I've now played 4 of these games and have 2 more waiting for me. I have loved 3 of the 4! So far, forgotten island is my favorite. Some of them have very clever clues and riddles if you're patient. Some of the riddles I don't think anyone could possibly answer without help, but that seems more rare than common. I've done 2 with my sister, which was a lot of fun and two on my own. It has taken me over 2 hours to do the ones on my own and they were the easier versions. I haven't done a 1 dot (the easiest) yet. Always 2-4 dots. I enjoy the challenges and think they're well put together. I have not tried any other brand yet. I have always loved puzzle games. My husband can't stand any of it so I do most of them on my own.

These are not easy games. Definitely requires some thinking outside the box, and I’d plan on more time than you think you need to complete each one. Very cool tho, solid gift and way to spend time with your partner or friends.

Some stories are better than others, but these are a WONDERFUL game to play at home with the family. We are making our way through the entire series!!

Good price for fun games, but there were a couple of puzzles that left you feeling unsatisfied. It's hard to describe without ruining things, but there are just a few times where the hints became necessary because what you needed to do next was just really obscure. My family hates to take hints, and usually when we had to, the first 2 clues were useless (because we already figured that far), and the 3rd is just the solution. However, we have played all of these, and most were pretty fun (and some puzzles were downright fantastic). And after you play one or two, you start to understand these odd clues.These games are also NOT reusable - other brands we can box back up and hand off to a friend, but these are definitely one-use only. Our favorite was Secret Lab.Quality of the product is top notch. It is all very professionally printed, good story line, and a neat format. Other than the few "meh moments", these are really well done.If you like puzzles and don't mind spending a few hours, and certainly if you don't mind taking a few help hints, these are really quite good.

I love playing these alone or with family! They do a great job making each game unique.

Great “escape the room” type games. While you may not get the full tactile experience of a team event in a custom room, this gets very close to the level of urgency and cooperation required to solve the mind-bending puzzles and challenges. Each require a level of lateral thinking and can by played as a family with children > 10. There are hints to reduce the angst and pressure when required, so the fun to stress created is up to you :)Note: these games are one time use, which makes sense as once you know the answer it’s not such a challenge the second time ;). Saying that, the way they use every part of the game (incl. the box in some cases) is fabulous.

My bf and I had lots of fun with these escape rooms. It had us bringing our minds together, spend quality time with each other and test what team work is all about.The escape rooms were tough as we went up a level (as you can see from the score), but it was still interesting the way some riddles had to be solved. It definitely had us thinking outside the box.I found the app very helpful at setting the mood for the game too, it has a timer and great background sound for every adventure.Will definitely be getting more Escape Rooms.(Margarita not included, hah)

Bought these for my 9, 11 and 17 year olds. They take several hours to complete. They're pretty fun and interesting, but after 2.5 hours working on one game we had to stop then we never picked back up to finish. My 9 and 11 year olds lost interest completely after about an hour. My 17 year old and two adults tried to finish and it was still too long for us. So overall fun if you want a 3 or 4 hour game, but too long of a game in my opinion. I'll be giving the other two away and wouldn't buy these again.
