Design Toscano CL5199 Silas the Sentry Gargoyle Gothic Statue, Medium, 18 cm, Polyresin, Two Tone Stone

It's a nice wee thing but the photos do make it look bigger. It's only a hand tall. It's in the description but I kinda went off the pic.

Have to say whilst detail is great , I felt a little underwhelmed, I honestly think it's overpriced for its size , sorry its not what you want to read , it's just my opinion.

Perhaps describing a gargoyle as "adorable" seems a tad strange, but he truly is. And very well made, just as detailed as the photo suggests, not too heavy. I'm not sure he'd do well outside but makes a perfect indoor ornament at this medium size and watches over my bedroom competently as a good sentry should. Highly recommended as something a little different for your shelves.

I have always loved gargoyles and he is just too cute :DThe details are amazing, you really do have to see him up close, you will be impressed.I have several by other gargoyles, he is the first from Toscano, I will get him some family ;)

Small but gruesome looking. I have placed him on a large stone outside on duty as sentry by my front door, but I'm pretty sure he is really intended for indoor use as he has a felt covered base.

Was bought as a gift but looks great and I love everything about it. Wish I hadn't gifted it away

My husband wanted this and chose it himself as it stated it was "suitable for your home or garden" and he wanted it outside in keeping with the tradition to have a "frightening figure to sit outside the home to scare away evil spirits". It arrived packed in polystyrene in a box.....at a very petite 11 & a smidge cm high, made of hollow resin with a flocked underside and far more suited as an indoor decoration, and certainly not something we'd contemplate putting outside as we very much doubt it would survive a hard frost , and would quickly get lost surrounded by growing plants!
