Great company, great flashlight!
I previously owned 2x DS35'S; I bought the 2nd one after losing the 1st one. Now a couple of years later I lost the 2nd one. I usually keep these in my pocket every day (I'm not fond of the belt clip as I keep a multi-tool on my belt already) and I picked these specifically because they fit nicely in a (normal) pocket (not the tiny thin pockets that come in most men's designer brand jeans lately!) anyway in my experience the glass lens always eventually gets a crack in it, but it doesn't hinder the usability of the lamp and is not sharp or dangerous, just a slight annoyance; but otherwise the battery lasts a long time and easily charges when it does go dead, and I decided to purchase this one now because I lost my other one and it's a slight upgrade; hopefully it lasts for years (without me misplacing it!). It's supposed to be brighter than the last one I had, but it's hard to tell on first use without having both to compare, because both of them are really bright! I saw another brand with a similar product but that one is like 3x the price, so for the money this on is a great deal! It's a nice solid product, doesn't feel like those cheap products, and with the power button on the back it won't turn on accidentally in your pocket or wherever you store it.

Flashlight belt holder not so much
So far good Flashlight, but the flashlight belt holder not so good it’s made real flimsy and the flashlight is a little too long for it.

So Bright, You Can See Your Future!
In a world full of darkness, having a flashlight is essential. Having a GREAT flashlight is a blessing! This review will cover the Soonfire MX-75. I will start by telling you that I have bought a DOZEN of these. I have 3 in reserve, two in use, and seven have been given away. The good- Three lithium Power options allow you to decide what's best for you!! You can go with 2X 18350's, one 18650, or my choice, the 21700. Each will make it work, the bigger batteries last almost FIVE hours on high, (not Turbo). VERY impressive! The beam is powerful and far reaching. (200 yards easily) Five light levels are just a button push. Very cool. Rechargeable via an on board USB C port. Excellent! And now for the Big Deal: This flashlight has a second switch. In the end, (where you would expect it), that has ONE job: Turn the light ON or OFf. This feature is the best because when you turn the light on, it will be on the light level it was on when you turned it off! How cool is that!! Its THE feature I like most. The Bad: I don't have a bad thing to say about this light. If I had to pick something, I would ask for a tougher wrist strap. I made my own after the included strap wore through quickly. Not a big deal, at all. To conclude: This rugged, tactical light is on par or better than the MUCH more expensive ($200) brands. I do recommend this light. It's just GREAT!! As for the Title, any flashlight will illuminate your future if you are traveling forward. This light does it very well!!

Great flashlights.
So far so good. I have an older model LED tactical flashlight from soonfire. I still love that little flashlight I’ve had for about 6 years. Unfortunately I had it on the charger and one of our dogs knocked it off of the desk and the port on the inside was damaged. It finally broke off all the way which led me to check soonfire for another flashlight. To my best surprise, this new flashlight is capable of charging the battery from my old flashlight. So I can keep them both! I have mixed feelings about the new design for the switch functionality. I do like that there is now a rear button but I could see it being a bit awkward if in a safety situation I needed to activate the what I call “seizure mode”. It’s something that would need to be practiced for muscle memory. I am leaning towards the preference of only having one button to worry about. Brightness is slightly improved from the older model. Mostly I believe because the light quality is a little better but this could also be due to the age of my old one. Tested over a lake at night without light pollution. At 600’ across the lake I could make out the trees on the other side. Any further than this clarity and light strength diminished considerably. I haven’t owned any other flashlights that could have lit up anything on the other side of the lake. Seems just as rugged. My old one has survived a dirt truckers lifestyle. I have a high expectation for this one to be the same in build quality. I do not recommend using this flashlight on high in very dark situations in a semi-open area where you could be snuck up on. When I was side by side testing these flashlights my dog was outside of the beam and very very easily snuck up on me while he was running towards me. I didn't realize he was there until we were at a distance of less than 10’. I happen to shine the light on him and he warning woofed. I made an expletive exclamation so he realized it was me. Almost gave me a heart attack and now know how easy that could be for a threat to come up on me. Fortunately a false “alarm” for both me and my dog. Would still recommend these flashlights as an addition to safety precautions and many other practical uses. Will buy again.

Win for mechanics
I'm very hard on flashlights and this one has stood the test of time. I've dropped it, lost it in a running machine, washed it, ran over it, and it still works. The tail switch makes it easy to turn on in a hurry. The brightness levels are the perfect increments for all situations. Ended up buying one for all my employees and they have all said the same thing.

Time saver not having to go through each mode everytime you want to turn it off.
Great flashlight for industrial Inspections. Multiple lighting modes and seperate buttons for on off and mode. No need to go through every mode to turn off. Time saver!
