Great for sensitive scalp!
In 2015, when I relaxed my hair for the 1st time; even though the relaxer at the time was Creme of Nature, my hairdresser introduced me to Affirm/Avlon brand. I have never regretted starting to use this product. She adviced me that a lot of people think it's expensive when compare to other brands, but the truth is it's gentle on the scalp and don't over process the hair even if it's in for more than 15mins. As you know over processing can caused hair breakage. When relaxing hair at home, always remember to use a neutralizer/normalizer shampoo after relaxing to strip the hair. Some people don't and use the regular shampoo and then complains that the product damages the hair. I use this relaxer with Keracare shampoo, conditioner & glossifier ( for moisture) because they are sulphate free. Once hair keeps moisturized it reduces shredding. This means that the hair will not break as much when compare to other shampoos & conditioners. I love this product!!

This was such an amazing purchase. I had to get it. I simply love this relaxer. I was natural for over 10 years. If you’re going from natural hair to relaxed hair and you have issues with your scalp, this is the relaxer you want. Very little to no burning. You will not be disappointed. Oh and since my hair is a super short pixie I get two uses out of one container. Trust me you won’t be disappointed.
