TL:DR This actually cools warm air in your room, so it's the closest you'll get to Dyson without paying triple the price. I find it hard to trust so many positive reviews, so i'm posting with a picture in the hope this helps you. This fan pleasantly surprised me. It does seem to cool the air instead of just circulating warm air like my previous tower fan. On the highest setting, its less noisy than my tower fan. In fact, the noise is so low on the lower/middle settings that my cats will even sit in front of it. Also the remote control is particularly handy because in a heat wave I want to move as little as possible. All in all good product and worth the money in my opinion.

Great fan. Easy to operate with a few adjustable modes: oscillation, 6x speeds. The lower mode is perfect for night time as it's really silent. Also I love that it has a timer, so you don't have to keep it on all night. Very compact considering the dimensions, I can just put it in a corner when not in use and forget about it.

I've now had my fan for a year and still love it. For me it was well worth the cost. I'm a really light sleeper, but can easily sleep with the fan on its lowest setting - it still wafts a lovely cooling breeze that helps me to sleep on warmer nights without disturbing me. I just wish they made a half sized equivalent that I could travel with!

This fan is really good. It kept me lovely and cool during the hottest summer days, it’s really effective. It has several speed/power settings to choose from, as well as mode settings and timers. The night mode is quite good with the speed decreasing over time. I don’t find it too loud at night for sleeping, even on the fastest speed, but I do like white noise. The only downside for me is that the remote control, which is so handy to have, absolutely rinses batteries. I’ve had to change them 4 times in the 6 months I’ve had the fan, even though use is minimal this time of year. I get hot during the night so do still use it on low sometimes even during the winter. But we are talking one button press to turn it on and one to turn it off again and it’s not every night, so I’m puzzled as to why it uses so much battery power??! For me it loses a star on that basis.

This is a great fan, in the hot weather. Easy to operate and is very quiet. You can have it on at night and it will not disturb. Very pleased with it.

Three star review as it really isn't silent, if you have it on the lowest or night time setting then it's less noisy BUT silent it is not. Regardless of that, it is very powerful, my son loves it, it's better than the tower fan as it's bladeless it doesn't push dust around the room. Over all good value for money, wish I'd got the white one though, I didn't realise it was cheaper. It is really big, not a problem, just be aware.

Amazing. So pleased I got this fan, it certainly lives up to its name ‘Silent’. On the lowest setting I can have the fan on all night and it’s just like a gentle breeze with no noise which is just what I was looking for. It has 6 speeds and oscillates if required, a timer and remote control. Additionally there are also several optional modes: Natural mode, where the speed cycles between high to medium to low speed. Night mode, high speed for 30 minutes, medium speed for 30 minutes then low speed for 30 minutes before switching off. Great product

Totally worth the price. The fan delivers on its promise - super quiet and powerful wind flow. Been a heaven sent to deal with the dubai summer when the a/c fails to go down below 22. The fan offers respite and much need air circulation. Will consider buying 1-2 more for the other rooms of the house.
