, I will come back to update my review about the improvement this serum brings to my skin. And BTW, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, you should not use this product. You can check my 2nd photo, this caution is clearly printed on the back of the box.

Works very well on pigmentation
I've been using this for a couple of weeks, and while I haven't noticed any difference in fine lines, my little sun spots have faded drastically. My skin looks super clear and evenly toned. I just use a few drops and it absorbs well. If you use too much it'll definitely feel oily. About the scent, it's not so great. There's no added fragrance, but maybe it would benefit from some to cover up the funk. To me it smells like weed, like the old stinky weed you tried as a teenager. I still like it though, and the scent does go away once I add my other skin care products over it. Definitely give it a shot if you have stubborn pigmentation issues.

Smells like burned rubbed
This serum literally has the worst smell of any face or body care product I have ever smelled in my life. It’s smells like burnt rubber and I’m not exaggerating. I put some on my hand and had to wash it off because the scent is so disgusting. It had a good consistency that’s all I can say. I will not be applying this to my face or any more of my skin ever again. For such an expensive product you’d think that the scent would be at least ok.

Really nice serum… but pricey!
I’ve never heard of this skincare line, so I’m having trouble figuring out why it’s so expensive. The ingredients are similar to a lot of other dark spot correctors I have. This one contains 8% Vitamin C… which is a decent amount, but certainly not the strongest. I have one that’s 20% and was $90 (SAINT JANE). It absorbs into my skin well and doesn’t seem to irritate it. Well, I shouldn’t say that; I didn’t have any dryness or redness, but like a lot of serums, my skin broke out the next day. Maybe it’s a cell turnover thing, or maybe my skin reacts that way to Vit C. I never break out on my forehead, but I gained a cluster of tiny papules all along the middle of my forehead (which is where I focused the serum, actually). I’ll keep using it, but if my breakouts continue I’ll have to stop. I’m not sure this is worth the price, esp for the size. Time will tell! 😉
